1 DESCRI TION OF THE MEASURING
INSTRUMENT
This section escribes the scope of elivery, connec-
tions, keys an the isplay of the measuring instru-
ment.
1.1 Measuring instrument case

• 2 ISDS pressure sensors with 2.5 m cable

1.2 Measuring instrument
The MultiHan y 2025 is a ual-channel measuring in-
strument which provi es the user with all functions
nee e for professional an challenging metrology.
The measuring instrument is operate via 4 function
keys an a menu key.
You can connect the measuring instrument to a PC
an charge it using the USB interface. We recom-
men the HYDROlink6 software for ownloa ing the
measurement ata. Alternatively, you can use the
HYDROcom6 software.
Note
This Quick Gui e is a supplement to the Operating
Instructions an is not a replacement for these.

manufacturer's website

software.

The isplay shows measurement values, menu en-
tries, status icons an function key icons.
The measuring instrument shows the current meas-
urement values by efault.
[F1]
/ switches to the
min./max. measurement values.
If
[F4]
shows the lamp icon , the isplay illumina-
tion is switche on or off. Hol ing own the key
switches off the instrument.
[MENU]
isplays the main menu.

Switches instrument on.

2 START-U
2.1 Charging measuring instrument
The batteries of the measuring instrument must be
charge before it is switche on for the first time.
How to charge the measuring instrument
1Remove the battery protective strips from the bat-
tery compartment.
2Connect the country a apter for the respective
country to the USB power supply.
3Connect the USB cable to the power supply.
4Plug the power supply into a socket.
5Connect the USB cable to the measuring instru-
ment.
6Let the measuring instrument battery charge unin-
terrupte for 12 hours.
7Remove the USB cable from the measuring in-
strument.
8Remove the power supply from the socket.
2.2 Basic settings
After you have charge the measuring instrument,
you can switch it on. When you switch on the measur-
ing instrument for the first time, you are requeste to
efine the basic settings.
How to efine the basic settings

to switch on the measuring instrument.
2Use
[F1]
or
[F2]
to select the esire menu lan-
guage.
Save your entry by pressing
[F4]
.
3Confirm your selection with
[F ]
.

to select your esire units of measure-
ment.

an serial number of the measuring instrument.
The isplay then shows the calibration notice.

3 HYDROCENTER
HYDROcenter is a program for Win ows.
HYDROcenter is your centre for all instruments an
software from HYDROTECHNIK.
Install HYDROcenter to receive automatic up ates for
your measuring instrument as well as other software
(e.g. HYDROlink6).
System requirements
You nee a PC or notebook with Internet connection
an an operating system of Win ows 7 or higher.
This is how you install the HYDROcenter software
1Enter the following text into the a ress bar of
your Internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer):
http://hydrotechnik.com/hydrocenter
2Follow the instructions isplaye there.
The installation file will be ownloa e .
3Run the installation file.
Confirm the confirmation prompts if applicable.
4Follow the installation instructions.
The installation is complete when the link is is-
playe on the esktop.
How to connect your measuring instrument to
HYDROcenter
1Connect the USB cable to the USB interface of the
measuring instrument.
2Connect the other en of the USB cable to your
PC or notebook.
3Switch the measuring instrument on by pressing
[F4]
.
4Start the HYDROcenter program.
HYDROcenter etects the connecte measuring
instrument an offers suitable ownloa s.
How to open the Operating Instructions
1Click on the ownloa icon next to the
Manual
entry.
When the Operating Instructions are one own-
loa ing, it changes to the icon.
2Click on the open icon .
The Operating Instructions are opene in your
PDF viewer.
You can save the Operating Instructions on your
PC or notebook.

4 MEASUREMENT
You can begin measurement imme iately after start-
ing up the measuring instrument.
4.1 Measurement with ISDS sensors
How to perform measurements
1Fin the MINIMESS testing point on your hy rau-
lic system.
Remove the protective caps from the MINIMESS
testing points you want to use to make measure-
ments.
2Connect the ISDS sensors to the measuring in-
strument with the instrument switche off.
3Connect the ISDS sensors with the MINIMESS i-
rect connections.
If necessary, remove the protective plastic cover-
ing from the MINIMESS irect connections.
Only tighten the threa manually. Do not use a
tool.
4Connect the MINIMESS irect connections of the
ISDS sensors to the selecte MINIMESS testing
points.
5Switch the measuring instrument on by pressing
[F4]
.
If applicable, use
[F4]
to confirm the calibration
notice.
The ISDS sensors are etecte by the measuring
instrument. The isplay shows the current meas-
urement values.

Zero a justment
Press
[F2]
to execute a zero a justment. The current
measurement values are set to zero.
Observe the following rules:
• Zero a justment is applie to all isplaye chan-
nels.
• Zero a justment cannot be un one.
• Zero a justment is only eactivate when you
switch off the measuring instrument.
• For safety reasons, a zero a justment can only be
execute up to values of 1% of the maximum
measurement range.
With larger values, the isplay shows co e

an the maximum permissible values.
• A zero a justment cannot be execute for chan-
nels showing a frequency.
• Measurement values are set to zero for channels
configure as counters.

Min./max. Display
Pressing

switches to min./max. isplay or back
to the current measurement values.
Pressing
[F2]
eletes the min./max. memory. The is-
play imme iately shows the current min./max. meas-
urement values.
4.2 Recor ing an eleting measurement
series
You can save up to five measurement series. You can
assess an save measurement series with the
HYDROlink6 software.
If you have alrea y save five measurement values in
the measuring instrument, you must elete measure-
ment series before you can save new measurement
series.
How to save a measurement series

The isplay shows a progress bar on the right
si e.

to isplay the current memory status.
The isplay automatically switches back after

cally en s after 60,000 measurement points.
