INTRODUCTION
SAFETY
Thank you for purchasing the Honeywell Pet Feeder 4L smart pet feeding
device. This product adds a new level of convenience to caring for our pets.
With the use of the Honeywell Smart Pets App on your mobile device, the
feeder can manually or digitally deliver your pet’s portioned dry kibble
anytime, from anywhere.
After opening the product package, please confirm whether the machine
is in good condition. Check the following list to confirm all accessories
are included: 1 Feeder, 1 Feeding Tray, 1 Power Cord and 1 User Manual.
Use this device only as described in this manual. This product is intended
for household use only.
To protect against shock, DO NOT place power cord in water or spray with
liquids.
Close supervision is required when any appliance is used by or near children.
DO NOT use this device with a damaged power cord or plug.
DO NOT use if the product malfunctions or is dropped or damaged.
DO NOT run the power cord under carpet, rugs or small coverings. Keep cord
out of high traffic areas and where it can be tripped over.
WARNING: Strangulation Hazard. Keep the cord out of reach of children
and pets.

INSTALLATION
USE AND OPERATION
Device Set Up
1. Twist off feeder lid to find the power cord and feeding tray inside.
2. Plug the feeding cord into the bottom of the feeder and string the cord
through the gap that leads to the edge of the feeder to ensure it will sit flat
on a table or surface.
3. Remove the feeding tray from plastic and slide the pegs under the
bottom front of the feeder into the holes in the back of the feeding tray.
This should slide on easily and does not require force.
4. Plug the cord into an outlet for power. The device must be plugged into a
power outlet to connect to the Honeywell Smart Pets App.
5. Add three D batteries for a backup power source.
6. To prepare your feeder for use, add dry kibble inside the top storage compartment.
For manual food delivery, press the “Feed” button to release a single portion,
roughly one tablespoon of kibble. You can press the “Feed” button multiple
times until your desired amount of food fills the bowl. You can also use the
Honeywell Smart Pets App to pre-program scheduled feedings. Portions can be
controlled from 1 tbsp to ³/₄ cup per meal, up to 10 meals per day (please
consult with your veterinarian for feeding recommendations).

Record button
Press and hold button to hear a single “beep” to begin recording. To stop
recording, release the button, listen for 2 “beep” sounds which indicates
that the recording is complete. The maximum recording time is 10 seconds.
If not satisfied, you can repeat the steps to re-record. This recording will
play anytime food is dropped into the feeding tray, alerting your pet that
it's time to eat.
Lock button
Press and hold, then wait for red light to flash twice to lock. In locked state,
feeding button is disabled to prevent accidental press by pet or children.
To unlock, press and hold again for red light to flash twice.
FEED button
To manually dispense dry pet food, press “FEED” button once. Upon pressing
the button, your recording will also play.
SET button
Network Mode Switch or Device Reset. You do not need to push this
button to connect to Wi-Fi, the Feeder will automatically be in this mode
and ready to connect once plugged in. To change the network configuration
or reset the device follow the below steps:
• To switch the connection mode, press and hold this button for 7 seconds
and wait for it to "beep" 3 times. The red/blue indicator light will be on for
6 seconds then switch to slow flashing to signal the transition to a hot
spot connection mode.
• After the machine is configured, press and hold the button again until it
"beeps" 3 times. The red/blue indicator lights will stay on for 6 seconds
indicating that the device has been restored to factory settings.

Power Adapter & Batteries
This product includes a DC5V power adapter. For a backup power supply,
three D batteries are required. Please note, when battery powered, the feeder
only retains the timed automatic feeding function set by the Honeywell
Smart Pets App, all other functions cannot be used without the power adapter.
Battery Instructions:
1. Add three D batteries for back up power supply.
2. The feeder needs to be powered off when adding or replacing batteries.
3. When depleted, batteries should be removed and placed in a dedicated
storage point for waste batteries. If leakage occurs, please clean the
battery compartment immediately.
After the feeder is configured, a recording can be added. The recording will
play anytime food is dropped into the feeding tray (manually or digitally through
the Honeywell Smart Pets App), alerting your pet that it's time to eat.
Recordings
Fast Flash: Flashing twice in 1s means Wi-Fi connection has been established.
Slow Flash: Flashing once in 3s means hotspot connection has been
established.
Steady On: Successfully connected to network.
Change of Mode: Steady light on for 6s.
Red Light:
Battery Powered: Steady red light on. If the light is flashing red, there is an
issue with the motor. Check the motor to ensure it is functioning properly.
Unlocking/Locking: Flashing twice.
Change of Mode: On for 6s.

