Quidway® AR46 Router Main Control Board
Overview
The main control board is mainly responsible for protocol processing, low-rate data packet
forwarding, interface control and fault detection. It is the core part of the product. The state monitor
information in the system, for example, fan operation, power work and system working state, can be
indicated through indicator. Also, it can be reported to the background and monitored through the
network management system. Moreover, the main control board provides the hardware reset
button RESET.
The main control board of Quidway® AR46 router includes three types, RPU, ERPU and ERPU (H),
and four specifications.

Note:
The optical and electrical interfaces of 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet cannot be used together. In
GE (E/F), E indicates electrical interface and F indicates optical interface. In the optical and
electrical interfaces, one can be used. The electrical interface on the main control board can be
used directly, which is RJ45. The optical port can be used after the SFP module is configured.
When both cable and fiber are connected, only the electrical interface can work.
