Safety Information

ENGLISH
Before using the appliance, read these
safety instructions. Keep them nearby for
future reference.
These instructions and the appliance itself
provide important safety warnings, to be
observed at all times. The manufacturer
declines any liability for failure to observe
these safety instructions, for inappropriate
use of the appliance or incorrect setting of
controls.
Very young children (0-3 years) should
be kept away from the appliance. Young
children (3-8 years) should be kept away
from the appliance unless continuously
supervised. Children from 8 years old and
above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge can use this
appliance only if they are supervised or
have been given instructions on safe use
and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must
not be carried out by children without
supervision. Children aged from 3 to 8
years are allowed to load and unload
refrigerating appliances.
PERMITTED USE
CAUTION: The appliance is not
intended to be operated by means of an
external switching device, such as a timer,
or separate remote controlled system.
This appliance is intended to be used
in household and similar applications
such as: sta kitchen areas in shops,
oces and other working environments;
farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels,
bed & breakfast and other residential
environments.
This appliance is not for professional
use. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
The bulb used inside the appliance
is specically designed for domestic
appliances and is not suitable for general
room lighting within the home (EC
Regulation 244/2009).
The appliance is designed for operation
in places where the ambient temperature
comes within the following ranges,
according to the climatic class given on the
rating plate. The appliance may not work
properly if it is left for a long time at a
temperature outside the specied range.
Climatic class ambient temperatures:
SN: From 10°C to 32°C;
N: From 16°C to 32°C
ST: From 16°C to 38°C;
T: From 16°C to 43°C
This appliance does not contain CFCs.
The refrigerant circuit contains R600a
(HC).
Appliances with Isobutane (R600a):
isobutane is a natural gas without
environmental impact, but is
ammable. Therefore, make sure
the refrigerant circuit pipes are not
damaged, especially when emptying
the refrigerant circuit.
WARNING: Do not damage the
appliance refrigerant circuit pipes.
WARNING: Keep ventilation openings,
in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in
structure, clear of obstruction.
WARNING: Do not use mechanical,
electric or chemical means other than
those recommended by the Manufacturer
to speed up the defrost process.
WARNING: Ice makers and/or water
dispensers not directly connected to the
water supply must be lled with potable
water only.
WARNING: Automatic ice-makers and/
or water dispensers must be connected to
a water supply that delivers potable water
only, with mains water pressure between
0,17 and 0,81 MPa (1,7 and 8,1 bar).
Do not store explosive substances such
as aerosol cans and do not place or use
gasoline or other ammable materials in
or near the appliance.

Do not swallow the contents (non-
toxic) of the ice packs (provided with some
models). Do not eat ice cubes or ice lollies
immediately after taking them out of the
freezer since they may cause cold burns.
For products designed to use an air
lter inside an accessible fan cover, the
lter must always be in position when the
appliance is in function.
Do not store glass containers with
liquids in the freezer compartment since
they may break. Do not obstruct the fan
(if included) with food items. After placing
the food check that the freezer door closes
properly.
Damaged gaskets must be replaced as
soon as possible.
Use the freezer compartment only for
storing frozen food, freezing fresh food
and making ice cubes.
Avoid storing unwrapped food in
direct contact with internal surfaces of the
freezer compartments.
C-Pentane is used as blowing agent in
the insulation foam and it is a
ammable gas.
The most appropriate compartments
of the appliance where specic types of
food are to be stored, taking into account
dierent temperature distribution in
dierent compartments in the appliance,
are as follows:
- Freezer compartment:
4 star zone (****) compartment is suitable
for freezing foodstus from ambient
temperature and for storing frozen food
as the temperature is evenly distributed
throughout the entire compartment.
Purchased frozen food has the storage
expiration date stated on the packaging.
This date takes into account the type of
food being stored and therefore this date
should be respected. Fresh food should be
stored for the following time periods: 1-3
months for cheese, shellsh, ice cream,
ham/sausage, milk, fresh liquids; 4 months
for steak or chops (beef, lamb, pork); 6
months for butter or margarine, poultry
(chicken, turkey);
8-12 months for fruits (except citrus),
roast meat (beef, pork, lamb), vegetables.
Expiration dates on the packaging of foods
in the 2-star zone must be respected.
To avoid food contamination, please
observe the following:
– Opening the door for long periods
can cause a signicant increase of the
temperature in the compartments of the
appliance.
– Regularly clean surfaces that may come
into contact with food and accessible
drainage systems.
– Clean water tanks if they have not been
used for 48 h; ush the water system
connected to a water supply if water has
not been drawn for 5 days.
– Store raw meat and sh in suitable
containers in the refrigerator, so that it
does not come into contact with or drip
onto other food.
– Two-star frozen food compartments
are suitable for storing pre-frozen food,
storing or making ice cream and ice cubes.
– Do not freeze fresh food in one, two or
three-star compartments.
– If the refrigerating appliance is left empty
for long periods, switch o, defrost, clean,
dry, and leave the door open to prevent
mould developing inside the appliance.
INSTALLATION
The appliance must be handled and
installed by two or more persons - risk of
injury. Use protective gloves to unpack and
install - risk of cuts.
Installation, including water supply (if
any), electrical connections and repairs
must be carried out by a qualied
technician. Do not repair or replace any
part of the appliance unless specically
stated in the user manual. Keep children
away from the installation site. After
unpacking the appliance, make sure that it
has not been damaged during transport.
In the event of problems, contact the
dealer or your nearest Aftersales Service.
Once installed, packaging waste (plastic,
styrofoam parts etc.) must be stored out
of reach of children - risk of suocation.
The appliance must be disconnected from
the power supply before any installation
operation - risk of electric shock.
During installation, make sure the
appliance does not damage the power
cable - risk of re or electric shock.
Only activate the appliance when the
installation has been completed.
Be careful not to damage the oors
(e.g. parquet) when moving the appliance.
Install the appliance on a oor or support
strong enough to take its weight and in a

