1 Overview
HUAWEI TalkBand B1 (B1 for short) is a smart wrist band that integrates functions of
sport assistant, sleep monitoring, and Bluetooth calling. It is primarily designed for
business professionals, private car owners, and other people that care about fitness and
health. It helps you learn about your health status and can also work as a Bluetooth
headset.
The B1 supports:
Walk counter
Calorie calculation
Exercise target setting
Sleep statistics collection
Bluetooth calling
Activity reminders
Smart alarms
Time display
The B1 can connect to a phone or tablet through Bluetooth. Download and install the
Huawei TalkBand application on the phone or tablet to easily manage the data of the B1.

Scenarios
2.1 Downloading and Installing the Huawei TalkBand
Application
Step1: Download and install the Huawei TalkBand application on yourAndroid device
or iPhone.
After the installation, appears on your device's application list.
For iPhone users, download the Huawei TalkBand application from App Store.
For Android phone and tablet users, download the Huawei TalkBand application
from Google Play Store.
Step2: Connect your device to the B1 and touch to open the Huawei TalkBand
application.

2.2 Fitness Monitoring
The Huawei TalkBand application lets you set exercise reminders and targets,
meaning. When you are exercising, you can check your real-time fitness statistics and
even share your achievements with your friends.

2.3 Sleep Monitoring
If you go to bed wearing the B1, it can collect your sleep information, record your deep
and light sleep statistics, and wake you up through smart alarms.

2.4 Bluetooth Calling
The B1 is equipped with a Bluetooth headset. Press the wrist band button on the B1 to
have the Bluetooth headset pop out. You can use the Bluetooth headset to answer,
reject, and end calls conveniently.

4.2 Functional Modules
1. Network communication interface: The B1 connects to your phone or tablet
through Bluetooth and exchanges data with the Huawei TalkBand application
installed on your phone or tablet. The USB port is used for charging.
2. Micro control unit (MCU): The micro processor of the B1 that controls the
information displayed on the OLED screen and vibration of the motor, and
implements functions, such as alarms and step/calorie counters.
