The HP t5740e combines the Intel Atom N280
processor and GL40 chipset, DDR3 RAM, and
native dual-monitor support with VGA and
DisplayPort connectors for impressive price/per-
formance. HP boosts the user experience even
further with comprehensive multimedia and USB
redirection support, including HP RDP Enhance-
ments and Citrix SpeedScreen technology, and
support for HP Remote Graphics Software,. The
low-power HP t5740e meets stringent ENERGY
STAR® requirements and complies with the EU’s
EuP Directive.
Industry-leading flexibility
Experience broad application flexibility with
Windows® Embedded Standard 2009 includ-
ing choice of write filter, support for local ap-
plications, a full browser, and extensive terminal
emulation. Easily extend the life of the system
with a simple memory upgrade in the open
RAM slot, add in cards to the optional HP
t5740/t5745 PCIe x4/PCI Expansion Module
or expand storage with a secondary solid state
flash drive.
Connect a variety of peripherals with eight USB
2.0 (including two in a securable compartment)
and legacy ports. Use the standard Gigabit
Ethernet or choose the integrated wireless.
Make the most of your workspace by using the
HP t5740e in a horizontal or vertical position,
mounting it under a desk or on a wall with the
optional HP Quick Release, or adding the HP
Integrated Work Center Stand for all-in-one con-
venience.

1. The Altiris Deployment Solution software is pre-installed but users must purchase a software license
to activate the software. Visit www.symantec.com/business/deployment-solution to purchase a
license to the Altiris Deployment Solution software.
2. The secondary storage drive is not supported as a primary boot drive for the thin client OS image
or in a hardware or software RAID configuration. Remote Management tools may manage con-
tent on the secondary storage drive, but cannot be used to install the thin client OS image onto
this drive. Additional HP OS Image tools including but not limited to ThinState Capture, RAMDisk
Manager, and the write filters will not function or support the secondary storage drive. Pagefiles
are not supported in a primary or secondary drive environment.
3. Wireless access point and Internet service is required and is not included.
4. Service levels and response times for HP Care Pack Services may vary depending on your geo-
graphic location. Service starts from date of hardware purchase. Restrictions and limitations ap-
