1. Safety information
1.1 Intended use
The device is intended for:
– Filtering and disinfecting drinking water.
– Use with cold water.

The device is not intended for:
– Water inflowing from rainwater cisterns,
ponds, etc. Inflowing water must
originate from a public supply.

continuous operation.
– The device must not lie horizontal or at
an angle.
Use of the device is only permitted:
– After reading and observing this user
manual.
– In a technically faultless and
unmodified condition.
– With the use of new original
accessories.
– After correct installation and checks.
– In enclosed rooms.
Any other use is non-intended use.
1.2 User
Requirements applicable to the user:
– Knowledge of this user manual.
– Experience of using mechanical tools.
Special requirements apply to the following
users:
– Children from 8 years.
– Persons with impaired physical, sensory
or mental abilities.
– Persons who lack knowledge and
experience.
These users shall only use the device as
described in the chapter “Use”.

1.3 General safety notes

The device is powered by electricity. This
results in a risk of electric shock.
yMake sure that the electrical connection
is protected with an RCD (max. 30mA).
yNever submerge the device in water or
other liquids.
yNever take hold of the power plug with
wet hands.
yAlways hold the power plug by the plug
enclosure.
yDo not pull on the mains cable.
yNever carry the device by the mains
cable.
yDo not bend the cable.
yDo not crush the cable.
yMake sure that the cable does not come
into contact with heat.
yMake sure that the cable does not come
into contact with sharp edges.
yMake sure that the cable does not pose
a risk of tripping.
The device generates UV radiation internally,
which can cause damage in direct contact
with the eyes or skin.
yNever open the enclosure.
yDo not look into the UV LEDs. Only
check that the UV LEDs are working
indirectly, by means of the status LEDs
on the device and the HYPRO app.

The components in the device (e.g. UV
LEDs or battery) must be replaced by the
manufacturer exclusively.
Used hoses must not be reused.
Used filters must not be regenerated or
reused.
Use of the device is prohibited in the
following cases:
– If the device or individual components
are damaged.
– In case of unauthorised modifications
or changes to the device.
– If the device is malfunctioning.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for
damages in the following cases:
– With a failure to observe this user
manual.
– In case of non-intended use.
– In case of incorrect handling.
– With use of non-original accessories.

The device and its installation are subject
to the regulations of the Federal Republic
of Germany.

2. Product information
2.1 Function principle
The device filters and disinfects tap
water. An activated carbon filter reduces
hazardous substances. The UVC light from
the UV LEDs destroys pathogens. The
device disinfects itself regularly by briefly
switching on the UV LEDs.
The device cleanses water of:*
– Bacteria, viruses and parasites
– Medications and hormones
– Pesticides and herbicides
– Heavy metals
– Chlorine, chloramines and
trihalomethanes
– Volatile organic compounds
– Per- and polyfluoroalkyl compounds
(e. g. PFOA and PFOS)
– Odorants and flavourings

laboratories.

2.5 HYPRO WATER app
The HYPRO app must be downloaded
from an app store, in order to connect the
device to a smartphone or tablet.
System requirements:
– Smartphone or tablet (Android version
5.0 or more recent).
– Smartphone or tablet (iOS version 8.0
or more recent).
Android iOS
You can find the app in the respective
app store under the name “HYPRO WATER
App”.
The following information is presented in
the app:
– Water consumption
– Device status
– Filter status
– Error messages
It may take a few minutes for the
connection to be established and the
device to be recognised by the app.

3. Installation
3.1 Requirements applicable to the
installation site
– The installation site must be clean and
dry.
– A suitable socket must be available at
the installation site. The socket must
have been installed and set up by
a qualified electrician. The electrical
connections must comply with the local
regulations. The mains voltage must
concur with the voltage specifications
on the data plate.

– Installation above the worktop requires
a suitable recess in or behind the
worktop through which the mains cable
and hoses are routed.
– If the wall bracket is used: Select the
installation site such that 10 cm remains
clear beneath the device for mounting
on the wall bracket.
– Select the installation site such that 20
cm remains clear above the device to
facilitate a filter change.
– If the device is used with the HYPRO
app: A WLAN connection to the
internet must be available at the
installation site.
– If a boiler is used, this must have been
professionally installed.
– The tap at the installation site must
have been professionally installed.

3.2 Unpacking the device
DATTENTION!
Risk of damage due to incorrect handling!
The device and its surfaces may be
damaged during unpacking or transport.
yDo not cut into the protective
cardboard packaging.
yObjects that may cause scratches must
be held at a distance.
yUnpack the device and all enclosed
parts with care.
yCheck the device and all enclosed
parts for damage.
yCheck the scope of supply for
completeness.

may be present in the device and may
leak out due to the manufacturer's quality
controlling. This does not impair the quality

3.3 Preparing for installation
yBefore starting installation, make sure
the power supply is and remains
disconnected.
yFamiliarise yourself with the installation
situation and the associated
documents.

– Accessories and their instructions.
yOnly use new original accessories.
The user manual presents four possible
installation variants of the device.
yChoose the installation variant
appropriate in your application case.

materials:

– Cutter blade
– Pen
– Spirit level
– Screwdriver
– Pipe wrench
– Cut-resistant underlay
Angle pieces are only required if you
mount the device on the wall bracket or
on the worktop. The hoses can also be
secured in the device without angle pieces.

yLevel the wall bracket (C) with the spirit
level.
yMark the four fastening points.
Use fastening materials that are suitable for
the installation.
DWARNING!
Danger due to explosion or electric shock!
Drilling into gas, water or electrical lines
can result in dangerous situations.
yMake sure no lines are present in the
wall at the fastening points.

Shorten the hose:
yWhen trimming to size, use a suitable
cut-resistant underlay.
yCut the hose at a right angle, free of
burrs.

Insert the hose:
yInsert the hose until the endpoint is
reached. The retainer element secures
the hose. Make sure you do not deform
the hose.

Check the connection:
yCheck the connection by pulling
against it.

Release the connection:
yCheck that the system is pressure-free.
yPush back the retaining element with
the fingers or with a release aid and
hold it firmly.
yRemove the inserted hose.

pipe to close it.

on the cold water pipe.
yUnscrew the cold water connection of
the tap from the angle valve.

valve of the cold water pipe.
yScrew the opposite side of the
T-piece(K) to the cold water connection
of the tap.
yMake sure that the valve of the
T-piece(K) is closed.
yRemove the bucket.

yMark the respective hose length
required.
yShorten both hoses to the required
lengths. Make sure the hoses are
trimmed straight.

the wall bracket (C) into the device
from below.

onto the tap for disinfected water by
hand.
