Dear customer, please note the following information about the compatibility of USB
Type-A hubs and adapters, including this device!
The IB-HUB1423CR-U3 also works with computers and notebooks with USB 3.0/ 2.0/1.1
Type-C® interfaces if the appropriate adapter (ICY BOX® IB-CB003) is available.
The hub also works on devices with the USB 3.1 (Gen2) interface with the transfer rate of 5
Gbit/s specified by USB 3.0.
A USB interface can be connected with USB 2.0 standard in some notebooks and comput-
ers. The hub only supplies the full speed of 5 Gbit/s to USB 3.0 interfaces.

Description:
Modern notebooks usually have less ports and no card readers. The IB-HUB1423CR-U3
has the most important ports on board, so that the familiar use of notebooks and computers
is still easy.

Application
1. Plug the IB-HUB1423CR-U3 into the Type-A port of your host computer.
2. After the IB-HUB1423CR-U3 has been plugged in correctly the LED will turn on
blue!
3. The operating system will set up the USB device automatically and is ready for
operation in a few seconds when used for the first time.
4. Connect your USB Type-C®, Type-A devices and supported memory cards* to
the appropriate ports.
Note:
*SD card
Insert the SD card into the SD card slot with the beveled corner first. The golden pins of the
card must point upwards (if the ICY BOX®logo is visible).
*microSD card
Insert the microSD card into the microSD card slot with the beveled corner first. The golden
pins of the card must point downwards (if the ICY BOX®logo is visible).

Ihr Hostcomputer muss über eine USB Type-A-Schnittstelle verfügen.
Der IB-HUB1423CR-U3 funktioniert auch mit Computern und Notebooks mit USB
3.0/2.0/1.1 Type-C® Schnittstellen, wenn der entsprechende Adapter (ICY BOX®

Der Hub funktioniert auch an Geräten mit der Schnittstelle USB 3.1 (Gen 2) mit der von

Anwendung:

3. Das Betriebssystem richtet das USB Gerät automatisch ein und ist bei Erstbenutzu-
ng in wenigen Sekunden betriebsbereit.
4. Verbinden Sie Ihre USB Type-C®, Type-A Geräte und Speicherkarten* mit den
entsprechenden Anschlüssen.
