
Remember to engage the wheelchair lock before transferring to or from the
chair.
Do not lean forward in the wheelchair unless both feet are flat on the floor. This
is particularly important for users with heavy leg casts using elevating leg rests.
Warranty details
There is a comprehensive twelve month warranty from the date on which your new
wheelchair is delivered. The warranty covers the wheelchair for repairs or replacement
during this period.
1. To apply the warranty should your wheelchair require attention, please contact us.
2. Should any part of the wheelchair require repair or full or part replacement as a
result of a manufacturing or material defect within the warranty period, parts will be
supplied free of charge.
3. Any repaired or replaced parts will be covered by the balance of the warranty period
on the wheelchair.
4. General wear and tear on items such as upholstery and tyres will not generally be
covered unless this is due to a manufacturing or material defect.
5. The warranty only applies to new wheelchairs – second hand wheelchairs supplied
directly by Angel Mobility carry a six month warranty period. If you unsure if your
wheelchair is covered, please contact your dealer.
Under normal circumstances, no responsibility will be accepted where the wheelchair has
been required assistance as a direct result of:-
a. the wheelchair parts not having been maintained in accordance with the manufacturers
recommendations.
b. Failure to use the manufacturers specified parts.
c. The wheelchair or part having been damaged due to neglect, accident or improper use.
d. The wheelchair or part having been altered from the manufacturer’s specification or
repairs having been attempted before the dealer is notified.
6. This warranty is not transferable.
Safety Tips
• The engineering and construction of this wheelchair have been designed to provide
maximum safety.
• International safety standards currently in force have either been fulfilled or exceeded.
Nevertheless users may put themselves at risk by improperly using their wheelchairs.
• The wheelchair is designed to be used by a single person only.
• For your own safety the following guidelines must be observed.
• Unprofessional or incorrect adaptation or adjustment work could increase
the risk of accidents.
• Be careful during your first ride in this wheelchair.
• Get to know your wheelchair.
• Practice using your wheelchair on level ground as well as going up and
down hill.
• DO NOT attempt to reach objects if you have to pick them up from the
floor by reaching down between your knees.
• DO NOT attempt to reach objects if you have to move forward in the seat.
• DO NOT operate on roads or highways.
• DO NOT operate on an incline if covered in ice or a film of water or oil.
• DO NOT use the footplate as a platform when getting in or out of the
wheelchair.
• DO NOT stand on the frame of the wheelchair.
