Limited Warranty
The warranty obligations of F4 Enterprises (“F4”) for this product are limited to the terms set forth below:
What is Covered
This limited warranty covers defects inmaterials and workmanship in this product.
What is Not Covered
This limited warrantydoes not coverany damage,deterioration or malfunction resulting from any alteration, modification, improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, misuse,
abuse, accident, neglect, exposure to excess moisture, fire, improper packing and shipping (such claims must be presented to the carrier), lightning, power surges, or other acts
of nature. This limited warrantydoes not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from the installation or removal of this product from any installation, any
unauthorized tampering with this product,any repairs attempted by anyone unauthorized by F4 to make such repairs, or any other cause which does not relate directly to a
defect in materials and/orworkmanship of this product. This limited warranty does not covercartons, equipment enclosures, cablesor accessories used in conjunction with this
product.
How Long Does this Coverage Last
This limited warranty lasts for three (3) years from the date oforiginal purchase of this product. Proofof purchase should beretained.
Who is Covered
Only the original purchaser of this product is covered under this limited warranty. This limited warranty is not transferable to subsequent purchasers or owners of this product.
What F4will do
F4 will, at its soleoption, provide one of the following remedies to whatever extent it shall deem necessary to satisfy a proper claim under this limited warranty:
•Elect to repairor facilitate the repair of any defective parts within a reasonable periodof time, free ofany charge for the
necessary parts and labor to completetherepair and restore this product to its proper operating condition. F4 will also
pay the shipping costs necessary to return this product once the repair iscomplete.
•Replace this product with a direct replacement or with a similar product deemed by F4 to perform substantially the same
function as the original product.
What F4will notdo Under ThisLimited Warranty
If this product is returned to F4 or the authorized dealer from which it was purchased, itmust be insured during shipment, with the insurance and shipping charges prepaid by
you.If this product is returned uninsured, you assume all risks ofloss or damage during shipment.
F4 will not be responsible for any costs related totheremoval or re-installation of this product from orinto any installation.
F4 will not be responsible for any costs related toanysetting up of this product, any adjustment of user controls, orany programming required for a specific installation of this
product.
How to Obtain a Remedy under thisLimited Warranty
To obtainaremedy under this limited warranty, you must contact either the authorized F4 reseller from whom you purchased this product or F4 directly. For contact details,
please visit our web site atwww.f4enterprises.co.uk.
In order to pursue any remedy under this limited warranty, you must possess anoriginal, dated receipt as proof of purchase from an authorized F4 reseller. If this product is
returned under this limited warranty, a return authorization number, obtained from F4, will be required.
If it is decided that this product should be returned directly to F4, this product should be properly packed, preferably in theoriginal carton, for shipping. Cartons not bearing a
return authorization number will be refused.
Limitation on Liability
PRICE PAIDFOR THE PRODUCT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, F4 IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACHOF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, ORUNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
HYLITE MIGHTYLITE PRO –INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Hylite Mightylite Profloodlight ahigh-powered, professional LED floodlight which is suitable for use outdoors in arange of
commercialapplications including lighting perimeters, car parks, garden areas and outside warehouse facilities.
The unit requires connection to a 230 AC 50Hz mains electricity supply.
1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED BY AQUALIFIEDELECTRICIAN, AND CHECKED TO ENSURE
IT IS SAFE, BEFORE USING.
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL AND OPERATE
THIS LIGHT.
1.1. IMPORTANT INSTALLATIONINSTRUCTIONS
The riskof electric shock should be minimized by the installation of appropriate safety devices including theincorporation
of an RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker) into the main distribution board.
DO NOT wire this floodlight into the lighting circuit. Use a switched fused spur. Cables should always be protected against
short circuit and overload by useof an RCD.
Ensure the voltage marked on the product is the same as the electrical power supplytobeused.
DO NOT install the light indoor or where it is likely to be knocked or hit; in hot or humid conditions such as near an exhaust
outlet e.g. boiler flue, dryer outlet.
1.2. IMPORTANT OPERATION & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
DO NOT position the light near flammable or combustible materials (such as wood, cloth, paper) or near flammable,
combustible or explosive liquids,solids, gases or equipment.
DO NOT direct the light intoaperson’s eyes. This light has a very intensive light output, which if incorrectly used could
cause eye damage.
ALWAYS disconnect the mains power supply before servicing or performing anymaintenance.
ALWAYS maintain the light in good condition, with repairs only undertaken by a qualified electrician.
ONLY carry out repairs using genuine parts. Non-authorized parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

