Caring for your Stylus N10
Important safety information. Please read these instructions
fully before operating your Stylus N10.

user-serviceable parts.
If the unit is damaged in any way or malfunctions do not use.
Always use the power adaptor supplied; if you need to replace
it, make sure the replacement is of high quality and has the
same power rating (12V𝌂2A).
Please dispose of this electronic item appropriately. Do not
discard to unsorted household waste at the end of its life.
Take it to a collection centre for the recycling of electrical
equipment. Please check with your local authority for
recycling advice.

1. Getting Started
Ensure your Stylus N10 is placed on a stable, level
surface. Remove all packaging from your turntable,
ensuring care when removing parts from the
counterweight and tonearm.
Remove the protective stylus guard from the tonearm
cartridge by gently removing the band, and gently pulling
the guard forwards.
Please Note
The tonearm counterweight has been preset for the

vinyl when you start playing records, you may need to
adjust the counterweight, see page 17.

1.2. Hook the belt around the drive pulley making sure
it is not twisted.
1.3. Rotate the platter slowly 10 times in a clockwise
direction to seat the belt properly and to make sure it runs
smoothly.
1.4. Place the felt mat on top of the platter.

2. Using Powered External
Speakers
The Stylus N10 can be used with the built-in speakers or
connected to powered external speakers using the RCA/
phono sockets (20) on the back of your turntable using
the RCA/phono cable supplied.
When using an powered external speaker ensure the
PHONO/LINE OUT switch is set to LINE OUT as this

2.1. Using Stylus’s Built-In Speakers
When listening through Stylus’s built-in speakers ensure
the PHONO/LINE OUT switch is set to PHONO as this

3. Powering Your Stylus N10
To power your Stylus N10, insert the jack plug into the DC
12V IN port (21) on the back of the Stylus N10 and plug
the power adaptor (supplied) into a powered wall socket.
Switch the ON/OFF power switch to ON to power your
turntable, the LED will light when the turntable has power.

3.1. Eco Auto Power Off
To save energy your Stylus N10 will
automatically power off if there is no audio
input for 60 minutes.
To reactivate the turntable, switch the ON/OFF switch
to OFF, then ON again. The LED will light to indicate
that power has been restored.

4. Playing a Vinyl Record
Auto Stop Dial*
Some records may have an auto stop area outside of the
pre-set limit, so the turntable stops before the last track

This will allow the record to play to the end. Please note
that the turntable will not stop automatically. When your

5. Bluetooth Function
Turn the speed selector/mode dial to BT. The LED
pairing mode.

Your Stylus N10 will automatically search for the last
connected device. Connect a compatible device as
shown below.

When your device is connected you will hear a chime and
the LED will be a steady blue. You don’t need to re-pair.
The Stylus N10 will automatically reconnect with your
device when they are in range and both are turned on.
To disconnect your device, you will need to do this via
your device’s menu. You will hear a chime when your
device has been disconnected successfully and the LED
new device.
Use the volume dial to control the volume. You can also
use your device to change the volume. Adjust the volume
on both your device and the Stylus N10 for optimum
sound. Use your device for all other playback options.

6. AUX IN Function
Connect any audio device to the 3.5mm AUX IN port
on the back of your Stylus N10. The LED will be purple.
Connecting a device to the AUX IN port will override all
other modes/functions.

Use your device to control and select audio and use a
combination of the volume on your device and the Stylus
N10 to adjust for optimum sound.
When you remove your device from the AUX IN port your
Stylus N10 will return to the previous mode it was in; 33

7. Counterweight and Tracking
Force Adjustment
The tonearm counterweight has been preset for the

Rotate the counterweight backwards and forwards so that
the tonearm hangs level in a neutral balanced position.
The tonearm when moved up and down should now
return to this position.

7. 5 . Hold the counterweight still and rotate the tracking
force dial separately so that the ‘0’ lines up with the line on
the tonearm.
7.6 . Check the balance is still neutral using the space
between the tonearm rest and the platter as before.
7.7. Return the tonearm to the rest. Now rotate the
counterweight and tracking force dial together counter-
clockwise (left) to 3.5g – the recommend tracking force

8. Caring for Your Stylus N10
See page 3 for general tips for cleaning your Stylus N10
and records. The stylus will also need cleaning irregularly
only (not supplied). To clean the stylus tip, move the stylus
brush from the back to the front.

9. Replacing the Stylus
It is recommended to replace the stylus after 1,000 hours
of playing time or if it is damaged.
9.1. Switch off your Stylus N10 and disconnect
from the mains.

9.2. When removing the old stylus, hold the stylus
headshell and cartridge tightly. Pull the old stylus towards
you and gently pull downwards to remove.
9.3. Slot the new stylus into the cartridge, then push
upwards until it clicks in place.