place suitable for its size and use. Make
sure the appliance is not near a heat
source and that the four feet are stable
and resting on the oor, adjusting them
as required, and check that the appliance
is perfectly level using a spirit level. Wait
at least two hours before switching
the appliance on, to ensure that the
refrigerant circuit is fully ecient.
To guarantee adequate ventilation,
leave a space on both sides and above
the appliance. The distance between
the rear of the appliance and the wall
behind the appliance should be 50 mm, to
avoid access to hot surfaces. A reduction
of this space will increase the Energy
consumption of product.
WARNING: When positioning the
appliance, ensure the supply cord is not
trapped or damaged.
WARNING: To avoid a hazard due to
instability, positioning or xing of the
appliance must be done in accordance
with the manufacturer instructions. It’s
forbidden to place the freezer in such way
that the metal hose of gas stove, metal
gas or water pipes, or electrical wires
are in contact with the freezer back wall
(condenser coil).
To guarantee adequate ventilation,
leave a space on both sides and above
the appliance. The distance between
the rear of the appliance and the wall
behind the appliance should be 50 mm, to
avoid access to hot surfaces. A reduction
of this space will increase the Energy
consumption of product.
ELECTRICAL WARNINGS
It must be possible to disconnect
the appliance from the power supply by
unplugging it if plug is accessible, or by
a multi-pole switch installed upstream of
the socket in accordance with the wiring
rules and the appliance must be earthed in
conformity with national electrical safety
standards.
Do not use extension leads, multiple
sockets or adapters. The electrical
components must not be accessible to
the user after installation. Do not use the
appliance when you are wet or barefoot.
Do not operate this appliance if it has
a damaged power cable or plug, if it is
not working properly, or if it has been
damaged or dropped.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced with an identical one by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualied persons in order to avoid a
hazard - risk of electric shock.
WARNING: Do not locate multiple
portable socket-outlets or portable power
supplies at the rear of the appliance.

