EN The i-box Midwest combines a compact turntable design with Bluetooth streaming in one neat package.
You can play all your singles, EPs and LPs and even 78s thanks to the three speed control switch.
The dual function speaker connects to the turntable via a magnetic charging socket for listening to
your vinyl as well as functioning as a standalone portable Bluetooth speaker when detached.
Allowing you to listen to streamed music from your phone or tablet in any location. When you want to
play a record or recharge the speaker battery simply reattach the speaker to the main unit.

Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles on or near the
turntable.
Keep away from dripping or splashed liquids do not place drinks on the unit.
The unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low temperatures,
moisture, strong magnetic fields high frequencies and dusty environments.
Always leave sufficient space around the unit for ventilation.
Do not use abrasives, benzene, thinner or other solvents to clean the unit. To clean,
wipe with a clean soft cloth. To clean your vinyl records, gently wipe the surface in a
circular motion using a soft anti-static Cloth.
Never attempt to insert wires, pins or other such objects into the vents or opening
of the unit.
Do not disassemble or modify the unit, there are no user serviceable parts apart
from the stylus which should be replaced when worn.
If the turntable is damaged or malfunctions do not use. Consult a qualified service
engineer.
Always use the power adaptor suppled if you need to replace it make sure the
replacement has the same power rating.
Do not move the unit while a record is playing or the pick up arm is unsecured.
This product contains a built-in Li-ion battery. It must be used and charged properly.
Improper use can cause the battery to catch fire or explode resulting in serious or
fatal injury.
This product contains a Li-ion battery and should be disposed of appropriately. Do
not dispose of it with household waste at the end of its life cycle; hand it over to a
collection centre for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances with
batteries. Please check with your Local Authority for recycling advice.

Controls & Features
1. Remove the unit from all packaging and place on
a stable level surface, then remove any tape or
wire holding parts of the turntable in position.
2. Plug the jack plug from the power adaptor
supplied into the DC IN socket (23) on the back of
the turntable housing then plug the power
adaptor into a three pin mains socket and switch
the socket on. The adaptor will power the
turntable and also charge the BT speaker at
the same time.
3. Remove the protective Stylus Guard from the
tone arm cartridge (12) by gently pulling it
forwards.
4. Lift the tone arm (6) and fold down the standby
clip (4).
5. Place the tone arm (6) on the tone arm rest (5).
6. Turn the mode selector switch (15) to the PHONO
position (the mode LED (14) will light up Red).
7. Adjust the volume to a low/mid level using the
volume +/- buttons (10 & 11).
8. Carefully place a record/disc on the platter/
turntable (1).
9. Turn the Speed selector switch (16) to the correct
speed (33, 45 or 78 rpm) for the disc you want to
play.
10.Make sure the Auto stop button (21) is in the On
position.
11. Lift the tone arm (6) and place the stylus at the
start of the record, the turntable will start
spinning automatically, gently lower the tone arm.
12. Adjust the volume to your preferred level using
the volume +/- buttons (9&10).
13. When the disc has finished playing the turntable
will stop turning automatically, lift the tone arm
and return it to the tone arm rest (5).
14.To stop manually lift the tone arm and return it to
the tone arm rest (5). The turntable will stop
turning automatically. If you want to stop the
turntable without moving the tone arm turn the
mode selector switch (15) to the OFF position.
Setting up and operating your turntable
PLEASE NOTE: When you are not using the turntable to play vinyl records we recommend you replace the stylus
cover and unfold the tone arm standby clip (4) and clip the tone arm to it to protect the stylus and tone arm.
Some records may have an auto-stop area outside
the pre-set limit, so the turntable stops before the
last track finishes. If this happens, set the AUTO-
STOP switch (21) to the OFF position. This will allow
the record to play to the end, but please note that it
will not stop automatically. You must manually raise
the tone arm and place it back in the rest and then
turn the AUTO-STOP switch (21) back ON to stop the
turntable from spinning.
Auto-Stop switch operation
Some 45rpm records may have had their centres
pressed out for playing on a juke box. Place the
adaptor on the spindle to play these records.

