The built-in full-charge detector circuit prevents
over-charging. Rapid charging
stopswhen a battery
pack reaches

trickle
charging
keeps
the
battery
pack

BATTERY
MEMORY
EFFECT:
The full charge
capacity
of Nicd rechargeable
bat-
teries
may
be
reduced
if repeatedly
charged
withonly
partial
discharge
periods.This
is
called
thebattery
memory
effect. lf the battery
capacity
seems
lower
than
new,
discharge
the battery
pack
through
normal
use,
then
charge
fully
using
the
proper
charger. I

MALFUNCTIONS:

after 2 hrs. charging,the battery pack may need
checking.
In that case,the battery pack should be checked by an
authorized lcom Dealeror Service
Center. We recom-
mend that you have the desktop charger
and the AC
adapter
checked,too.