Freezer System Control A
Freezer System Control is an advanced technology that reduces
temperature uctuations in the whole freezer compartment to
minimum.
To activate/deactivate the “Freeze System Control” function press
for 3 seconds the Ibutton.
If the function is engaged and the user modify the freezer
temperature out of the working range, the function is
automatically switched o.
In case of Fast freezing is engaged, the function “Freeze System
Control” is inhibited until the Fast Freeze function switched o.
On/Stand-by C
This function turns On/Stand-by the freezer compartments.
To put the product in Stand-by, press & hold the Cbutton for
3 seconds. When the appliance is in Stand-by, the light inside
the freezer compartment does not work. Remember that this
operation does not disconnect the appliance from the power
supply. To switch the appliance On again, simply press the On/
Stand-By button .
Note: this procedure does not disconnect the appliance from
the electricity supply.
Temperature display B
The display shows the freezer compartment temperature
(between -16°C and -24°C). Recommended setting: -18°C or -20°
It is possible to set a dierent temperature with the Hbutton.
Fast Freeze D
The use of this function is recommended when placing a very
high quantity of food to be frozen in the freezer compartment.
24 hours before freezing fresh food, press the Fast Freeze button
to activate the Fast Freeze function. When activated, the Fast
Freeze indicator turns on. After 24 hours place the food to be
frozen in the freezing zone of freezer compartment.The function
is automatically disabled after 50 hours, or can be manually
disabled by pressing Fast Freeze button.
Eco function E
The Eco function enables appliance energy consumption to be
concentrated in the reduced rate hours (generally at night),
when electricity is readily available and costs less than during
the daytime (only in countries that utilise a time based multi-rate
system - check energy rates with the local electricity company).
To activate the function, press Efor 3 seconds at the reduced
rate start time (depending on the specic rates plan). For
example, if the reduced rate starts at 8 p.m., press the button
Eat that time. When the Eco indicator is ON, the function is
ON. Once the function is activated, the appliance automatically
adapts energy consumption according to the time selected, i.e.
consuming less energy during the day than at night.
IMPORTANT: To operate properly, the function must be

Daily use
Connect the appliance to the mains power supply. The ideal
temperatures for preserving food have already been set at the
factory.
To avoid food waste, please refer to the recommended setting
and storage times found in the user manual.
Note: After switching the appliance on, it will be necessary
to wait for 4 to 5 hours before a temperature suitable for a
standard appliance load is reached.
Operation of the freezer
The freezer is the ideal storage location for store frozen
food, make ice cubes and freeze fresh food in the freezer
compartment.
The maximum number of kilograms of fresh food that can be
frozen within a 24-hour period is indicated on the rating plate
(…kg/24h).
If you have a little quantity of food to store in the freezer,
we recommend to use the coldest areas of your freezer
compartment, corresponding to the upper or the middle area
The freezer can operate at ambient temperatures between
+10°C and +32°C. Optimal performance is obtained at
temperatures between +16°C and +32°C.
Switching on the freezer for the rst time
• There is no need to set the freezer temperature on
the thermostat because the appliance is already
factory set.
• Plug in the appliance. The green LED (indicating that the
appliance is ON) and the red LED will light up, and on some
models also the acoustic alarm (if provided) will sound
after about 1 minute, indicating that the freezer has not
yet reached a suciently cold temperature for storage of
foodstus.
• To mute the acoustic alarm press the door switch.
Adjusting the thermostat
Select the freezer compartment temperature Ambient air
temperature, the frequency of door opening and the amount of
food to freeze can aect the freezer temperature adjustments.
We therefore recommend starting with a medium temperature.
Door alarm
The Alarm icon lights up blinking and the acoustic alarm sounds.
The alarm is activated when the door is left open for more than
2 minutes. To disengage the door alarm close the door, or press
once Stop Alarm button Gto mute the acoustic alarm.
Freeze operation
The recommended amount of food to be frozen is indicated on
the data plate on the inside of the appliance. When putting food
in to freeze, the ideal temperature is reached.
Tips for freezing and storing fresh food
• Before freezing, wrap and seal fresh food in: aluminium
foil, cling lm, air and water-tight plastic bags, polythene
containers with lids or freezer containers suitable for freezing
fresh food.
• Food must be fresh, mature and of prime quality in order to
obtain high quality frozen food.
• Fresh vegetables and fruit should preferably be frozen
as soon as they are picked to maintain the full original
nutritional value, consistency, colour and avor.
Some meat, especially game, should be hung before it is frozen.
Note:
• Always leave hot food to cool before placing in the freezer.
• Eat fully or partially defrosted foods immediately.
Do not refreeze unless the food is cooked after it has thawed.
Once cooked, the thawed food can be refrozen.
• Do not freeze bottles with liquid.
Freezing and storing fresh food
• Place foods to be frozen in the two upper baskets.
• When the freezer is used without the rack, place the ice
packs above the food to be frozen at the front of the top
drawer.
• Load limits are determined by baskets, aps, drawers,
shelves etc. Make sure that these components can still close
easily after loading
Removing the baskets
Pull the drawers out as far as they go, then lift slightly and
remove. Pull the lower basket out fully, then rotate it slightly in
order to remove.
Note: Do not block the air outlet area (on the back wall inside
the product) with food products. If the freezer is provided with a
ap, it is possible to maximize the storage volume by removing
the ap. All shelves, aps and pull-out baskets are removable.
The internal temperatures of the appliance may be aected by
the ambient temperature, frequency of door opening, as well as
location of the appliance. Temperature setting should take into
consideration these factors.
Unless otherwise specied the appliance accessories are not
dishwasher safe.
Making ice cubes
Fill the ice cube tray up to 2/3 with water and place in the freezer
compartment.
Do not use sharp or pointed objects to detach the tray.
on during the night and day. The function remains on until
deactivated (or it is deactivated in case of a power failure or
appliance switch-o). To deactivate the function, press the
button again. When the Eco indicator is OFF, the function is OFF.
Note: The declared appliance energy consumption refers to
operation with the Eco Night function deactivated.
Black Out alarm F
After a power blackout, your product is designed to
automatically monitor the temperature in the freezer when
electricity is resupplied. If the temperature in the freezer rises
above freezing level, the Black Out indicator turns on, the Alarm
indicator blinks and the acoustical alarm sounds when electricity
is resupplied.
To reset the alarm press the Stop Alarm button just once.
In case of Black Out Alarm, the following actions are
recommended:
• If the food in the freezer is unfrozen but still cold, all the food
in the freezer should be eaten within the next 24 hours.
• If the food in the freezer is frozen, this indicates the food was
thawed and then refrozen when electricity was re-supplied
which degrades taste, quality and nutritional value and also
could be unsafe. It is recommended to not consume the food
but to dispose of the entire content of the freezer. The Black
Out Alarm is designed to provide guidance on food quality in
the freezer in the event of electricity black out. This system
does not guarantee food quality or safety and consumers are
advised to use their own judgment in evaluating food quality
in freezer compartment.

