This function rec lls user-defined v lue settings. The user settings will rem in in
memory indefinitely nd c n be er sed by using the reset option in the m in menu.
This option llows you to choose how the monitor beh ves when power is pplied.

The VL35 is equipped with Monochrome Pe king fe tures which highlight the
desired focus re in bright, red outline. The oper tor djusts the focus control
until the red indic tor outlines on the desired re re r zor sh rp, indic ting optim l

ensuring fl wless shot exposure. As the c mer iris is djusted, the subject
of the im ge will ch nge color b sed on specific brightness v lues indic ting

The VL35 offers djust ble upper Clip Guide levels to ccur tely displ y
overexposed im ges in ny shooting condition. The oper tor simply ssigns the
upper IRE to their preference nd ny exposure over the IRE limit will fl sh in
vivid purple, indic ting only the overexposed re .
The DSLR Sc ling function will llows users to extend their DSLR c mer ’s
HDMI Video output ny option of four; Norm l, 3:2, 16:9, or Full Screen -

A gr phic l represent tion of the pixels exposed in your im ge. The left side
of the gr ph represents the bl ck s sh dows, the right side represents the
highlights or bright re s, nd the middle section is mid-tones. How high the
pe ks re ch represent the number of pixels in th t p rticul r tone. This tool
helps you chieve proper exposure.
When using 5D M rk II, this mode improves the time it t kes for the im ge to
ppe r when going into record mode from live view.
The LCD P nel in this displ y h s n tive displ y of 800x480 pixels. A sign l
of ny other resolution is sc led to fit this n tive resolution. There m y be time
when it is desired to view the incoming sign l without sc ling. En bling Pixel-
to-Pixel mode turns off the sc ling nd displ ys 800x480 pixel window of the
origin l im ge. E ch pixel of the p nel displ ys one pixel of the origin l im ge.
The user m y use the rrow buttons on the monitor to move the window left,
right, up or down to see the desired portion of the im ge.
