Using
Bluetooth:
Pairing
Your
Device
Using
the
iBT30

l . Slide
the
Power
Off/On
Switch
located on
the
back of
the
unit to
the
on position {right)
to
turn
the
unit
ON.
2.
Turn
on
your Bluetooth-enabled device and
turn
on
Bluetooth capability
as
described
in
the
device's
user
manual.
3.
Press
and
hold
the
Pairing
Button
{located
on
the
back of
the
unit)
for 2 seconds.
The
unit will
turn
on
and attempt
to
auto link to a previouslyJaired device for l 0 seconds, indicated by
the
front and back
indicator lights flashing blue.
If
a Iinke device
is
found,
the
indicator lights will
glow
solid blue.

If
no linked device
is
found,
the
unit will enter pairing mode, and
the
lights will flash blue while
the
unit attempts to pair. "iHome iBT30" should
appear
on
your device's menu.
If
"Not
Paired",
"Not
Connected" or similar message appears
on
your device, tap on "iHome iBT30" to
begin/
complete
pairing.
If
your device
asks
for a password, enter
1234
or
0000
on
the
keyboard of your device.
If
no device
is
paired within 3 minutes,
the
front and back indicator lights will flash red three times and
the
unit will revert to
its
previous state.
To
retry pairing, follow steps 1to
4.
5.
Once
paired with a device,
the
blue indicator lights will
glow
steadily and 2 confirmation
tones
will
sound.
There
should be an indication
on
your device that pairing
is
complete.
On
some devices, you
must
then
select "Use
as
Audio Device {stereo)" or similar on
the
device's Bluetooth
menu.
Once
paired,
your device should link to
the
iBT30 whenever within range.