To mute the alarm buzzer press Stop Alarm button just once

Helpful hints and tips
Cleaning and maintenance
Regularly clean the appliance with a cloth and a solution of
hot water and neutral detergent specically formulated for
refrigerator interiors. Do not use abrasive cleaners or tools.
Use the tool provided to regularly clean the defrost water drain
outlet, located on the rear wall of the refrigerator compartment
near the crisper draw, in order to ensure defrost water is
removed correctly (see Fig. 1).
Before servicing or cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the
mains or disconnect the power supply.

The push in gasket allows it to be cleaned
easily, simply removing it from its place,
starting from the upper corner part as
shown, and then reinserting it using the
reverse procedure used to remove it.
Hints for energy saving
• Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than
absolutely necessary.
• Do not set temperature any colder than necessary.
• Ensure sucient air circulation and exhaust at the appliance
base and at the back wall of the appliance. Never cover air
vent openings.
• Do not place warm foods into the appliance. Allow warm
foods to cool rst.
Hints for freezing
To help you make the most of the freezing process, here are
some hints:
• The maximum quantity of food which can be frozen in 24
hours is shown on the rating plate.
• The freezing process takes 24 hours. No further food to be
frozen should be added during this period.
• Freeze only top quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned
foodstus.
• Prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and
completely frozen and to make it possible subsequently to
thaw only the quantity required.
• Wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene and make
sure that the packages are airtight.
• Do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch food which is
already frozen, thus avoiding a rise in temperature of the
latter.
• Lean foods store better and longer than fatty ones; salt
reduces the storage life of food.
• Water ices, if consumed immediately after removal from
the freezer compartment, can possibly cause the skin to be
freeze burnt.
• It is advisable to show the freezing in date on each individual
pack to enable you to keep tab of the storage time.
Hints for s torage of frozen food
To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you should:
• Make sure that the commercially frozen foodstus were
adequately stored by the retailer.
• Make sure that frozen foodstus are transferred from the
foodstore to the freezer in the shortest possible time.
• Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than
absolutely necessary.
• Once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be
refrozen.
• Do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food
manufacturer.
Defrosting the freezer
The freezer compartment is frost free. This means that there is
no build up of frost when it is in operation, neither on the
internal walls nor on the food. The absence of frost is due to
the continuous circulation of cold air inside the compartment,
driven by an automatically controlled fan.
If the appliance is not going to be used
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply, remove all the
food and clean. Leave the doors open enough for air to circulate
inside the compartments. This will prevent the formation of
mould and bad odours.
In case of power failures
Keep the doors of the appliance closed. In this way the stored
food will stay cold as long as possible. Do not refreeze partially
thawed food, consume it within 24 hours.

