INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Dear customers, moms and dads,
Hojdavak MAXI is a textile hammock for adults and adolescents with
a maximum bearing capacity of 120kg, made in the Czech Republic to our
own design. High-quality 100% cotton is used in its manufacture. All other
components are outsourced or purchased from Czech suppliers. By purchas-
ing this product, you are helping the development of sheltered workshops.

MAINTENANCE
Wash the textile sling in a machine at 40°C. The felt sheet should only be
washed manually. If your hammock is used out of doors, protect it from rain
and extreme weather
DISPOSAL
When it has been irreparably damaged or is no longer usable, dismantle the
product and separate its individual parts and materials; dispose of these in
accordance with applicable law at the time of disposal.

PURPOSE
The Hojdavak Maxi hammock is intended for rocking, sitting and lying down.
Its maximum bearing capacity is 120 kg
SAFETY WARNING
• Please read these Instructions for Use carefully and use the product according to
the instructions contained herein.
- Any modification of the product that might negatively impact its safety and your
health is prohibited. Do not suspend the hammock near any open fire or any other
heat source.
• Do not exceed the 120kg maximum bearing capacity - the manufacturer is not
responsible for any accidents due to overload.
• Check the condition of all ropes regularly - they must be in a perfect state,
without any visible wear and tear. If any damage is found, replace the
rope immediately!
• Check the solidity of your suspension system regularly – ceiling screw, free-stand-
ing frame. Install only in places that can safely bear the resulting load. Be aware of
plasterboard ceilings or other ceiling/wall coating. In such cases, always consult a
specialist before suspending your hammock. Check the solidity of any screws and
supports by applying a load.
• Packaging material - After unpacking the product, keep all plastic bags and other
packaging material out of reach of children under 3 years old; the same applies to
the pillow snap hook and rope.
CONTENTS OF THE PACK
• 100% cotton hammock sling
• 4mm thick felt, 45 x 140cm, to be inserted into the sling “pocket”
• Spacing bar made of hard beech wood
• Two 40cm suspension bars made of hard beech wood
• Snap hook
• Polypropylene rope with a core, 7mm in diameter
• Pillow (30x50cm) with a zipped pillowcase, a rope and small snap hook
for suspension

WHERE TO HANG YOUR HAMMOCK
For adolescents, it is recommended to hang the hammock in their room or in the living
room where the family spends most of its time. The garden is also a good place to
suspend your hammock (on a tree), as well as any terrace or loggia. To cut a long story
short, any resting place you fancy.

ASSEMBLY
1) Choose a place and a suspension system for your hammock and then install it
accordingly. It is recommended to suspend the hammock from a ceiling screw
or from a free-standing frame. For more information, see Hojdavak Suspension
in our e-shop.
2) Unpack the hammock sling, spread it on a flat surface and insert the felt sheet into
the pocket in the middle of the sling.
3) Insert the suspensions bars into the side plies and secure them in place with rope
4) The smaller rope provided with the pillow can be attached to the main rope above
the spacing bar and cut to a suitable length. Insert the small snap hook on the end
of the rope, then attach the loop sewn on the corner of the pillowcase to it (not to
be used in presence of children under 3 years old).
5) Important! Check whether all parts have been correctly installed.
6) You can suspend your hammock now.
7) Check the solidity of the suspension and the correct installation of all parts of the
hammock on a regular basis.
