Wall Mount Instructions

Please follow the length and width in picture 1, and then use marker pen to mark the drilling
location. is the correct security installation is NOT correct positioning for wall installations.
Please use 6mm drill head, drill holes with a depth of 35-40mm according to the marked place.
Plug the holes with included plastic anchor and use a hammer to knock the open end of the
anchor until it‟s flush with the wall.
Align the metal mounting plate holes with each anchor and use the screws to secure the
mounting kit to the wall. NOTE: Mount the kit with the AP Connector facing out.
Line up each of the AP Connectors with the complimentary hooks on the rear of the AP and then
pull the AP down until it securely seats into the mounting kit.

Equipment Installation
1. Before installation, installation personnel must take the necessary safety measures to ensure
personal safety
2. Do not place AP and included components on walkways to avoid damage
3. Support walls and ceilings must be confirmed to handle AP prior to final installation
4. Your Installation may require some of the tools listed on the below picture.(Tools are not included)

You must plug in the Ethernet cable prior to completing step 5 or you will not be able to do afterwards.

Ceiling Mount Instructions
Access the ceiling and use 4mm drill to open two hole on ceiling. The distance between two
hole is 40mm.
Use the locking slide to join together the mounting plate and the ceiling. Mounting plate and
locking slide will be on opposite sides of ceiling after securing them together with the screw.
Secure the mounting holes on the back of the AP onto the mounting plate AP Connectors
and then pull the AP slowly until the AP is securely in place.

To ceiling mount an AP you can use the included screws which are 30mm long and suitable for 15 mm
thick ceilings. However, for thicker ceilings, customers will need to provide their own longer screws.

T-keel installation
Connect the M4 screw through the sliding lock‟s hole as in the picture above, leaving a 3~5 mm space.
Attach the mounting kit‟s card slot onto the card slot of the keel.
Put the screw of sliding lock (as assembled in image 1) through hoist hole of the mounting plate and adjust
the position of sliding lock to the other side of keel.
Finally, tighten the screws so that the mounting kit is securely mounted in the T-keel.
Secure the matching mounting holes behind of AP onto the AP Connectors on the mounting plate and
then pull the AP slowly slide to lock the unit in place.

Ceiling mounting requires BOTH the Mounting Plate as well as the Locking Slide included in the
packaging. The Locking Slide allows the unit to be secured from both sides of the ceiling structure.
For a T-keel Installation you must use BOTH Locking Slide and Mounting Plate for a secure and safe install.

Getting Started: ICX Series Access Points
If using as a stand-alone access point, network administrators can utilize a simple-to-configure
web Graphical User Interface (GUI) to manage and maintain each FAT AP on their network. The
GUI allows the management of a variety of features designed to ensure an efficient working
environment for SMB users. The visual nature of the interface allows the IT administrator to easily
manage and maintain the network devices. The physical method for connecting to the access point
on the network is demonstrated in the below figure.
Login Web Network Management
The default Web login process and details are identified below. While the steps are simple, a user
must understand how networks operate, the use of IP address, and general networking theory.
The default Web login information includes:
User name: admin
Password: admin
IP address of the device: 192.168.1.10

PC IP Network Device
The steps to login:
1. Connect the device to PC
a) Use the Ethernet cable to connect PC to
the Ethernet port of the device.
2. Configure the IP address for the PC and ensure
that it can communicate with the device.
a) For example: modify the IP address to
192.168.1.0/24. Launch a web browser
and input the login information.
3. Launch the browser on PC, and input
“http://192.168.1.10” in the address bar, press
enter.
4. At the web login page, enter the user name of
„admin‟ and the password is ‟admin‟ by default.
Click “login” to login.
Quit Web Network Management
Click the “log off” button on the upper right corner on the Web network management page to quit and
exit.
Introduction to the icXchange®Web Management
Web network management page includes: navigation bar, configuration area and help area. The
main navigation page allows the user to view all configuration options available for the ICX200WAP.