Operation while Bluetooth speaker is
attached to the turntable
1. Turn the mode selector switch (15) to the BT
position. The turntable mode LED (14) will change
to Blue and the BT status LED (7) will flash Blue to
indicate that the speaker is in “pairing” mode
2. Place your Bluetooth device (e.g. smartphone or
tablet) within 1m of the turntable and activate the
Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device.
3. Select “i-box Midwest” on the Bluetooth device
list.
4. Once paired successfully, you will hear a
chime and the BT status LED (7) will stay lit Blue
continuously.
5. You can now start to stream audio from your
device to the speaker via Bluetooth™.
6. Short press Volume + (10) to increase volume,
long press to skip to next track, short press
Volume - (11) to reduce volume, long press to skip
to the previous track.
7. Short press button (9) to Pause/Play a BT track,
long press to disconnect from a connected
device, long press again to reconnect to the last
device connected.
Standalone Operation
Press button (8) to switch the BT speaker On/Off.
Follow steps 2-7 as above to operate.
Connect the USB charging socket (19) to a powered
USB socket with a micro USB cable (not supplied) to
charge the speaker when it is detached.
Operating your Bluetooth Speaker
Line up the arrows on the speaker and turntable when
you reattach the speaker, and the magnetic plug (20)
on the speaker will snap into the magnetic socket on
the turntable, make sure it is a firm connection.
Reattaching the speaker to the turntable
1. Connect the line out or headphone socket of your
audio device to the 3.5mm Aux In socket (13)
using a suitable cable(not supplied). Turn the
mode selector switch (15) to Aux, the Mode LED
(14) will change to Purple.
2. Control the volume level using the speaker
volume controls (10 & 11) (or a combination of
the speaker controls and the Aux device volume
controls). Operate all other functions on the
auxiliary device as usual.
Auxillary Input
If you wish to listen in private to the detatched
speaker you can use the headphone socket (18).
PLEASE NOTE: Extended play at a very high volume
can impair your hearing. Please use headphones
(not supplied) with suitable caution, initially set the
volume to low when listening and increase gently.
Using headphones
You can play the output from your turntable system
over an external stereo Hi-Fi system or amplifier by
connecting the RCA/Phono LINE-OUT sockets (22)
to the auxiliary input jacks on your stereo or amplifier
with RCA/Phono cables (not included).
PLEASE NOTE: To adjust volume use the controls on
the external system.

Bestandteile und Bedienelemente
1. Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial
von der Anlage und setzen Sie sie auf eine feste
und ebene Oberfläche. Wenn der Plattenspieler
in Position ist, entfernen Sie alle Befestigungsteile
aus Klebeband oder Draht.
2.
Stecken Sie den Klinkenstecker des im Lieferumfang
enthaltenen Netzadapters in die Gleichstrom-
Anschlussbuchse (23) an der Rückseite des
Plattenspielergehäuses ein und schließen Sie dann
Netzadapter an eine Netzsteckdose an (das Gerät
ist mit einem britischen Normstecker ausgerüstet).
Der Adapter versorgt den Plattenspieler mit Strom
und lädt gleichzeitig auch den BT-Lautsprecher auf.
3. Entfernen Sie die Nadelschutzabdeckung von
dem Tonabnehmer (12) am Tonarm, indem Sie sie
sanft nach vorne ziehen.
4. Heben Sie den Tonarm (6) an und klappen Sie die
Standby-Klammer (4) nach unten.
5.
Legen Sie den Tonarm (6) auf der Tonarmstütze (5) ab.
6. Schalten Sie den Modusauswahlschalter (15) in
die PHONO-Position (die Modus-LED (14)
leuchtet rot auf).
7. Stellen Sie die Lautstärke mithilfe der
Lautstärketasten +/- ein (10 und 11).
8. Legen Sie eine Schallplatte sachte auf den
Plattenteller (1).
9. Stellen Sie den Umdrehungsauswahlschalter (16)
auf die richtige Umdrehungszahl (33, 45 oder 78U/Min)
für die Schallplatte ein, die Sie hören möchten.
10.Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Autostopp-Schalter
(21) in der Position Ein ist.
11. Heben Sie den Tonarm (6) an und positionieren
Sie die Nadel auf den Anfang der Schallplatte.
Der Plattenspieler beginnt automatisch sich zu
drehen. Senken Sie den Tonarm sachte ab.
12. Stellen Sie die Lautstärke mithilfe der
Lautstärketasten +/- auf die von Ihnen
gewünschte Lautstärke ein (9 und 10).
13. Wenn das Abspielen der Platte beendet ist,
hält der Plattenspieler automatisch an. Heben
Sie den Tonarm an und legen Sie ihn wieder auf
der Tonarmstütze (5) ab.
14.
Zum manuellen Anhalten heben Sie den Tonarm an
und legen ihn wieder auf der Tonarmstütze (5) ab.
Der Plattenspieler hört automatisch auf, sich
zu drehen. Wenn Sie den Plattenspieler anhalten
möchten, ohne den Tonarm zu bewegen, stellen Sie
den Modusauswahlschalter (15) in die Position AUS.
Inbetriebnahme und Bedienung des Plattenspielers
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: Wenn Sie den Plattenspieler nicht zum Abspielen von Vinylplatten nutzen, empfehlen
wir, die Nadelabdeckung wieder aufzusetzen, die Standby-Tonarmklammer (4) auszuklappen und den Tonarm
damit zu befestigen, um Nadel und Tonarm zu schützen.
Einige Platten haben möglicherweise außerhalb
der vorgegebenen Grenze einen Autostopp-
Bereich, so dass der Plattenspieler vor dem Ende
des letzten Lieds anhält. Falls dies passiert, stellen
Sie den Autostoppschalter (21) in die Position EIN.
So können Sie die Platte bis zum Ende spielen,
aber beachten Sie bitte, das sie nicht automatisch
anhält. Sie müssen den Tonarm manuell anheben
und ihn zurück auf die Stütze legen und den
Autostoppschalter (21) dann auf EIN stellen, um die
Drehung des Plattenspielers zu beenden.

