Helping hand is an accessory to Mulrall™ overhead li that facilitates the connecon and disconnecon of the li strap
from the Quick-release Hook mounted in the rail system. For complete instrucons for assembly and use of Mulrall™

3. Aer mounng, make sure that the li strap
with Q-link is securely aached to the Quick-
release Hook (see illustraon) and that
the safety latch funcons properly.
4. Mulrall™ overhead li is now properly mounted
and ready for use.
Mounng the li motor:
1. Place the li strap with the Q-link in the
Helping hand.
Move the Helping hand with the Q-link towards
the Quick-release Hook according to the illustraon
above.
2. Press up the safety latch with the upper part
of the Helping hand and connect the Q-link to
the Quick-release Hook.

Incorrect use!
Helping hand Mulrall™ overhead li must not be
le in the Quick-release Hook aer mounng the li
strap. Helping hand is just an accessory that is used to
facilitate the connecon and disconnecon of the li
strap and it must never be under load.
Before liing it is important to ensure that the
li strap is securely fastened to the Quick-release
Hook. The Q-link must pass the safety latch on the
Quick-release Hook and the li strap must hang
vercally before liing begins.

NOTE
- Make sure the spare part is mounted according to the assembly instrucon.
- Check all funcons related to the changed spare part.
- Repairs and maintenance may only be performed by personnel authorized by Hill-Rom and using original Liko™ spare parts.
Dismounng the li motor:
1. Lower the li motor to a Mulrall™ overhead li
Trolley or other suitable locaon. Unload the li strap
by applying tension to the strap, while feeding out
the desired length by pressing the buon marked
in the desired direcon.
3. Press on the back of the safety latch and
unhook the Q-link from the Quick-release
Hook.
4. Remove the li strap and the Helping hand
from the Quick-release Hook mounted in
the rail.
2. Place the Q-link in the Helping hand according
to the illustraon above.
