このたびは、HIOKI ”9021-01 サーミスタ温度プローブ ”を ご
選定いただき、誠にありがとうございます。この製品を十分に
ご活用いただき、末長くご使用いただくためにも、取扱説明書
はていねいに扱い、いつもお手元に置いてご使用ください。
点検
本器がお手元に届きましたら、輸送中において異常または破損
がないか点検してからご使用ください。万一、破損あるいは仕
様どおり動作しない場合は、お買上店（代理店）か最寄りの営
業所にご連絡ください。
本器は、各種実験や空調関係の温度チェックに便利なサーミス
タ温度プローブです。
この取扱説明書には本器を安全に操作し、安全な状態に保つの
に要する情報や注意事項が記載されています。本器を使用する
前に次の安全に関する事項をよくお読みください。

取扱説明書の注意事項には、重要度に応じて次の表記がされて
います。
本器を安全にご使用いただくために、また機能を十二分にご活
用いただくために、次の注意事項をお守りください。
故障と思われるときは、リードの断線を確認してから、お買上
店（代理店）か最寄りの営業所にご連絡ください。

万一ご使用中に故障が発生した場合は、お買い求め先にご連絡ください。本書
の記載内容で無償修理をさせていただきます。また、製品の使用による損失に
ついては、購入金額までの支払いとさせていただきます。なお、保証期間は購
入日より１年間です。購入日が不明の場合は、製品の製造月から１年を目安と

1. 取扱説明書 •本体注意ラベル（刻印を含む）等の注意事項にしたがった正常
な使用状態で保証期間内に故障した場合には、無償修理いたします。また、
製造後一定期間を経過したものおよび部品の生産中止、不測の事態の発生
等により修理不可能となった場合は、修理、校正等を辞退する場合がござ
います。
2. 保証期間内でも、次の場合には保証の対象外とさせていただきます。
-1. 製品を使用した結果生じる被測定物の、二次的、三次的な損傷、被害
-2. 製品の測定結果がもたらす二次的、三次的な損傷、被害
-3. 取扱説明書に基づかない不適当な取り扱い、または使用による故障
-4. 弊社以外による修理や改造による故障および損傷
-5. 取扱説明書に明示されたものを含む部品の消耗
-6. お買い上げ後の輸送、落下等による故障および損傷
-7. 外観上の変化（筐体のキズ等）
-8. 火災、風水害、地震、落雷、電源異常（電圧、周波数等）、戦争・暴動行
為、放射能汚染およびその他天災地変等の不可抗力による故障および損傷
-9. 保証書の提出が無い場合
-10.その他弊社の責任とみなされない故障

概要
安全について
使用者は、取扱説明書内の マークのあるところは、必
ず読み注意する必要があることを示します。
操作や取り扱いを誤ると、使用者が死亡または重傷につな
がる可能性があることを意味します。
製品性能および操作上でのアドバイスを意味します。
ご使用にあたっての注意
•プローブの被覆が破れたり、金属が露出していない
か、使用する前に確認してください。損傷がある場合
は、感電事故になるので、お買上店（代理店）か最寄
りの営業所にご連絡ください。
•電圧がかかっている箇所の温度測定はしないでくだ
さい。短絡事故や感電事故になります。
• -10°C 以下または 50°C 以上の測定は、金属部先端で行い、柄
およびコードを測定温度中にさらさないように注意してくだ
さい。
•ゼロアジャストは抵抗測定とまったく同じ方法でも行えま
す。また、測定中に誤ってゼロアジャストを動かした場合に
は、抵抗測定と同様、ゼロアジャストをやり直してください。
•温度プローブの応答時間は、測定場所の熱容量、比熱等によ
り変化します。空気温度の測定は空気の比熱が非常に小さい
ため長時間かかります。
各部の名称
使用方法
1. テスタまたはクランプ電流計のレンジをTEMPに設定しま
す。
2. テスタの場合は＋－端子のどちらか一方に、クランプ電流
計の場合は Ω端子のどちらか一方に網線プラグを、もう一
方の端子に黒リードプラグを差し込みますと指針が振れ
ます。
3. 0ΩADJ つまみを回して Ω目盛の 0目盛上に指針を合わせ
ます。
4. 調整が終わりましたら、黒リードプラグを抜いて赤リード
プラグを差し込み、TEMP°C 目盛の指示を読み取ります。
指針の振れが完全に止まってから読み取ってください。

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the HIOKI Model 9021-01 Thermistor
Temperature Probe. To obtain maximum performance from the
device, please read this manual first, and keep it handy for fu-
ture reference.
Inspection
When you receive the device, inspect it carefully to ensure that
no damage occurred during shipping. If damage is evident, or if
it fails to operate according to the specifications, contact your
dealer or Hioki representative.
This 9021-01 Thermistor Temperature Probe is very useful for
various temperature measurements like laboratory tests, air-
conditioning and etc.
This manual contains information and warnings essential for
safe operation of the device and for maintaining it in safe oper-
ating condition. Before using it, be sure to carefully read the fol-
lowing safety precautions.

Overview
Safety Information
In the manual, the symbol indicates particularly
importantinformation that the user should read before
using the device.
Indicates that incorrect operation presents a signif-
icant hazard that could result in serious injury or
death to the user.
Indicates advisory items related to performance or
correct operation of the device.
Operating Precautions
• Before using the device, make sure that the insula-
tion on the probe is undamaged and that no bare
conductors are improperly exposed. Using the
device in such conditions could cause an electric
shock, so contact your dealer or Hioki representa-
tive for repair.
• Do not attempt to measure the temperature of
objects carrying a voltage. Doing so will result in a
short-circuit accident or an electrocution accident.
• In measuring temperatures of less than -10°C or exceeding
50°C, only the metal end portion should be inserted in the
sample. Do not expose the probe housing or test lead to tem-
perature extremes.
• The procedure for adjusting Zero is the same as for ohms
measurements. If the ZERO ADJ switch is accidently moved
during the measurement, adjust Zero over again.
• The response time of the temperature probe varies according
to thermal capacity and specific heat of the sample and other
factors, however, when measuring an air sample with an
extremely small specific heat value, a considerable length of
time will be required to obtain an accurate reading.

Operating Procedure
1. Set the multimeter or clamp-on ammeter range selector to
the temperature position.
2. Connect the mesh plug to either the (+) or (-) terminal of a
multimeter or to one of the Ωterminals of a clamp-on am-
meter and connect the black-lead plug to the remaining ter-
minal. Doing this will cause the matter to deflect.
3. Adjust the 0ΩADJ knob so that the meter reads 0 Ω.
4. When adjustment has been completed remove the black-
leadplug, insert the red-leadplug and read theindicationon
the TEMP°C scale. This reading should be made only after
the needle has settled.