What to do if ...

The appliance is not working:
• Is the power cable plugged into a live socket with the proper voltage?
• Have you checked the protection devices and fuses of the electrical system
in your home?
If there is water in the defrost pan: • This is normal in hot, damp weather. The pan can even be half full. Make
sure the appliance is level so that the water does not overow.
If the edges of the appliance cabinet, which
come in contact with the door seal, are warm to
the touch:
• This is normal in hot weather and when the compressor is running.
If the light does not work:
• Have you checked the protection devices and fuses of the electrical system
in your home?
• Is the power cable plugged into a live socket with the proper voltage?
• In case the LEDs are broken the user must call the Service for exchange of
the same type available only at our After-sales Service Centers or authorized
dealers.
If the motor seems to run too much:
• Motor running time depends on dierent things: number of door openings,
amount of food stored, temperature of the room, setting of the temperature
controls.
• Is the condenser (back the appliance) free of dust and u?
• Are the door properly closed?
• Are the door seals properly tted?
• On hot days or if the room is warm, the motor naturally runs longer.
• If the appliance door has been left open for a while or if large amounts of
food have been stored, the motor will run longer in order to cool down the
interior of the appliance.
If the appliance temperature is too high:
• Are the appliance controls correctly set?
• Has a large amount of food been added to the appliance?
• Check that the door is not opened too often.
• Check that the door close properly.
If the doors do not open and close properly:
• Check that food packages are not blocking the door.
• Check that the internal parts or automatic ice maker are not out of position.
• Check that the door seals are not dirty or sticky.
• Ensure the appliance is level.
Note:
Gurgling, hissing and humming noises from the refrigerating system are
normal.
Before contacting the After-sales service:
Switch the appliance on again to see if the problem has
disappeared. If not, switch it o again and repeat the operation
after an hour.
If your appliance still does not work properly after carrying out
the checks listed in the troubleshooting guide and switching
the appliance on again, contact the After-sales service, clearly
explaining the problem and specifying:
• the type of fault;
• the model;
• the type and serial number of the appliance (given on the
rating plate);
• the Service number (the number after the word SERVICE on
the rating plate, see next page, inside the appliance).

Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging material is 100% recyclable and is marked with the
recycle symbol.
The various parts of the packaging must therefore be disposed of
responsibility and in full compliance with local authority regulations
governing waste disposal.
Scrapping of household appliances
This appliance is manufactured with recyclable or reusable
materials. Doors and lids of the refrigeration appliance should be
removed before disposal in the landll, to avoid children or animals
getting trapped inside. Dispose of it in accordance with local waste
disposal regulations. For further information on the treatment,
recovery and recycling of household electrical appliances, contact
your local authority, the collection service for household waste
or the store where you purchased the appliance. This appliance
is marked in compliance with European Directive 2012/19/EU,
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). By ensuring this
product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent negative
consequences for the environment and human health.
The symbol on the product or on the accompanying
documentation indicates that it should not be treated as domestic
waste but must be taken to an appropriate collection center for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
Energy saving tips
To guarantee adequate ventilation follow installation instructions.
Insucient ventilation on back of the product increases energy
consumption and decreases cooling eciency.
Frequent door opening might cause an increase in Energy
consumption.
The internal temperature of the appliance and the Energy
Consumption may be aected also by the ambient temperature, as
well as location of the appliance. Temperature setting should take
into consideration these factors.
Reduce to a minimum door opening.
When thawing frozen food, place them in the refrigerator.
The low temperature of the frozen products cools the food in the
refrigerator. Allow warm food and drinks to cool down before
placing in the appliance.
Positioning of the drawers, baskets and shelves in the refrigerator
has no impact on the ecient usage of energy. Food should be
placed on the shelves in such way to ensure proper air circulation
(food should not touch each other and distance between food and
rear wall should be kept).
You can increase storage capacity of frozen food by removing
baskets and, if present, Stop Frost shelve, maintaining an equivalent
energy consumption.
Do not worry of the noise coming from the compressor.
This appliance has been designed, manufactured and marketed in
compliance with:
- the safety principles of the “Low voltage” Directive 2014/35/EC;
(which replaces 2006/95/CE and subsequent amendments);
- the protection requirements of Directive “EMC” 2014/30/EU.

