Increase: Press Fn + F7.
Decrease: Press Fn + F6.

How to connect to a projector
1. Plug the video cable into the external monitor port
(VGA) on the back of the laptop.
2. Press Fn+F4 and select the option to enable both
the laptop LCD and external monitor/projector.
3. Use Windows Display Settings to adjust the
resolution to the desired setting.
How to turn on/off the Wireless card
Press the Wireless button above the Backspace key to
toggle the wireless card on/off.
Fn + F3: Sleep
Fn + F4: Display toggle
Fn + F6: Volume down
Fn + F7: Volume up
Fn + F8: Battery settings
Fn + F9: Decrease LCD brightness
Fn + F10: Increase LCD brightness
Fn + F11: Ambient light sensor
Fn + Scroll: Number Lock (Num Lk)
Fn + Pause Break
Fn + Insert: Print Screen (Prt Sc)
How to adjust the brightness
Increase: Press Fn+F10.
Decrease: Press Fn+F9.
Turn on/off Ambient light sensor: Automatically adjusts
brightness based on the brightness of the surroundings.
Press Fn+F11 to toggle on/off.

Wireless light
•White: Integrated wireless device on
•Amber: Wireless devices off
Power light
•On: Computer on
•Blinking: Sleep/Standby mode
•Off: Computer off or hibernating
Battery light
•Amber: Battery charging
•White: Battery close to full charge capacity
•Amber (Blinking): Battery low
•Off: Computer using battery for power or power
cord is plugged in, the battery is fully charged
Drive light
•Blue: Accessing hard drive or optical drive
•Amber: Hard drive temporarily parked
•Off: No disk activity
Touchpad on/off light
•Off: Touchpad is enabled
•Amber: Touchpad is disabled
