1-2-2 Operation Panel
Full Tray Lamp
When full tray ON/OFF switch is
ON, green lamp comes on.
When tray descend to lowest
position, red lamp comes on.
Full Tray ON/OFF Switch
This switch is turned when full
tray detection is required.
Tray Descend Timing Knob
This knob is used to adjust tray
descend timing (16 steps).
Jog Switch
Two jogging modes can be
selected with this button.
Delivery Unit (On the Collator)

Change installing position of tray unit ac-
cording to types of collators.
Installing positions can change by chang-
ing hook installed PJ-77/PJ-77R.
Lower position : VAC Series
HAC Series
MC Series
AC Series
Upper position : MAC Series
1.Remove connector which connects PJ-77/
PJ-77R and tray.
2.Remove fixing screws and tray unit.
3.Install hook according to the type of colla-
tor.
4.Install tray unit with reversed procedure of
removing it.
NOTE
Pay attention to the angle of tray unit. It is
installed with rear side lower in normal use.

When connecting PJ-77 to the collator
AC-1200/1600,
install QPP-259 P.C.B. on the collator.
Collator Serial Number
Install QPP-259 on the collator whose
serial number is as below.
AC-1200 ... up to 36899
AC-1600 ... up to 36910
How to install QPP-259 P.C.B.
1. Disconnect CON16 and CON17 from
QPW-252 P.C.B.
2. Install QPP-259 below QPW-252 inside
of the operation panel using the adhesive
tape stuck on the back side of QPP-259.
3. Connect CON16 and CON17 from QPP-
259 to QPW-252.

2.Install PJ-77/PJ-77R at the delivery side of
collator.
Then divide 10 mm clearance between
delivery roller and tray.
NOTE
PJ-77/PJ-77R has casters. Move PJ-77/PJ-
77R by tilting it as shown in the right draw-
ing.
3.Depress start button and check button of
collator, then feed sheets. Depress stop
button when the edge of sheets reach at
delivery unit.
4.Install PJ-77/PJ-77R with 5 mm clearance
between sheets and side guide.
5.Connect two cables to receptacle of colla-
tor.

NOTE
Prepare room at the delivery side of collator
where PJ-77/PJ-77R can be installed.
1.Loosen lock knob and fix delivery direc-
tion down.

2-3-2 Setting Up Delivery Sheet Smoother
The use of delivery sheet smoothers are
preferable to prevent sheets from curling.
1.Loosen weight rollers of collator, slide and
fix them.
2.Align delivery sheet smoothers with slots
of weight rollers.
1.Loosen two lock knobs and slide end
stoper to right or left so that the clearance
between sheet edge and table edge will be
5 mm.
2.Place magnet guide so that it provide a
small space to sheets.

1.Set full tray detector switch.
Towards You : detector OFF
Towards Other Side : full tray detector ON
NOTE
When full tray detector switch is on, lamp of
full tray lamp turns red after tray lowers at
the lowest position, then collating stops
automatically.
2.Set jog mode.
Towards You : Vibration of jogger and
collating start/stop
simultaneously.
Towards Other Sidee : Jogger vibrates.
3.Set tray descend time knob.
Clockwise : Intervals shorten.
Counterclockwise : Intervals lengthen.

1.Set tray at the top position depressing
tray up pedal to star callating.
- VAC,MC, HRC/HAC series collators
start collating automatically if belt is
running on ascending tray.

Be sure to unplug cables before
vibration is adjusted in balance
weight.
Adjust vibration with balance weight when
sheets are not jogged because of insuffi-
cient or excessive vibration.
1.Loosen screw of balance weight with
long wrench.
2.Adjust vibration turning balance weight.
