Safety Precautions
To prevent injuries to yourself and others or damage to property, please read the following precautions
thoroughly. In addition, read the notes in this manual carefully to ensure proper use of the washer dryer.
The following symbols indicate the severity of injury or damage in cases where the washer dryer is
used improperly.
Indicates that death or serious

Power plug and power cord
Use a dedicated 220-240 VAC outlet with a capacity of 10 A or higher.
Sharing an outlet with other appliances may cause the outlet to overheat and result in fire.
The washer dryer must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a
timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by a utility.
Wipe off any dust that accumulates on the blades of the power plug or the contact
surfaces.
Failure to do so may result in fire.
Hold the body of the power plug firmly when disconnecting the plug.
Failure to do so may cause electrical shock or short circuits and result in fire.
If the power cord is damaged, it must only be replaced by the authorized service agent or
repairing shops appointed by the manufacturer in order to avoid a hazard.
If the washer dryer does not operate, emits smoke or unusual odors, or otherwise
operates abnormally, disconnect the power cord immediately and consult a service
representative to request inspection or repair.
Failure to do so may cause electrical shock, electrical leakage, or short circuits, and result in fire.
Disconnect the power plug when performing maintenance on the washer dryer or when
not using the washer dryer for prolonged periods.
Failure to do so may result in electrical shock or injuries.
Do not connect or disconnect the power plug with wet hands.
Doing so may result in electrical shock.
Do not use power cords or power plugs that are damaged or loose power outlets.
Doing so may result in electrical shock, short circuits, or fire.
Do not scratch, modify, forcibly bend, pull, twist, place heavy objects on, pinch, or
otherwise damage the power cord.
A damaged power cord may result in fire.
Do not overload the power outlet by using a splitter, for example.
Doing so may result in fire.
Do not use an extension cord.
Doing so may cause overheating and result in fire.

Installation
Do not install the washer dryer in damp locations, such as a bathroom, or in locations
exposed to rain.
Doing so may cause electrical shock or electrical leakage and result in fire.
Do not install the washer dryer on a wheeled platform or other unstable surface.
Doing so may cause the washer dryer to move or fall over by vibration during operations.
Carpet must not obstruct the openings for washer dryers with ventilation openings in the
base.
Lint must not to be allowed to accumulate around the tumble dryer.
The washer dryer must not be installed behind a lockable door, a sliding door or a door
with a hinge on the opposite side to that of the tumble dryer, in such a way that a full
opening of the tumble dryer door is restricted.
Laundry and detergent
Do not dry clothes to which vegetable oil, animal oil, machine oil, dry-cleaning oil,
cosmetic oil (massage oil, beauty treatment oil, etc.), benzene, thinner, gasoline, or resin
(cellulose) has adhered, or clothes made of polypropylene fiber, even after washing. In
addition, do not dry items that contain sponge-like materials.
Doing so may cause natural combustion of the oil and materials.
Remove all objects from pockets such as lighters and matches.
Do not add excessive amount of detergent.
Use the recommended amounts of detergent, referring to the detergent indicator. Failure to do so
may cause excessive foaming and malfunction of the washer dryer, and result in leakage of water
and foam from the washer dryer or drain outlet and electrical shock.
During and after operation
Do not insert your hand into the laundry until the drum stops spinning completely.
Your hand may get caught in the laundry and injuries may result, even during gentle spinning. In
particular, keep children away during operation.
Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly
removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated.
When near the washer dryer
Keep flammable materials away from the drum.
(Flammable materials include kerosene, gasoline, benzene, thinner, alcohol, and laundry
on which such substances have adhered.)
Failure to do so may result in fire.
Keep candles, incense, cigarettes, and other sources of fire away from the washer dryer.
Failure to do so may result in fire.

