design quad copter (350 size); with integrated camera and 5.8 G wireless
video transmitter and receiver (available on certain models). All Apollo
quads are tested completely before they leave the factory. Integrated
autopilot module including GPS, is easy to operate and simple maintenance,
the only thing you need to do after purchase of an Apollo is a simple Compass
calibration, installation of Landing gear, and Gimbal if desired before
flight.
Specs and functions
1. newest IFLYV4M controller
2. GPS and Compass
3. 6 or 7 channel receiver
4. 5.8G wireless video transmitter and
receiver with mini camera (only on specific
models)
5. Low noise ESC
6. Highly efficient brushless motor
7. 5V/3AUBEC and highlight LED pilot
lights
8. USB debug interface
9. Auto-balanced, height hold, and GPS 3
types of flight mode.
10. Failsafe –Control loss, auto return to
home
11. Low voltage auto landing
12. 2 axis camera mount

6
Transmitter:
Apollo transmitter is unique,it will not work with other manufacturer receivers or transmitters.
Transmitter requires batteries (purchased separately), please install before set-up.
A 6 or 7 channel transmitter is used to control Pitch, Roll, heading, height, flight mode and camera
mount 7 channel included with the (A2 ver).
Power supply:
1. Apollo can only use 2200mah/3s battery, other size batteries can’t be mounted in the body.
2. Please turn on the transmitter before connecting the battery.
3. After connect the battery, the quad requires a 10 second for Gyro resetting, please keep the
quad still and Level during this time.
Starting Up:
Moving the throttle stick will not start the motors, to start the quad you need to carry out the
following steps:
1. Move the throttle stick to the lowest position
2. (while at lowest throttle position) Move the rudder to the most left position
3. Propellers will start to rotate at a low speed
4. Release the rudder from full left position once motor’s start to avoid the quad rotating on the
ground.
5. If the throttle is not moved from the lowest position within 5 seconds, the motors will shut down
automatically. (Failsafe function)
mode 1 throttle stick on
r i g h t h a n d
mode 2 throttle stick on
l e f t h a n d

7
Shut down:
The system will shut down motor function automatically in 5 seconds if the throttle stick is moved
to the lowest position, or you carry out the following action:
1. Move the throttle stick to the lowest position
2. Move the rudder stick fully to the right
mode 1 throttle stick on right
hand
mode 2 throttle stick on left
hand
Compass calibration:
Please calibrate the compass if it is the first time use of this quad, or you are flying in a different area.
(City or state)
Please reference “IFLY-V4M Manual.”
Magnetic compensation:
You need to carry out the magnetic bias compensation because the global magnetic
bias is all different from place to place. This is accomplished with the Compass
calibration
Please reference “IFLY-V4M Manual.”

8
Gyro reset:
The center point of the Gyro will drift due to changes of the temperature or
other outside factors, the quad will lean on one side after the quad takes off.
You can reset the Gyro by carrying out the following actions:
1. Power on the quad (connect the battery)
2. Put the quad on level ground and keep it still (no movement).
3. Move the throttle stick to the highest position.
4. Then move the rudder
stick to the right
position.
5. Hold the position till the led on the bottom blinks red.
6. release the throttle/rudder sticks
7. Reset complete
mode 1 throttle stick on right
hand
mode 2 throttle stick on left
hand

9
Propeller installation and rotation direction
Please install the propellers as per the following screenshot, or the propeller will
not rotate correctly and the quad will not fly.
Propeller direction and the position of the ESC:
Motors: 1 and 3 clockwise
2 and 4 counter clockwise

10
Flight modes
Apollo flight modes support, ACRO , Balance, Height hold, GPS, and RTH 3 of flight modes can be
set to the 3 position switch at one time. The flight modes can be switched with the 3 position switch
on the transmitter,Please reference “IFLY-V4M Manual.”
Mode Status indicator
Apollo current mode status can be recognition by the bright LED on the bottom, about the LED status
instruction. Please reference “IFLY-V4M Manual.”
Failsafe control - Return to home (Loss of
control)
The quad will fly back over the place where it take off automatically, then land and shut down
automatically If the quad is out of control.
The process of the return to home:
1. The quad will climb to 10 meters (distance from the quad to the ground) automatically, and then
start to fly back to where it took off. (The position where the motors were started)
2. The quad will hover for about 5 seconds when it is back over the place where it took off.
3. The quad will Land automatically after hovering.
4. The quad will shut the motors down after landing.

11
Before first flight!
Ready to fly
1. Put the quad on the ground, connect the battery.
2. Please keep the quad still for at least 10 seconds.
3. Please notice which flight mode is selected, you must start up the quad in balance mode.
4. After starting the quad copter, increase the throttle slowly.
5. Move all stick’s on the transmitter and check if is moving in correlation to the stick movement.
6. If all stick movements are normal, you can try to flight at low altitude.
Low voltage
1. To make sure for safe flight, we suggest you connect an external voltage alarm on the battery.
2. Please land the quad if the low voltage alarm starts, or it may cause the quad to turn over onto
one side and crash.
3. If the height hold or GPS mode is selected , the quad will reduce the height automatically and
land .
4. Please reference “IFLY-V4M Manual.” For internal low voltage alarm and settings.

12
Working Status Check!
Make sure the propellers are installed correctly ,check the stick operation on the
ground after connecting the battery (the quad power on)
Put the quad on the ground (level), put the transmitter aside the quad.
Power on the quad, press on the quad with left hand《be safe!avoid the propeller
hurting yourself》push the throttle stick slightly to 20% with your right hand.
Move the sticks for Pitch, Roll, Rotate (30% throttle value), using the left hand
(press on the quad) to feel if the quad will move on the right direction.
If the direction is wrong, please check that if the propellers are installed
correctly, check the connections between receiver and controller are correct, the
direction of the motor rotation is correct.
Catch the bottom of the quad(hold steady)with your left hand (or right hand) lift
it over your head《be safe!avoid the propeller hurting yourself》
Start up and move the throttle to 20% value with your right hand (or left hand)
Feel that if the direction (forward, backward, left, right) will lean in the correct
direction, feel if the quad will stop you from moving the quad.
If the quad doesn’t stop you from moving it, please check that if the propellers
are installed correctly, and that connections between receiver and controller are
correct, also check if direction of the motor rotation is right.
If all is normal, you can enjoy your first flight.

Warning and Caution!
Away from buildings and people
RC models are dangerous when they are working or flying. Incorrect installation, broken components,
malfunction or even slight improper operation may incur serious injury or damage. Users should
ensure the safety of the flight and stay away from crowds, and taking responsibility for any accidents.
We strongly recommend at least 100m*100m flying field without obstacles like crowds, high buildings,
high-voltage towers/lines, woods or any other similar objects, to avoid any damage(s) or injuries
caused by accidents.
Do Not Fly It Alone
Beginners should be accompanied by an experienced pilot.
Do not fly it alone no matter how experienced or not.
Simulator software available seperatly for practice is recommended.
Away From Working Parts
Do not touch any moving part, especially the rotating blades while in flight.
Keep Away From Exposure to Wet Conditions
The quad copter consists of a lot of complicated electronic components,
keep it away from exposure to wet conditions. Do not fly it in wet weather like rainy, snow,
lightning storm, fog, hail or windy(no more than moderate breeze).

14
Prevent any wet substances like water or steam from getting into the quad copter.
Keep Away From Heat or Radiation
Fuselage was made out of ultra-strength plastic, please keep it far away from heat or radiation
which may lead to fuselage aging, erosion or even melting.
