PRE-INSTALLATIONINSTRUCTIONS:
Carefullyunpackallcontentsofcarton.
•Thewindowfancomesfullyassembledandisreadyforimmediate
installation.
•Beforeinstallation,familiarizeyourselfwiththebuilt-in7”extender
ontherightsideofthefan,andthetwoadditional3.5”extenders
whichattachtotheleftsideofthefanhousing(seefigure#1.)The
extraextendersarepackedinstyrofoamateachendofthebox.

INSTALLATIONINSTRUCTIONS:
Thiswindowfanhasbeendesignedtofitdouble-hungwindowswithmini-
mumopeningsof22”wideand10”high.
Thisfanisdesignedandrecommendedforusewithascreeninthewindow.
ForDOUBLE-HUNGandSLIDERWINDOWS:
NOTE:OnSLIDERWINDOWSthebottomsectionmustbethesideyouadd
extendersto(leftside).Thecontrolsshouldfacetowardthewindow.
Step1.Withthewindowopentakeanaccuratemeasurementoftheopen-
ingwheretheunitwillbeplaced.
Step2.Matchyourwindowmeasurementwiththeinstallationguideon
page3.
Step3.Onceyouhaveattachedtheextenderpanel(s)(ifneeded),setthe
faninthewindow.Youwillcompleteinstallationwithbuilt-in
extender.Pulloutbothclipsontherightsideofthefanthenpull
outthebuiltinextender.Tolockextenderintoplace,pushthe
clipsdown.
Step4.Carefullyclosethewindowontothetopofthefansothatthebot-
tomedgeofthewindowrestsbehindtoplineoffanhousing.This
helpskeepthefaninplace.
Forsliderwindows(willfitinwindows10”wideand36”high):Inaslider
window,thecontrolmustfaceinward,towards
thewindow.The
7”builtin
extenderwillbe
positionedon
top.Priorto
installingunitin
window,measure
theheightand
adjusttheupper
extenderfora
snugfit.
Note:Insomesliderwindowsyoumayneedtoremovethescreen.
CASEMENTWINDOWS:
Forasafe,securefitinyourcasementwindow,youwillneedaspecialbracket
system.Foreasierinstallationinacasementwindow,weprovideyouwithtwo
bracketsandscrewsatnoadditionalcost.Pleasekeepinmind,yourwindow
musttobeatleast22”highand10”widetousethiswindowfan/bracketcom-

INSTALLATIONGUIDE:
For 22” to 29” Useupto7”ofrightside,pulloutextender.
For 29” to 32.5” Useone3.5”panelontheleftsideofthefan.Adjust
thepulloutextenderontherightforatightfit(from.5”to7”.)
For 32.5” to 36” Usetwo3.5”extenderpanelsontheleftsideofthe
fan.Adjustthepulloutextenderontherightsideforatightfit(from.5”
to7”.)

FanBladeandFrontGrillCleaning:
Tocleanfanbladeandfrontgrill
1.Usingaphillipsheadscrewdriver,removethescrewsthatholdthefront
andreargrillstogether.Carefullyseparatethefrontandreargrillsfrom
theendoppositethebuiltinextenders.Donotcompletelydetachthegrills
asthismaydamagetheextenderclips.Separateonlyenoughtogain
accesstothebladeswithonehand.
2.Cleanbladesandgrillswithasoft,moistcloth(seeabove).
3.Securelyfastenthegrillstogether.