Remove the door before disposing the washer dryer.
Children may get trapped in the washer dryer. Loosen the screws and remove the door.
Keep the supplied spirit level and plastic packaging away from children.
Children may accidentally swallow the spirit level or place the packaging on their head and
asphyxiate.
The washer dryer is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the washer dryer.
Do not allow children to enter the drum. Do not allow children to operate the washer dryer.
Children may get trapped inside the drum and asphyxiate, or get burned, shocked, or otherwise
injured.
Do not dismantle, repair, or modify the washer dryer.
Doing so may result in electrical shock, fire, or injuries. (Consult a service representative.)
Do not splash water directly onto the washer dryer when performing maintenance.
Doing so may result in electrical shock or short circuits.
Do not wash laundry on which volatile solvents (gasoline, benzene, thinner, kerosene,
etc.) or sodium hydroxide have adhered.
Doing so may result in fire.
Keep your hands away from the door hinge when closing the door.
Fingers may get caught between the washer dryer and door and result in injuries.
Laundry
Do not wash, rinse, spin, or dry waterproof mats, sheets or clothes, bath mats, hard and
thick items such as doormats, carpets or fabrics that do not allow water to pass through.
The laundry may be damaged, or the washer dryer may malfunction during the spin cycle and
cause injuries.
Fishing wear, ski wear, raincoats, sleeping bags, sauna suits, wetsuits, windbreakers, disposable diapers,
bicycle, motorcycle, or car covers, carpets, waterproof mats or sheets, bath mats, and other hard and thick items.
Examples
Do not use mesh laundry bags that are longer than 40 cm on any side.
Do not wash a single bag alone. Wash it together with other laundry.

Before, after, and during operation
Turn on the tap and make sure there is no leakage before washing and drying.
Loose screws may result in water leakage and unexpected damage. The metal fixtures and gasket
of the tap can deteriorate and rust over long periods of use, resulting in leaks.
Turn off the tap when not in use.
This can prevent unexpected water leakage.
Check for leaks after tap connection whenever the washer dryer is installed or moved.
This can prevent unexpected water leakage.
Open and close the door gently.
Failure to do so may result in injuries, damage to surrounding walls, or malfunction of the washer
dryer.
Check and ensure that lint and other particles are not attached to the surface of the door
bellows before operating the washer dryer.
Such particles may interfere with the sealing of the door and result in water leakage.
Do not attempt to open the door by force when it is locked. (P.8)
Doing so may damage the door and lock, or result in injuries or malfunction of the washer dryer.
Make sure the lint filter is properly attached before operation, and do not remove it during
operation.
Improper attachment or removal will result in water leakage.
Do not apply excessive pressure to the door bellows when loading or unloading laundry.
Doing so may warp the door bellows and result in water leakage.
Do not open the detergent case lid during operation.
Doing so may result in steam or water leakage.
Do not remove the dry filter during drying operations.
Doing so may result in steam or water leakage or burns.
Do not place your hands and feet under the washer dryer during operation.
Doing so may result in injuries.
Do not touch the metallic parts of the drum or door, the top right portion of the washer
dryer, or the laundry (zippers, metallic buttons, etc.) during or after drying operations.
Doing so may result in burns.

Close fasteners (e.g., zippers) on laundry before operation.
Failure to do so may result in malfunction of the washer dryer or water leakage.
If any liquid detergent, bleach, or softener remains on any plastic parts on the exterior of
the washer dryer, wipe it off immediately with a soft, damp cloth.
Failure to do so may cause rust and deterioration of the washer dryer parts and result in injuries.
After a water outage occurs or after you disconnect and reconnect the water supply hose,
turn off the tap, press the Start button, and ensure that the detergent indicator lights
before turning on the tap slowly.
(Do this after long periods of disuse as well.)
Air may have accumulated in the water supply hose or plumbing fixtures, and the pressurized air
may cause malfunction of the washer dryer, water leakage, or injuries when released.
Always use the supplied water supply hose and one-touch joint.
Install the washer dryer in the way that you can access the drain outlet for cleaning.
Clogged drain outlets will result in improper drainage and water leakage. If you remove the drain
hose from the drain outlet hole, make sure that it is reinserted securely into the drainage pipe.
Clean the lint filter and drain outlet regularly (i.e., once a month).
Washing laundry that produces a lot of lint or laundry on which hair or pet fur is attached will clog
the lint filter and drain outlet quickly, and result in improper draining and water leakage.
Remove the detergent case and clean the case regularly (i.e., once a week).
Accumulation of liquid detergent, softener, or bleach may cause malfunction of the washer dryer
and result in injuries.
Do not use hot water from a water heater.
Doing so may result in malfunction of the washer dryer, water leakage, or improper drying
operation.
Do not jam laundry when closing the door.
Doing so may result in malfunction of the washer dryer, water leakage, or improper drying
operation.
Do not climb on top of the washer dryer or place heavy objects on it.
Doing so may result in malfunction of the washer dryer or water leakage.
Do not apply excessive pressure to the door or its hinges.
Doing so may result in malfunction of the washer dryer or water leakage.
Do not use water that is 50°C (122°F) or higher in temperature.
Doing so may result in malfunction of the washer dryer, water leakage, or improper drying
operation.
Do not use the washing cap (optional) in the Fluffy and Tub Clean programs of the Wash
operations, Wash Dry and Dry operations.
The heat may cause the washing cap to warp and fly out of the drum, resulting in injuries or
malfunction of the washer dryer.
Do not hang a rag on the door bellows.
Doing so may deform the door bellows, resulting in water leakage.

