the
power supply cable away from heat sources, oil, sharp edges and
rough surfaces.
00
not pull the cable
to
remove
the
plug.

Recommendations
on
application
GENERAL
Read
the labels and instructions
on
the containers
of
the products you use.
Always use an approved breathing mask suitable
for
the particle sizes and
the substance fogged.
INDOOR
APPLICATIONS
-Remove all animals from the area
if
possible.
-Isolate the area
to
be
fogged as
far
as
possible. Close all doors and
windows. Switch
off
all air conditioning systems and fans and keep
these switched
off
for
at
least
an
hour
after
the treatment.
-For best results, keep the internal doors, drawers and cabinets in the
area
to
be
treated open. All unsealed food containers should
be
removed
or
sealed~
-Although the risk
of
explosion
is
remote, the correct procedure
requires
that
all flames, warning lamps, and
so
on
be
extinguished.
-All foodstuff, plants, surfaces
or
other objects
that
could come into
contact with the substance fogged should be removed, sealed
off
or
covered.
-
Never
leave
the
appliance unsupervised
while
it
is
operating.
-Make sure you know the application times
for
the substances and the
quantities necessary to
treat
the area in question,
as
this will make the
task easier. Walk through the area
to
be
treated slowly, taking into
account the application time, starting from the point furthest from the
exit and moving towards this. This reduces the exposure time
to
the
substance
to
the minimum.
-Always keep a minimum distance
of
1
meter
between the nozzle and
all objects. Short bursts aimed
at
a suspected
or
known contaminated
area are
an
acceptable procedure and should leave no traces
of
the
substance on the surfaces.
- 8 -

Bda
Neburotor engl.
7/02
-Leave the aerosol
to
rest
for
as
much
time
as
possible before aerating
the area treated (preferably 2-6 hours, with a minimum
limit
of
one
hour).
-Accommodate
to
the
circumstance
that
the
motor
is open and
not
suitable
to
let
pass fog
or
other
aggressive mediums!
-
An
optimum distribution rate
is
30
mi/minute
of
substance
approximately.
To
establish the application time, first determine the
total quantity
of
substance
to
be
used, in accordance with
the
following
formula:
(m
3
of
area
to
be
treated) x
(mi
substance required
for
1m
3) = ml
of
substance
ml
of
substance = distribution time in minutes
distribution in
mi/minute
OUTDOOR APPLICATIONS
Areas around homes, picnie areas, swimming pools etc. :
-The ideal results are obtained during the cooler times
of
the
day, such
as
early morning
or
evening, when insects are most active. The ideal
wind speed
is
between 5 and 10 km /
hOUL
If
the wind speed exceed
15 km / hour,
we
suggest
to
avoid fogging.
-Start
at
a point upwind
of
the area
to
be
treated and keep the nozzle
downwind
at
ehest high.
ImDortant!
All personnel exposed
to
the
aerosol should
wear
an
approved
breathing mask!

Consumption
The
NEBUROTOR
is
fitted with a flow regulator which makes use
of
a system
for
the identification
of
the adjustment pin position (notch by notch
movement), means
that
you always know exactly how much liquid
is
being
issued, from a minimum
of
15
ce
to a maximum
of
200
ce
per minute,
depending on the type and viscosity level
of
the liquid
to
be
fogged.
As
an example, in the following table contains the mean distribution results,
obtained with the pin in the various positions, using both oil and water based
substances.
Irrespective
of
the product fogged, the
NEBUROTOR
always produces an
optimum spray with drops diameters between 1
to
30 microns. Drops
of
less
than 10 microns account
for
more than 70 %
of
the
total
quantity
produces,
and those around 20 microns are less than 10 0/0. These dimensions enable
the entire spray to the reach the
treatment
area, with maximum impact on
the insects.
A spray med up
of
excessively large drops, with diameters from 100
to
500
microns, is partly dispersed before.
it
reaches the
target
and there is a waste
of
product
even-
when
it
does come into contact with the insect.
In
the same
way a spray made up
of
drops smaller than 1 micron does not come
substantially into contact with the insect targeted.·
