DASH DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove (2) T20 Torx screws below the rubber tray at the
top of the dash (Fig. 1.1).
2. Remove the rubber tray liner on the passenger side of the
radio bezel. Remove (1) T20 Torx screw (Fig. 1.1).
3. For models with a center console: remove the front, center,
and rear rubber liners from bottom of the center console,
then remove (5) phillips screws. Unclip and remove the
center console (Fig. 1.2).
4. Unclip and remove the radio bezel (Fig. 1.3).
5. Remove (4) 7mm screws securing the OEM radio. Unplug
and remove the radio (Fig. 1.4).
6. Cut the rear support to make space for the aftermarket
radio (Fig. 1.5).
7. Remove (13) Phillips screws securing the radio and climate
bezel, then remove it. Save the screws for re-assembly (Fig.
1.6).
8. Remove (5) torx screws securing the back cover of the AC
controls. Set these parts aside for re-installation on the
KIT-RAM1.
9. Using a pick tool, gently unclip (3) clips securing the tune
and volume knobs. Rotate the knob to get access to each
clip, then gently pull out to remove the knob.
10. Remove the AC control panel from the radio bezel.
DASH KIT ASSEMBLY
11. Re-install the AC controls on the KIT-RAM1, then re-install
the volume and tune knobs.
12. Re-install the cover on the AC controls and secure them
with the (5) torx screws removed during disassembly.
13. Attach the supplied metal brackets to the plastic trim ring,
using (2) phillips screws on each side (Fig. 2.1).
14. Snap the trim ring and brackets to the back of the RAM1
bezel. Line up the radio to the desired depth, attach the
radio to the metal brackets, then remove the radio and trim
ring from the bezel (Fig. 2.2).
15. Install the KIT-RAM1 to the OEM radio bezel and secure it
using (13) Phillips screws removed during disassembly.

MAKE CONNECTIONS (refer to wiring diagram)
STEP 1
• Unbox the aftermarket radio and locate its main harness.
• Connect the wires shown on the next page from
aftermarket radio main harness to the RAM1 T-harness
and match the wire functions.
STEP 2
• Determine if the vehicle has a factory amplifier. Look for
badges on the radio, door panels and dash that indicate the
presence of an amplifier (ex: Alpine).
If the vehicle DOES NOT have a factory amplifier:
• Plug the female GREEN connector to the male GREEN
connector of your RAM1 T-harness.
• Plug the female WHITE connector to the male WHITE
connector of your RAM1 T-harness.
If the vehicle DOES have a factory amplifier:
• Plug the female GREEN connector to the male WHITE
connector of your RAM1 T-harness.
• Plug the female WHITE connector to the male GREEN
connector of your RAM1 T-harness.
STEP 3
• Connect the factory harness to the RAM1 T-harness.
STEP 4
• Plug the aftermarket radio harnesses into the aftermarket
radio.
• Plug the antenna adapter into the aftermarket radio.
• Connect the backup camera and cargo camera RCAs to the
radio (if equipped). If the radio has a front camera input,
the cargo camera can be connected there. If it doesn’t, the
cargo camera can be plugged into an AV input.
• Plug the Data cable to the data port of the aftermarket
radio.
• Insert the Audio cable into the iDatalink 3.5 mm audio jack
of the aftermarket radio. (If there is no iDatalink audio
input, connect to AUX).
Note: On Pioneer radio, ensure that there is nothing
plugged into the W/R port.
If the vehicle is equipped with parking sensors AND using
an Alpine radio: plug Audio cable in auxiliary input of the
radio.
STEP 5
• Connect all the harnesses to the Maestro RR module.
If the vehicle is equipped with OEM parking assist, lane
departure, or other safety systems, the ACC-SP1 is
required: Plug the ACC-SP1 in to the Maestro RR.
If you are not using this speaker, the radio will mute when
the parking assist is active. If you are using this speaker,
the parking assist chimes will play through the external
speaker and the radio will not mute unless the settings are
changed in the radio.
STEP 6
• Install the aftermarket radio and RAM1 kit into the dash,
then test your installation.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
Gauges do not work, radio shows OBD2 Error 1 or Error 2. Ensure the 2-pin black plugs on the RAM1 harness are connected as shown
in step 2 of the guide.
Reset the RR.
Phone call audio isn’t audible Ensure that the 4-pin green and white connectors in the harness are plugged
in correctly as stated in step 2.
The light on the Maestro is flashing RED ONCE. There is no firmware on the module; flash the RR module.
The light on the Maestro is blinking RED TWICE. Ensure the 4-pin data cable is connected between the radio and the RR, and
that it is plugged into the black port on the Maestro RR. The red and blue
ports on the RR should be empty.
Make sure the correct radio model and serial number were entered during
the flash. Verify the radio’s serial number entered during the flash matches
what is listed on the radio screen. This can be found in the settings of the
radio, listed as Device Id, Device Number, or Serial Number.
MAESTRO RR RESET PROCEDURE:
Turn the key to the OFF position, then disconnect all connectors from the module.
Press and hold the module’s programming button and connect all the connectors back to the module. Wait, the module’s LED will flash RED rapidly (this may
take up to 10 seconds).
Release the programming button. Wait, the LED will turn solid GREEN for 2 seconds to show the reset was successful.

