TheHPPhotoSmartC500 DigitalCamerausesthreeAA NiMH(NickelMetalHydride)batteries. Italso uses acoin
batteryforretaining the dateandtimeinformation.Thecameracomeswith a coinbattery(alreadyinstalled),three
NiMHbatteries,and an NiMHbatterycharger.

Caution: UseonlyAA NiMH batteries. Replaceallthree batteriesat thesametime.Do notreplacethebatteries
individually.Alwaysfollowinstructionsonthe battery package when handlingor disposingofbatteries.

Topreservebatterylife:
•Whenusingthecamerawitha computerortelevisionor when usingthecolorLCD forextendedperiodsof time,
useanACpoweradapterthatHPhasapprovedforusewiththeHP PhotoSmartC500DigitalCamera.
•Limit youruse of the colorLCD, except when using an AC power adapter.
•Donotleavebatteriesin thechargerfor anextendedperiodof time(such as severaldays).