Before You Start Washing
For safety precautions,
please note the washer dryer DOOR LOCK mechanism setting
To prevent children from opening the door and getting trapped inside the drum, you can manually lock the door so that it cannot be
opened when the power is off, before or during operations.
Apart from the DOOR LOCK function, users can also set the DOOR LOCK PREVENTION function to keep the door unlocked to
prevent children from getting trapped inside the drum.
By setting up the lock prevention function, the door cannot be locked.
However entering inside the drum is still dangerous even with the lock prevention function.
Press Power button to turn on the power.
To set the DOOR LOCK To release the DOOR LOCK
Close the door, and hold

When the washer dryer beeps twice and

- Open the door, and remove the Knob Stopper using an item with a thin point (such as a pin).
- Close the door and open it again, then the DOOR LOCK PREVENTION function is activated.
The door cannot be locked.
The Knob Stopper is the important item to deactivate the DOOR LOCK PREVENTION function.
Please store it with care after removing.
In order to operate the washer dryer or set the DOOR LOCK function, please slide the
DOOR LOCK PREVENTION knob upwards so that the DOOR LOCK PREVENTION
function is released and the door can be locked.
The “Door Check” code will appear if the operation is started without releasing the
DOOR LOCK PREVENTION function.
If the door is opened after the door being locked, the DOOR LOCK PREVENTION
function is set again.
Slide the DOOR LOCK PREVENTION Knob upwards (shown as below) and then place the stopper back in.

■Remove any foreign objects (coins, safety pins, etc.).
■Use a washing net when you wash delicate clothes (knit products,
lingerie, etc.).
■Close zips, brush sand out of pockets and collars.
■Brush pet hair out of laundries.
■Sort the laundry according to the type of fabric and care label symbol
(cottons, mixed fibers, synthetics, wool, hand wash, etc.).
■
Do not wash too small an amount of laundry such as only a pair of jeans.
This may result in insufficient spin performance.
■Separate colored and white items.

Washing the following items may cause injury or malfunction due to
abnormal vibration :
- Waterproof items such as a wet suit, ski suit, etc.
- Anti-slip treated items with rubber bottoms such as a doormat.
- Cushions, pillows, shoes, etc.
Preparation of

Sorting the
laundry
■Use the amount of detergent recommended on the detergent package.
The type and amount of detergent depends on the type of fabric, load
size, degree of soiling and hardness of the water used.
Use less detergent if :
- you wash a small load.
- the laundry is slightly soiled.
■Too much detergent can result in excess foam formation which reduces
rinse efficiency or may cause a water leak.
■Depending on the detergent brand, detergent may remain undissolved
when the water pressure is low, or when the water temperature is low.

■The detergent and any additives must be poured into the appropriate
dispenser.

CWash, Wash Dry
and Dry
When the "Wash", "Wash Dry", "Dry" buttons are pressed, the selected course blinks.
When the " Start/Pause" button is pressed, only the selected course lights.
DWash, Rinse,
Spin and Dry
The "Wash", "Rinse", "Spin" and "Dry"settings can be changed.
This change may be impossible, depending on the course.
HDoor Lock Prevents children from opening the door.
When set, " "and "Door Lock" are displayed.
ESpin / Dry Level The spinning condition and the drying condition at drying can be adjusted
in two steps of "High" and "Low".
BStart / Pause Used to start or pause the operation.
APower button Used to switch the unit ON/OFF.
If the unit is not started within 20 minutes, power will turn off automatically.
FTimer The operation end time can be set up to 3 to 24 hours later.
JLint filter Lights if lint filter is not set correctly.
KDry filter Blinks if drying filter is clogged.
LHot Lights or blinks when the temperature inside the drum is high.