radio.
• Plug the antenna adapter into the aftermarket radio.
• Connect the backup camera and cargo camera RCAs to the
radio (if equipped). If the radio has a front camera input,
the cargo camera can be connected there. If it doesn’t, the
cargo camera can be plugged into an AV input.
• Plug the Data cable to the data port of the aftermarket
radio.
• Insert the Audio cable into the iDatalink 3.5 mm audio jack
of the aftermarket radio. (If there is no iDatalink audio
input, connect to AUX).

DASH DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove (2) T20 Torx screws below the rubber tray at the
top of the dash (Fig. 1.1).
2. Remove the rubber tray liner on the passenger side of the
radio bezel. Remove (1) T20 Torx screw (Fig. 1.1).
3. For models with a center console: remove the front, center,
and rear rubber liners from bottom of the center console,
then remove (5) phillips screws. Unclip and remove the
center console (Fig. 1.2).
4. Unclip and remove the radio bezel (Fig. 1.3).
5. Remove (4) 7mm screws securing the OEM radio. Unplug
and remove the radio (Fig. 1.4).
6. Cut the rear support to make space for the aftermarket
radio (Fig. 1.5).
7. Remove (13) Phillips screws securing the radio and climate
bezel, then remove it. Save the screws for re-assembly (Fig.
1.6).
8. Remove (5) torx screws securing the back cover of the AC
controls. Set these parts aside for re-installation on the
KIT-RAM1.
9. Using a pick tool, gently unclip (3) clips securing the tune
and volume knobs. Rotate the knob to get access to each
clip, then gently pull out to remove the knob.
10. Remove the AC control panel from the radio bezel.
DASH KIT ASSEMBLY
11. Re-install the AC controls on the KIT-RAM1, then re-install
the volume and tune knobs.
12. Re-install the cover on the AC controls and secure them
with the (5) torx screws removed during disassembly.
13. Attach the supplied metal brackets to the plastic trim ring,
using (2) phillips screws on each side (Fig. 2.1).
14. Snap the trim ring and brackets to the back of the RAM1
bezel. Line up the radio to the desired depth, attach the
radio to the metal brackets, then remove the radio and trim
ring from the bezel (Fig. 2.2).
15. Install the KIT-RAM1 to the OEM radio bezel and secure it
using (13) Phillips screws removed during disassembly.

MAKE CONNECTIONS (refer to wiring diagram)
STEP 1
• Unbox the aftermarket radio and locate its main harness.
• Connect the wires shown on the next page from
aftermarket radio main harness to the RAM1 T-harness
and match the wire functions.
STEP 2
• Determine if the vehicle has a factory amplifier. Look for
badges on the radio, door panels and dash that indicate the
presence of an amplifier (ex: Alpine).
If the vehicle DOES NOT have a factory amplifier:
• Plug the female GREEN connector to the male GREEN
connector of your RAM1 T-harness.
• Plug the female WHITE connector to the male WHITE
connector of your RAM1 T-harness.
If the vehicle DOES have a factory amplifier:
• Plug the female GREEN connector to the male WHITE
connector of your RAM1 T-harness.
• Plug the female WHITE connector to the male GREEN
connector of your RAM1 T-harness.
STEP 3
• Connect the factory harness to the RAM1 T-harness.
STEP 4
• Connect the supplied harness to the RAM1 t-harness and
plug into any spot at the vehicle’s CAN junction, located in
the driver’s side dash.
STEP 5
• Plug the aftermarket radio harnesses into the aftermarket
radio.
• Plug the antenna adapter into the aftermarket radio.
• Connect the backup camera and cargo camera RCAs to the
radio (if equipped). If the radio has a front camera input,
the cargo camera can be connected there. If it doesn’t, the
cargo camera can be plugged into an AV input.
• Plug the Data cable to the data port of the aftermarket
radio.
• Insert the Audio cable into the iDatalink 3.5 mm audio jack
of the aftermarket radio. (If there is no iDatalink audio
input, connect to AUX).
Note: On Pioneer radio, ensure that there is nothing
plugged into the W/R port.
If the vehicle is equipped with parking sensors AND using
an Alpine radio: plug Audio cable in auxiliary input of the
radio.
STEP 6
• Connect all the harnesses to the Maestro RR module.
If the vehicle is equipped with OEM parking assist, lane
departure, or other safety systems, the ACC-SP1 is
required: Plug the ACC-SP1 in to the Maestro RR.
If you are not using this speaker, the radio will mute when
the parking assist is active. If you are using this speaker,
the parking assist chimes will play through the external
speaker and the radio will not mute unless the settings are
changed in the radio.
STEP 7
• Install the aftermarket radio and RAM1 kit into the dash,
then test your installation.
