By default, password authentication is performed for users
that log in through the AUX user interface.
user privilege level level
Configure the user privilege level for login users
By default, the default command level is 0 for the AUX user
interface. HP recommends you to set the level to 3.
After configuring the AUX user interface, use the oap connect command to log in to the module from the
switch to enter the command line interface (CLI) of the module and manage the module. To return to the
CLI of the switch, press Ctrl+K.

5 Upgrading the LSQ1NSMSC0
The LSQ1NSMSC0 supports software upgrade through the console port and a management Ethernet
interface on the module. For more information about how to upgrade the LSQ1NSMSC0, see HP
Security Modules Software Upgrade Guide.
The LSQ1NSMSC0 adopts independent boot and application programs, so the boot menu is different
from the switch. To upgrade the application program of the LSQ1NSMSC0, use one of the following
ways:
1. Remote upgrade at the CLI
•Use the FTP/TFTP protocol through the management Ethernet interface of the LSQ1NSMSC0.
2. Local upgrade through the boot menu
•Use the XMODEM protocol through the console port of the LSQ1NSMSC0
•Use the FTP/TFTP protocol through the management Ethernet interface of the LSQ1NSMSC0.
