1. Safety information
1.1 Intended use
The device is intended for:
– Filtering and disinfecting drinking water.
– Use with cold water.

– Private use or minor commercial use.
– Installation in one of the four
installation variants.

The device is not intended for:
– Water inflowing from rainwater cisterns,
ponds, etc. Inflowing water must
originate from a public supply.

– The device is not intended for
continuous operation.
– The device must not lie horizontal or at
an angle.
Use of the device is only permitted:
– After reading and observing this user
manual.
– In a technically faultless and
unmodified condition.
– With the use of new original
accessories.
– After correct installation and checks.
– In enclosed rooms.
Any other use is non-intended use.
1.2 User
Requirements applicable to the user:
– Knowledge of this user manual.
– Experience of using mechanical tools.
Special requirements apply to the following
users:
– Children from 8 years.
– Persons with impaired physical, sensory
or mental abilities.
– Persons who lack knowledge and
experience.
These users shall only use the device as
described in the chapter “Use”.

1.3 General safety notes

highlighted. A failure to observe these can

yMake sure that installation complies
with the local laws and regulations.
yTighten the connections with a max.
torque of 3Nm an.
The device is powered by electricity. This
results in a risk of electric shock.
yMake sure that the electrical connection
is protected with an RCD (max. 30mA).
yNever submerge the device in water or
other liquids.
yNever take hold of the power plug with
wet hands.
yAlways hold the power plug by the plug
enclosure.
yDo not pull on the mains cable.
yNever carry the device by the mains
cable.
yDo not bend the cable.
yDo not crush the cable.
yMake sure that the cable does not come
into contact with heat.
yMake sure that the cable does not come
into contact with sharp edges.
yMake sure that the cable does not pose
a risk of tripping.
The device generates UV radiation internally,
which can cause damage in direct contact
with the eyes or skin.
yNever open the enclosure.
yDo not look into the UV LEDs. Only
check that the UV LEDs are working
indirectly, by means of the status LEDs
on the device and the HYPRO app.

The components in the device (e.g. UV
LEDs or battery) must be replaced by the
manufacturer exclusively.
Used hoses must not be reused.
Used filters must not be regenerated or
reused.
Use of the device is prohibited in the
following cases:
– If the device or individual components
are damaged.
– In case of unauthorised modifications
or changes to the device.
– If the device is malfunctioning.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for
damages in the following cases:
– With a failure to observe this user
manual.
– In case of non-intended use.
– In case of incorrect handling.
– With use of non-original accessories.

The device and its installation are subject
to the regulations of the Federal Republic
of Germany.

2. Product information
2.1 Function principle
The device filters and disinfects tap
water. An activated carbon filter reduces
hazardous substances. The UVC light from
the UV LEDs destroys pathogens. The
device disinfects itself regularly by briefly
switching on the UV LEDs.
The device cleanses water of:*
– Bacteria, viruses and parasites
– Medications and hormones
– Pesticides and herbicides
– Heavy metals
– Chlorine, chloramines and
trihalomethanes
– Volatile organic compounds
– Per- and polyfluoroalkyl compounds
(e. g. PFOA and PFOS)
– Odorants and flavourings

laboratories.

2.5 HYPRO WATER app
The HYPRO app must be downloaded
from an app store, in order to connect the
device to a smartphone or tablet.
System requirements:
– Smartphone or tablet (Android version
5.0 or more recent).
– Smartphone or tablet (iOS version 8.0
or more recent).
Android iOS
You can find the app in the respective
app store under the name “HYPRO WATER
App”.
The following information is presented in
the app:
– Water consumption
– Device status
– Filter status
– Error messages
It may take a few minutes for the
connection to be established and the
device to be recognised by the app.