Manche 45-er Platten haben zum Abspielen in einer
Jukebox möglicherweise ein vergrößertes Mittelloch.
Setzen Sie Adapter auf die Spindel, um diese Platten
abspielen zu können.
Nadeladapter
Bedienung in Kombination mit dem
Plattenspieler
1. Stellen Sie den Modusauswahlschalter (15) in die
Position BT. Die Modus-LED des Plattenspielers
(14) wechselt auf Blau und die BT-Status-LED
(7) blinkt blau, um anzuzeigen, dass sich der
Lautsprecher im „Verbindungsmodus“ befindet.
2. Stellen Sie die Musikanlage und das Bluetooth-
Gerät nicht weiter als 1 m voneinander entfernt auf
und aktivieren Sie die Bluetooth-Funktion an
Ihrem Bluetooth-Gerät.
3. Wählen Sie “i-box Midwest” in der Bluetooth-
Geräteliste aus.
4.
Nach erfolgreicher Verbindung ist ein Ton zu hören
und die BT-Status-LED (7) leuchtet permanent blau.
5. Sie können nun mit dem Streamen von
Audioinhalten von Ihrem Gerät an den
Lautsprecher über Bluetooth™ beginnen.
6. Drücken Sie kurz auf Lautstärke + (10), um die
Lautstärke zu erhöhen, drücken Sie lange darauf,
um zum nächsten Lied zu springen, drücken Sie
kurz auf Lautstärke - (11), um die Lautstärke zu
senken, drücken Sie lange darauf, um zum
vorherigen Lied zu springen.
7. Drücken Sie kurz auf die Taste (9), um ein BT-Lied
zu pausieren/abzuspielen, drücken Sie lange
darauf, um ein verbundenes Gerät zu trennen,
drücken Sie erneut lange darauf, um das zuletzt
verbundene Gerät wieder zu verbinden.
Eigenständiger Betrieb
Drücken Sie auf die Taste (8), um den BT-Lautsprecher
Ein/Aus zu schalten. Folgen Sie zur Bedienung den
Schritten 2-7 oben.
Verbinden Sie die USB-Aufladebuchse (19) über ein
(nicht im Lieferumfang enthaltenes) Mikro-USB-
Kabel mit einer angeschlossenen USB-Buchse, um
den Lautsprecher aufzuladen, wenn er getrennt ist.
Bedienung Ihrer Bluetooth-Lautsprecher
Richten Sie zum erneuten Anschließen des
Lautsprechers an den Plattenspieler die Pfeile
aufeinander aus. Der magnetische Stecker (20) am