NDrain Trap
Lights when storing water in the drain trap to prevent odor backflow in the drain outlet.
ODisplay
After operation starts, approximate remaining time and detergent quantity will be displayed.
Each time "Timer" is pressed, the reserve operation scheduled end time is displayed.

PDoor Check
Blinks when the door is open or not closed completely when the laundry operation starts.
QOverload(Dry) Lights when drying capacity is exceeded.

■Sort the laundry according to type of fabric, care label symbol, color
and degree of soiling.
Preparation of the washing (P.9).
■Do not exceed the maximum load.
■Close the door. Take care not to trap any items of clothing between the
door and rubber seal.
■If no program is selected or no button is pressed for 20 minutes, the
washer dryer automatically switches itself off. Press the Power button
again to turn power on.
■Select a washing program first with the Operation button.
■The duration of the selected program is shown on the display as a
guide. Actual washing time may vary depending on the conditions.
■Use the option buttons to set additional functions.

■If you select the wrong program by mistake, reselect the washing
program by pressing the Operation button.
■When the Cotton program is selected, settings such as spin speed,
additional options, etc., are memorized. Same settings can be used
when the Cotton program is selected again.
■
Set the washer dryer to finish operation 3 to 24 hours later in 1-hour increments.
■The delay time indicates the time at which the operation will finish.
For example, if you want the operation to be finished five hours later,
set the delay time to 5 hours.
■If you want to unlock the door or change settings while timer is set,
press Power button and turn off the power. After that setting again.
■If the program duration is longer than selected delay time, selected
program will start immediately.
■The washer dryer starts to detect laundry size, fabric type and water
temperature before setting the wash time.
■The wash time displayed on the remaining time indicator varies
according to the conditions.

■Pause the program.
Press the Start/Pause button. The washer dryer switches itself off if
it is not restarted within 15 to 60 min. In this case, press the Power
button to turn on the power. Then press the Start/Pause button and
the srected program starts again from the beginning.
■

Press the Start/Pause button to pause the selected program. The door lock
is automatically released after about 5 seconds when the water level and
temperature are safe. You can then open the door and add your clothes.
Close the door and press the Start/Pause button again to restart the program.
*Note: It is not recommended to add a large amount of clothes as the washer
dryer first measures the load size at the beginning of program to determine
optimum operation.
■Terminate the program.
Press the Start/Pause button, and press the Power button to switch
power off. Then press the Power button again and select the Spin
or Drain program to drain remaining water in the drum and spin-dry
the laundry.
■The buzzer sounds when the program ends.
■The washer dryer automatically switches itself off when the program
ends.
■Wrinkles after drying
●Remove laundry immediately after the drying operation finishes.
The weight of other laundry may cause wrinkles.
●Reduce the wash load size to 3 kgor less before drying.
●Run the Dry[Cotton] program for 30 minutes.
The laundry will be half dry when the operation finishes.
Hang dry the laundry after the operation.

How to Use the Washer Dryer
Note
- Do not use blanket net. This may cause excessive vibration when
spinning.
1. Load the laundry :
■Fold a large items such as a duvet or blanket as follows.
■Load laundry into the drum with the ends facing the rear of the drum.

2. Press the Power button to turn on the power.
3. Select the Blanket program.
4. Press the Start/Pause button.
5. Add detergent into the detergent case.
How to use the
Blanket program

Bend the washing cap, and insert it from its
top.

Push in the bottom of the washing cap as
illustrated.

Gently pull the outer rim of the washing cap
toward you and fit it to the inner rim of the
drum.

Make sure that the washing cap is
completely inside the drum.
Place your hands on the washing cap, and
check whether the drum moves smoothly.

Use the washing cap when washing blankets (3 to 4.7 kg) or comforters
(1 kgor less) in the Wash operation.
Do not use the washing cap in the Wash Dry and Dry operations.
The dryer heat will melt the washing cap.

create your own customized operation. After you save your settings,
they will appear whenever you select the Favorite program without
having to be reset.
●If you change the program settings and press the Start button, the
changed settings will be saved.

The setting changes as follows each time the button is held for 3
seconds.

Changing or disabling the operation start/finish sounds
A sound is emitted when an operation starts or finishes.
Disabling the 10-minute sound
A sound is emitted as a notification about 10 minutes before an operation fnishes.
Reducing wrinkles after the spin cycle or spinning harder
The degree of wrinkles caused by the spin cycle varies depending on the wash load size and type of
laundry.
Before you start the operation, adjust the spin speed according to your situation.