How to Record:
1. Press and hold the microphone button to start recording. Recordings
can be up to 10 seconds long.
2. After recording, release the button to hear 2 “beep” sounds which means
the recording was saved.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to re-record if necessary.
Connect to App
1. Scan the QR code with your mobile device’s camera screen. Click the
pop up link to download the Honeywell Smart Pets App and connect
your Feeder.
2. Make sure your device is plugged into a power outlet to connect. Once
device is plugged in, open your Honeywell Smart Pets App to connect.
You can follow the flashing light guides to indicate Wi-Fi or hotspot
connection. There is no need to press the “SET” button since the feeder
is automatically ready to connect once powered.
3. Navigate to the "Home Page" screen within the App. This link is located
on the bottom left and can be identified by a house-shaped icon.

4. Click the + button in the top right corner of the Home Page.
5. If your device is in pairing mode (blue light is either blinking or steadily
on) your App will find your device for connection. If your device does not
pop up, you can choose to manually add it.
6. Under “Discovered Devices” click the "Add" Button (see picture 6 above).
7. After Clicking “Add” click the + button next to the image of your feeder.
(see picture 7 above).
8. Add your Wi-Fi name and password if needed then click “Next.” (see next
page).
9. Once pairing is complete (this may take a few minutes to download),
click “Done.”

10. Once added successfully, you can use the Honeywell Smart Pets App
to customize your experience and track your pet's habits. You can
pre-program scheduled feedings portioned from 1 tbsp to ³/₄ cup per
meal, up to 10 meals per day (please consult with your veterinarian for
feeding recommendations).
To clean, please wipe the inside of the food storage container with a damp
towel. Due to electrical components inside the feeder, do not directly
clean with water. Not dishwasher safe.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the configuration setup fails, please note:
• 5G Wi-Fi signals are not supported with this device. Please use 2.4G
Wi-Fi signals.
• Some residential broadband, radio, and television broadband, multi-level
networks sometimes restrict the feeder from being able to connect to the
network server.
•Some software conflicts in the phone will also cause the connection to fail.
Please restart your mobile device. Make sure your mobile phone's Bluetooth
and positioning are turned on and then try to reconnect to the feeder.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
Issues with power
If the feeder does not feed accurately or does not feed, please check whether
there is too much food in the food tank and whether the food passage is
blocked. Please clean the food outlet and the food passage. When using
battery power, please check whether the battery is dead or leaking.
If there is no response when starting the feeder up, please check the power
supply. Please ensure that device has proper power supply.
If the feeder is offline, please check the distance between the feeder and the
router at home. Do not exceed 30ft distance. Signal can be limited if divided
by a wall. Try moving the feeder closer to the Wi-Fi router.
Fetch for Pets offers a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase for
manufacturing defects or defects on any of the materials of the product.
Fetch for Pets will replace the product within the 12-month warranty
time frame.
For the guarantee to be valid, the customer must present the receipt or
invoice to Fetch for Pets that proves the product is still under warranty.
The warranty period will not start after replacing the product, it remains at
12 months from the original date of purchase.

The user must follow the instructions carefully to start up and use the
product. This warranty will not be valid if the product is faulty due to
accidental damage, misuse, inadequate maintenance or adjustment, or
a repair carried out by an unauthorized service.
No return will be accepted without prior authorization from Fetch for Pets.
Consumable parts, such as batteries or covers that suffer normal wear and
tear are not under warranty once the initial 6-month period has expired.
The guarantee shall only be valid for demonstrable defects that existed at
the moment of purchase.