Erneutes Anschließen des Lautsprechers an den Plattenspieler
1. Schließen Sie die Ausgangs- oder
Kopfhöreranschlussbuchse Ihres Audiogeräts
mithilfe eines (nicht im Lieferumfang
enthaltenen) geeigneten Kabels an die 3,5 mm
Aux-Eingangsbuchse (13) m an. Stellen Sie den
Modusauswahlschalter (15) auf Aux, die Modus-
LED (14) wechselt auf Violett.
2. Steuern Sie den Lautstärkepegel mithilfe der
Lautstärkesteuerungen des Lautsprechers
(10 und 11) (oder einer Kombination der
Lautstärkesteuerungen des Lautsprechers
und des Aux-Geräts). Nutzen Sie alle sonstigen
Funktionen am Auxillary-Gerät wie gewohnt.
Auxillary-Eingang
Wenn Sie über den getrennten Lautsprecher
ungestört zuhören möchten, können Sie die
Kopfhöreranschlussbuchse (18) verwenden.
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: Längeres Abspielen bei sehr
hoher Lautstärke kann Ihr Gehör schädigen.
Verwenden Sie (nicht im Lieferumfang enthaltene)
Kopfhörer bitte mit Bedacht. Stellen Sie die
Lautstärke zunächst auf niedrig und erhöhen Sie sie
dann vorsichtig.
Verwendung von Kopfhörern
Sie können den Ausgang Ihrer Plattenspieleranlage
an eine externe Stereo-HiFi-Anlage oder einen
Verstärker überspielen, indem Sie die RCA/
Phono-AUSGANGS-Buchsen (22) mit (nicht im
Lieferumfang enthaltenen) RCA-/Phono-Kabeln an
die Auxiliary-Eingangsbuchsen an Ihrer Stereoanlage
oder Ihrem Verstärker anschließen.
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: Nutzen Sie zum Einstellen
der Lautstärke die Steuerungen am externen
System.

Piezas y controles
1. Retire todo el embalaje de la unidad y colóquela
en una superficie nivelada estable, luego retire
cualquier cinta o alambre que sostenga las partes
del tocadiscos en posición.
2. Enchufe la clavija del adaptador de alimentación
al conector de entrada de DC IN (23) en la
parte posterior de la carcasa del tocadiscos y, a
continuación, enchufe el adaptador de
alimentación en la toma de red de tres clavijas
y encienda el conector. El adaptador emitirá
electricidad en el tocadiscos y también cargará el
altavoz BT al mismo tiempo.
3. Retire el protector de la púa del cabezal del brazo
(12) tirando suavemente hacia delante.
4. Levante el brazo (6) y baje el clip de standby (4).

Coloque el brazo (6) sobre el soporte del brazo (5).
6. Gire el interruptor selector de modo (15) en la
posición PHONO (el modo LED (14) se iluminará
en rojo).
7. Ajuste el volumen a un nivel bajo/medio usando
los botones de volumen +/- (10 y 11).

Coloque con cuidado un disco en el plato tocadiscos (1).
9. Gire el interruptor selector de velocidad (16) a la
velocidad correcta (33, 45 o 78 RPM) en el disco
que desea reproducir.
10.Asegúrese de que el botón de parada automática
(21) esté en la posición de encendido (ON).
11. Levante el brazo (6) y coloque la aguja en el
inicio del disco, el tocadiscos comenzará a girar
automáticamente, baje suavemente el brazo.
12. Ajuste el volumen a su nivel preferido usando los
botones de volumen +/- (9 y 10).
13. Cuando el disco haya terminado de reproducirse,
el tocadiscos dejará de girar de manera
automática, levante el brazo y colóquelo de
nuevo en el soporte del brazo (5).
14.Para detenerlo de manera manual, levante el
brazo y colóquelo de nuevo en el soporte
del brazo (5). El tocadiscos dejará de girar
automáticamente. Si desea detener el tocadiscos
sin mover el brazo, gire el interruptor selector de
modo (15) a la posición OFF.
Instalar y utilizar su tocadiscos
NOTA: Cuando no esté usando el tocadiscos para reproducir discos de vinilo, le recomendamos que coloque de
nuevo la tapa de la aguja, despliegue el clip standby del brazo (4) y enganche el brazo en este para proteger la
aguja y el brazo.
Algunos discos pueden tener una zona de parada
automática fuera del límite preestablecido, para que
el tocadiscos se detenga antes de que termine la
última pista. De suceder esto, ajuste el interruptor
de parada automática (21) en la posición de OFF
(apagado). Esto permitirá que el disco se reproduzca
hasta el final, pero tenga en cuenta que no se
detendrá de forma automática. Debe elevar de
manera manual el brazo, colocarlo de nuevo en el
soporte y luego encender el interruptor de parada
automática (21) nuevamente en ON para que el
tocadiscos deje de girar.

