Lighting Modes
The Solar LED PVC Rope Light has 8 lighting modes:
1Cycle through all modes 2 Twinkle
3 Pulsating Light 4 Fading Pulse
5 Quick Pulse 6 Slow Flash
7 Quick Flash 8 Constant Light
Activate the light
Use the ‘Power’ button located on the back of the solar
light to turn the lights on. To test the light, hold your hand
over the solar panel and check if the light comes on.
Once the light has been activated you can use the remote
to control the light. Press the ‘MODE’ button or one of the
numbers between 1-8 on the remote to select the desired
light setting. The solar panel has a built-in intelligent light
sensor, which detects darkness, automatically illuminating
the light at dusk and turning it off at dawn.
NOTE. You can control light settings with the remote but
only once the power button has been activated (ie. The
remote will not turn the power on/off).
Product Installation
STEP 1 Find a suitable location
While the PVC LED Rope Light may be placed out of
direct sunlight, the solar panel will need access to direct
sunlight to charge. For optimum results, charge for 6-8
hours per day. Ensure the 2m cable will reach between the
solar panel and rope light.
STEP 2 Install Solar Light
Product Installation – Option A
Ground Spike
A.1 Push the ground spike into the extension pole and
attach it to the back of the solar panel. You can angle
the direction of the solar panel by using the black screw
found on the extension pole.
Product Installation – Option B
Using supplied hardware
B.1 Mark out hole with a marker pen.
B.2 Drill the hole using a 6mm drill piece for masonry
installation. Gently hammer the plug into place and then
secure the screw tightly.
B.3 For timber, drill 3mm pilot hole to guide screw into
place ( plastic plugs are not required ).
B.4 Be sure to leave the screw slightly out as this will hang
like a picture.
Product Installation – Option C
Clip built into panel
C.1 Open the clip on the panel and clip it onto thin
surfaces.
Rope Light Installation – Option A
A.1 Wrap the PVC Rope Light around the desired location.
A.2 Connect solar panel to rope light.