2. WIRING REQUIREMENTS
• The unit requires connection to a 230 AC 50Hz mains electricity supply.
• It is recommended that the unit is connected to the lighting circuit via a 5 amp fused spur and using Twin &Earth 2-Core
round flexible cable ofatleast 1mm gauge (waterproof cable should be used for outdoor installations).
• It is also advisable to install a singlepole wall switch to allow easy controlof thefloodlight [Fig. 1].
3. FIXING THE MIGHTYLITE PRO
WARNING: Isolate the power supplybefore installation.
The Mightylite can be fixed in position by EITHER:
Option 1: AttachingtheUbracket to the mounting surface and attaching the Mightylitetothe U bracket, or
Option 2: Clamping the pipe bracket to the U bracket around a pipe or pole, and then attaching the Mightylite.
3.1. OPTION 1: ATTACHING THE MIGHTYLITE PRO VIATHE U BRACKET
If attaching the Mightylite Pro direct to a wall using the U bracket:
• Select a mounting point which is strong enough to support the weight of the Mightylite.
• Attach the Mightylite Protothe U bracket using the two securing bolts provided [Fig.2].
• Position theunit against the mounting surface and mark the position for the U bracket, ensuringthe wires can easily
reach theunit.
• Use the Ubracket Fixing Holes [Fig.3] to mark the 4 drill holes required to secure the U bracket tothe wall (and mark the
cable outlet location if required).
• Detach the Mightylite Profromthe U bracket, drill the wall and screw U bracket onto thewall using appropriatefixings
which are able support the weight of the Mightylite Pro.
• Oncethe U bracket is securely attached to the wall, offer the Mightylite Pro up to the U bracket and secure using the
securing bolts,spring washers and washers provided [Fig.2].
• Loosen the 4 screws holding thefront of the connection box in place and remove.
• Feed the wire through the cable gland on the connection box gently tighteninggland nut up against the gland body
[Fig. 4] to ensure the wire(s) is secured in place and no water can get though intothe connection box.
• Wirethe MightylitePro as described in Section 4.

3.2. OPTION 2: ATTACHING THE MIGHTYLITE VIATHE PIPE BRACKET
If attaching the Mightylite Pro to a pipeor post using the pipe bracket, first ensurethe pole is strong enough to support the
weight of the Mightylite then proceed as follows:
• Establish the correct position for the Mightylite Pro on the pipe ensuring thewires can easily reach the unit.
• Position thepipe bracket and U bracket around the pipe and secure using appropriate nuts bolts and washers (included),
as shown in [Fig.5].
• Offer the Mightylite Pro up to the U bracket and secure using the securing bolts, spring washers and washers
provided [Fig.2].
• Loosen the 4 screws holding thefront of the connection box in place, and remove.
• Feed the wire through the cable gland, gently tightening gland nut up against the gland body [Fig.4]to ensurethe
wire(s) is secured in place and no water can get though into the connection box.
• Wirethe MightylitePro as described in Section 4.
4. WIRING THE FLOODLIGHT
• Oncethe power cable has been fed through the cable gland, approximately 6mm of insulation should be stripped
from each of the cores of AC cableready to attach it to the terminal block in the front of the light fitting.
NOTE: Hylite Mightylite Pros are Class 1 fittings and therefore need to be Earthed
4.1 CONNECTING TO POWERSUPPLY
IMPORTANT: The Mightylite Pro has two dual channel drivers which control the 4 LED arrays within the Mightylite Pro. The two
BROWN(Live) wires in the Mightylite Pro terminal, each operate as the Live for each of thedrivers, enablingthe two arrays
be wired to be switched on and off independently of each other (See Section 4.2 Wiring Options). The two BLUE (Neutral)
wires in the terminal operate as the Neutral for each of the drivers.
The unit is supplied with both Live wires linked into a single terminal. This means that, when connected as follows, the two
independently, each delivering 50% of the total light output (See Sec=on 4.2 Wiring Op=ons), The two BLUE (Neutral)
• Connect the BROWN or RED (Live) wireto the terminal (marked “L”) holding 2 BROWN wires in the floodlight unit,
and linked together by a single BROWN wire [Fig.6].
• Connect the BLUE or BLACK (Neutral) wire to the terminal (marked “N”) holding the2 BLUE wires in the floodlight unit
[Fig.6].
• Connect the YELLOW/GREEN or BARE (Earth) wire to the terminal (marked “EARTH”) holding theYELLOW/GREEN
wire in the floodlight unit

5. AFTER CONNECTING POWERSUPPLY
• After the connections have been secured, the floodlight front (Connection Box front) should befastened tothe
Connection Box using the 4Connection Box Screws.
• Oncescrews aresecure, the screw covers should be fitted [Fig.9]
• To securethe angle of light of the Mightylite Pro set the desired position, tighten the2 Securing bolts then use the2x
Allen screws and washers to lock theposition of the Mightylite Pro on the U bracket [Fig.10].
