Moonboon hammock motor
Mounting
The nylon string is to be fastened as
close to the center of the hammock
as possible while still leaving distance
between the motor wire and the ham-
mock spring. Make sure to prevent the
wire from touching and wearing out
the fabric covering the spring.

Please note
First deal with your hanging equipment – ceiling hook, door frame clamp,
or tripod stand.
If you hang your hammock from a ceiling hook and the motor from a
strap/chain, you must carefully read the section on WEIGHT.
Put the motor’s parts together in accordance with the instructions on page
5.
Now use the upper snap hook for hanging the motor. Feed the power
cable into the small hole at the top of the motor. The power cord is 10
feet / 3 meters long, so you need to place the hammock near a power
outlet.
Make sure the power cord does not trail down the motor or the hammock
but rather is kept away from them.
Now hang the spring and then the hammock in the snap hook under the
motor. Check that the snap hooks are working and close properly.
Once the hammock is hung, the nylon string coming out of the bottom of
the motor is to be wound around the fabric at the top of the hammock. Do
this by pulling the string down, winding it around the fabric, and fastening
the S-hook around the string so that it is fixed in place.
It is important that the string is securely fastened before you let go of it.
See the illustration on the right.
Once the hammock motor and the nylon string are in place, you may turn
the power on. Read the sections on HEIGHT and WEIGHT before using
the motor.

If the motor is suspended from the
ceiling, it is important to use a stain-
less steel hook without coating. Similar
precautions must be applied if you use
a metal chain.