Funcionamiento cuando esté conectado
en el tocadiscos
1. Gire el control de selector de modo (15) en
la posición BT. El modo LED del tocadiscos (14)
cambiará a azul y el LED de estado BT (7)
parpadeará en azul para indicar que el altavoz
está en modo “sincronizado”.
2. Coloque la unidad y el dispositivo Bluetooth a una
distancia no superior a 1 metro y active la función
Bluetooth en su dispositivo Bluetooth.
3. Seleccione «i-box Midwest» (Tocadiscos BT) en la
lista de dispositivos Bluetooth.
4. Una vez se haya sincronizado con éxito, oirá
un pitido y el LED de estado BT (7) permanecerá
encendido en Azul de manera continua.
5. Ahora puede comenzar a transmitir audio desde
su dispositivo al altavoz a través de Bluetooth™.

Presione brevemente Volumen + (10) para
subir el volumen, presione prolongadamente para
saltar a la pista siguiente, presione brevemente
Volumen - (11) para bajar el volumen, presione
prolongadamente para saltar a la pista anterior .
7. Presione brevemente el botón (9) para pausar/
reproducir una pista BT, presione prolongadamente
para desconectarse de un dispositivo conectado,
presione prolongadamente de nuevo para volver a
conectarse al último dispositivo conectado.
Funcionamiento autónomo
Pulse el botón (8) para encender o apagar el altavoz
BT. Siga los pasos 2 a 7 anteriores para operar.
Conecte la toma de carga USB (19) a una toma
USB con alimentación con un microcable USB (no
suministrado) para cargar el altavoz cuando esté
desconectado.
Funcionamiento del altavoz Bluetooth
Alinee las flechas del altavoz y el tocadiscos cuando
vuelva a conectar el altavoz y el enchufe magnético
(20) en el altavoz se aferrará en la toma magnética
del tocadiscos, asegurando así una conexión firme.
Para recolocar el altavoz en el tocadiscos
1. Conecte la salida de línea o la toma de auriculares
de su dispositivo de audio en la toma Aux In de
3,5mm (13) utilizando un cable adecuado (no
suministrado). Gire el interruptor selector de modo
(15) a Aux, el LED de modo (14) cambiará a violeta.
2. Puede controlar el nivel de volumen usando los
controles de volumen del altavoz (10 y 11) (o una
combinación de los controles del altavoz y los
controles de volumen del dispositivo auxiliar).
Utilice todas las demás funciones del dispositivo
auxiliar como de costumbre.
Entrada auxiliar
Si desea escuchar en privado el altavoz independiente
puede utilizar la toma de auriculares (18).
NOTA: La reproducción prolongada con un volumen
muy alto puede dañar su audición.
Utilice auriculares (no suministrados) con la debida
precaución, ajuste el volumen inicialmente en un
nivel bajo cuando escuche y aumente poco a poco.
Uso de los auriculares
Puede reproducir la salida de su sistema de
tocadiscos a través de un amplificador o sistema
Hi-Fi estéreo externo conectando las tomas RCA/
Fono LINE-OUT (22) a las tomas de entrada auxiliar
de su estéreo o amplificador con cables RCA/Fono
(no incluidos). NOTA: Para ajustar el volumen, utilice
los controles del sistema externo.

Ne pas placer cet appareil sur des étagères sans une bonne ventilation. La