IKEA GUARANTEE
How long is the IKEA guarantee valid?
This guarantee is valid for ve years from the original date of
purchase of your appliance at IKEA. The original sales receipt, is
required as proof of purchase. If service work is carried out under
guarantee, this will not extend the guarantee period for the
appliance.
Who will execute the service?
IKEA service provider will provide the service through its own
service operations or authorized service partner network.
What does this guarantee cover?
The guarantee covers faults of the appliance, which have been
caused by faulty construction or material faults from the date

only. The exceptions are specied under the headline “What is
not covered under this guarantee?” Within the guarantee period,
the costs to remedy the fault e.g. repairs, parts, labour and travel
will be covered, provided that the appliance is accessible for
repair without special expenditure. On these conditions the EU
guidelines (Nr. 99/44/EG) and the respective local regulations are
applicable. Replaced parts become the property of IKEA.
What will IKEA do to correct the problem?
IKEA appointed Service Provider will examine the product and
decide, at its sole discretion, if it is covered under this guarantee.
If considered covered, IKEA Service Provider or its authorized
service partner through its own service operations, will then, at
its sole discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it
with the same or a comparable product.
What is not covered under this guarantee?
• Normal wear and tear.
• Deliberate or negligent damage, damage caused by failure
to observe operating instructions, incorrect installation or by
connection to the wrong voltage, damage caused by chemical
or electrochemical reaction, rust, corrosion or water damage
including but not limited to damage caused by excessive
lime in the water supply, damage caused by abnormal
environmental conditions.
• Consumable parts including batteries and lamps.
• Non-functional and decorative parts which do not aect
normal use of the appliance, including any scratches and
possible color dierences.
• Accidental damage caused by foreign objects or substances
and cleaning or unblocking of lters, drainage systems or
soap drawers.
• Damage to the following parts: ceramic glass, accessories,
crockery and cutlery baskets, feed and drainage pipes, seals,
lamps and lamp covers, screens, knobs, casings and parts of
casings. Unless such damages can be proved to have been
caused by production faults.
• Cases where no fault could be found during a technician’s
visit.
• Repairs not carried out by our appointed service providers
and/or an authorized service contractual partner or where
non-original parts have been used.
• Repairs caused by installation which is faulty or not according
to specication.
• The use of the appliance in a non-domestic environment i.e.
professional use.
• Transportation damages. If a customer transports the product
to his home or another address, IKEA is not liable for any
damage that may occur during transport. However, if IKEA
delivers the product to the customer’s delivery address, then
damage to the product that occurs during this delivery will be
covered by IKEA.
• Cost for carrying out the initial installation of the IKEA
appliance.
• However, if an IKEA appointed Service Provider or its
authorized service partner repairs or replaces the appliance
under the terms of this guarantee, the appointed Service
Provider or its authorized service partner will reinstall the
repaired appliance or install the replacement, if necessary.
• This does not apply within Ireland, customer should contact
the local IKEA dedicated after sales line or the appointed
Service Provider for further information.

The IKEA guarantee gives you specic legal rights, which cover

Area of validity
For appliances which are purchased in one EU country and
taken to another EU country, the services will be provided in
the framework of the guarantee conditions normal in the new

