• This equipment is not suitable for use in locaons where children are likely to be present.
• Do not ingest baery. Chemical burn hazard!
• This product contains a coin/buon cell baery. If the coin/buon cell baery is swallowed, it
can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
• Keep new and used baeries away from children.
• If the baery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away
from children.
• If you think baeries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek

Chapter 1 Product Introducon
DS-1100KI(B) is a network keyboard independently developed by Hikvision. It features in 7-inch full
view mul-touch LCD screen and four-dimensional joysck. It supports network access to DVR,
DVS, NVR, network camera, network dome, video integrated plaorm, decoder, iSecure, HikCentral
and other plaorm soware, with powerful funcons and quick and simple operaons. It can be
widely used in nance, public security, army, telecommunicaon, transportaon, electric power,
educaon, water conservancy and other elds.

Chapter 2 Acvaon
You can acvate network keyboard via local menu, SADP client or Web interface.
2.1 Local Menu Acvaon
For the rst-me access, you need to acvate the network keyboard by seng an admin password.
Steps
1. Connect your network keyboard power supply to an electrical outlet, and turn on the network
keyboard.
The acvaon interface will be popped up automacally.
2. Set password and conrm it.
Warning
We highly recommend you create a strong password of your own choosing (Using a minimum of
8 characters, including at least three of the following categories: upper case leers, lower case
leers, numbers, and special characters.) in order to increase the security of your product. And
we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system,
reseng the password monthly or weekly can beer protect your product.

2.2 SADP Acvaon
SADP soware is used for detecng the online device, acvang the device, and reseng its
password.
Get the SADP soware from the supplied disk or the ocial website, and install the SADP
according to the prompts.
Steps
1. Connect your network keyboard power supply to an electrical outlet, and turn on the network
keyboard.
2. Run the SADP soware downloaded from our website to search the online devices.
3. Check the keyboard status from the device list, and select the inacve keyboard.
4. Enter the new password in the password eld, and conrm it.
Warning
• 8 to 16 characters allowed, including at least two of the following: digits, upper case leers,
lower case leers and special characters.
• STRONG PASSWORD RECOMMENDED– We highly recommend you create a strong password
of your own choosing (using a minimum of 8 characters, including upper case leers, lower
case leers, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your
product. And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high
security system, reseng the password monthly or weekly can beer protect your product.
5. Click Acvate.
2.3 Web Acvaon
Aer eding the PC and the network keyboard to the same network segment, you can directly log
in to the web interface of the network keyboard to acvate.

Chapter 3 Network
Network parameters must be properly congured before you can add network devices and operate
the network keyboard over network.
Steps
1. Go to System → Network .
2. Congure network parameters.
-Enable DHCP to obtain IP sengs automacally.
-Manually enter IP address, subnet mask, and gateway.
-Enable SADP to search devices, change IP addresses through SADP soware.
3. Tap Save.

Chapter 4 Keyboard
Keyboard mode is mainly applied to small-sized security projects. Network keyboard works as a
control center and manages security devices in it.
4.1 Login
Steps
1. Tap Keyboard at home page.

2. Enter user name and password.
3. Oponal: Check Remember.
4. Tap Login.
Note
If you enter the wrong password 7 mes for administrator or 5 mes for operator, the current
user account will be locked for 30 minutes.
4.2 Add Devices
Up to 4000 devices can be added.
4.2.1 Manually Add
Steps
1. Go to Keyboard → Device .

2. Tap Center Device or IPC/IP Dome as desired.
3. Tap .
4. Enter device IP address, port, user name, and password.
Note
• The device name is obtained automacally or can be congured as required.
• If you enable the stream encrypon for the device, you need to enter the vericaon code
when adding the device.
5. Check or uncheck Add Video Recorder Output.
Note
Check Add Video Recorder Output, and the output port type, channel number and other
informaon will be listed in the output port list.
6. Tap OK.