WARNUNG: Automatische Eisbereiter
und/oder Wasserspender müssen an
eine Wasserleitung angeschlossen
werden, die nur Trinkwasser mit einem
Wasserleitungsdruck zwischen 0,17 und
0,81MPa (1,7 und 8,1 bar) liefert.
Bewahren Sie keine
explosionsgefährdeten Stoe wie
Spraydosen im oder in der Nähe des
Gerätes auf. Das gleiche gilt für Benzin
und sonstige entammbare Stoe und
deren Verwendung.
Die in den Kühlakkus (bei manchen
Modellen vorhanden) enthaltene
(ungiftige) Flüssigkeit darf nicht
verschluckt werden. Verzehren Sie
Eiswürfel oder Wassereis nicht unmittelbar
nach der Entnahme aus dem Gefrierfach,
da sie Kälteverbrennungen hervorrufen
können.
Bei Produkten, die für den Gebrauch
eines Luftlters hinter einer zugänglichen
Lüfterabdeckung ausgelegt sind, muss der
Filter bei laufendem Gerät stets eingesetzt
sein.
Bewahren Sie keine Glasbehälter mit
Flüssigkeiten im Gefrierfach, sie könnten
zerbrechen. Blockieren Sie das Gebläse
(falls inbegrien) nicht mit Lebensmitteln.
Prüfen Sie nach dem Ablegen von
Lebensmitteln, ob die Gefrierschranktür
richtig schließt.
Beschädigte Dichtungen müssen so
schnell wie möglich ausgetauscht werden.
Verwenden Sie das Gefrierfach nur
zur Aufbewahrung von gefrorenen
Lebensmitteln, zum Einfrieren von frischen
Lebensmitteln und zur Herstellung von
Eiswürfeln.
Unverpackte Lebensmittel so lagern,
dass sie nicht mit den Innenwänden der
Gefrierfächer in Berührung kommen.
Das brennbare Gas C-Pentan wird als
Treibmittel im Isolierschaum
eingesetzt.
Folgende Fächer des Geräts eignen
sich am besten zur Aufbewahrung
verschiedener Arten von Lebensmitteln,
unter Berücksichtigung der
unterschiedlichen Temperaturverteilung in
verschiedenen Fächern des Geräts:
- Gefrierfach:
4 Sterne (****) Gefrierfach eignet sich zum
Einfrieren von Lebensmittel ausgehend
von Raumtemperatur und zum Lagern
von Tiefkühlkost, da die Temperatur im
gesamten Fach gleichmäßig verteilt ist.
Bei gekaufter Tiefkühlkost ist das
Haltbarkeitsdatum auf der Verpackung
angegeben. Bei diesem Datum wird
die Art des gelagerten Lebensmittels
berücksichtigt und daher sollte dieses
Datum eingehalten werden. Frische
Lebensmittel sollten für folgender
Zeiträume gelagert werden: 1-3 Monate
für Käse, Krustentiere, Eiscreme, Schinken/
Würste, Milch, frische Flüssigkeiten; 4
Monate für Steaks oder Koteletts (Rind,
Lamm, Schwein); 6 Monate für Butter oder
Margarine, Geügel (Hähnchen, Pute);
8-12 Monate bei Obst (ausgenommen
Zitrusfrüchte), Braten (Rind, Schwein,
Lamm), Gemüse. Haltbarkeitszeiten auf
der Verpackung von Lebensmitteln im
2-Stern-Fach müssen eingehalten werden.
Beachten Sie zur Vermeidung von
Lebensmittelverunreinigungen folgende
Regeln:
– Das Önen der Tür für längere Zeit kann
zu einer deutlichen Temperaturerhöhung
in den Fächern des Kühlgeräts führen.
– Reinigen Sie Oberächen, die mit
Lebensmitteln und Abwassersystemen in
Kontakt kommen können, regelmäßig.
– Reinigen Sie Wasserbehälter, wenn sie
48 Stunden lang nicht benutzt wurden;
spülen Sie das mit der Wasserversorgung
verbundene Wassersystem, wenn seit 5
Tagen kein Wasser entnommen wurde.
– Bewahren Sie rohes Fleisch und Fisch in
geeigneten Behältern im Kühlschrank auf,
damit es nicht mit anderen Lebensmitteln
in Kontakt kommt oder auf sie tropft.
– Zwei-Sterne-Gefrierfächer eignen sich
zur Aufbewahrung von tiefgekühlten
Lebensmitteln, zur Aufbewahrung oder
Herstellung von Speiseeis und Eiswürfeln.
– Frieren Sie frische Lebensmittel nicht in
Ein-, Zwei- oder Drei-Sterne-Gefrierfächern
ein.
– Wenn das Kühlgerät lange leer steht,
schalten Sie es aus, tauen Sie es ab,
reinigen und trocknen Sie es und lassen
Sie die Tür oen, um zu verhindern, dass
sich im Inneren des Geräts Schimmel
bildet.
AUFSTELLUNG
Das Gerät muss von zwei oder mehr
Personen gehandhabt und aufgestellt
werden – Verletzungsgefahr. Tragen
Sie Schutzhandschuhe zum Auspacken
und zur Installation - Risiko von
Schnittverletzungen.

Die Installation, der Wasseranschluss
(falls vorhanden), der elektrische Anschluss
und eventuelle Reparaturen dürfen
nur von einer Fachkraft durchgeführt
werden. Reparieren Sie das Gerät nicht
selbst und tauschen Sie keine Teile aus,
wenn dies von der Bedienungsanleitung
nicht ausdrücklich vorgesehen ist. Kinder
vom Installationsort fern halten. Prüfen
Sie das Gerät nach dem Auspacken auf
Transportschäden. Bei Problemen wenden
Sie sich bitte an Ihren Händler oder an
den nächsten Kundendienst. Nach der
Installation müssen Verpackungsabfälle
(Kunststo, Styroporteile usw.)
außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern
aufbewahrt werden - Erstickungsgefahr.
Das Gerät vor Installationsarbeiten
von der Stromversorgung trennen -
Stromschlaggefahr.
Während der Installation sicherstellen,
das Netzkabel nicht mit dem Gerät
selbst zu beschädigen - Brand- oder
Stromschlaggefahr. Das Gerät erst
starten, wenn die Installationsarbeiten
abgeschlossen sind.
Achten Sie beim Bewegen des Gerätes
darauf, den Boden (z.B. Parkett) nicht zu
beschädigen. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf
dem Boden oder einer für sein Gewicht
ausreichend starken Halterung auf. Der
Ort sollte der Größe und der Nutzung
des Geräts entsprechen. Sicherstellen,
dass sich das Gerät nicht in der Nähe
einer Wärmequelle bendet und dass die
vier Füße fest auf dem Boden auiegen.
Die Füße entsprechend einstellen und
mit einer Wasserwaage kontrollieren,
dass das Gerät vollkommen eben und
standfest ist. Warten Sie mindestens
zwei Stunden, bevor Sie das Gerät
einschalten, um sicherzustellen, dass
der Kältemittelkreislauf einwandfrei
funktioniert.
Um eine ausreichende Belüftung
sicherzustellen, muss an beiden Seiten
und über dem Gerät etwas Platz gelassen
werden. Der Abstand zwischen der
Rückwand des Gerätes und der Wand
hinter dem Gerät muss 50 mm betragen,
um Zugang zu heißen Oberächen zu
vermeiden. Eine Verringerung dieses
Abstands erhöht den Energieverbrauch
des Gerätes.
WARNUNG: Stellen Sie beim Aufstellen
des Geräts sicher, dass das Netzkabel nicht
eingeklemmt oder beschädigt wird.
WARNUNG: Um Gefahren aufgrund
von Instabilität zu verhindern, muss das
Gerät gemäß Herstelleranweisungen
platziert oder befestigt werden. Der
Gefrierschrank darf nicht so aufgestellt
werden, dass das Metallrohr eines
Gasherdes, Metall- bzw. Wasserrohre
oder elektrische Verkabelungen
mit der Rückwand des Gerätes in
Berührung kommen (oder mit der
Kondensatorschlange).
Um eine ausreichende Belüftung
sicherzustellen, muss an beiden Seiten
und über dem Gerät etwas Platz gelassen
werden. Der Abstand zwischen der
Rückwand des Gerätes und der Wand
hinter dem Gerät muss 50 mm betragen,
um Zugang zu heißen Oberächen zu
vermeiden. Eine Verringerung dieses
Abstands erhöht den Energieverbrauch
des Gerätes.
HINWEISE ZUR ELEKTRIK
Es muss gemäß den
Verdrahtungsregeln möglich sein, den
Netzstecker des Gerätes zu ziehen,
oder es mit einem Trennschalter,
welcher der Steckdose vorgeschaltet
ist, auszuschalten. Das Gerät muss im
Einklang mit den nationalen elektrischen
Sicherheitsbestimmungen geerdet sein.
Verwenden Sie keine
Verlängerungskabel, Mehrfachstecker
oder Adapter. Nach der Installation dürfen
Strom führende Teile für den Benutzer
nicht mehr zugänglich sein. Das Gerät
nicht bedienen, wenn Sie nasse Hände
haben oder barfuß sind. Das Gerät nicht
verwenden, wenn das Netzkabel oder
der Stecker beschädigt sind, wenn es
nicht einwandfrei funktioniert, wenn es
heruntergefallen ist oder in irgendeiner
Weise beschädigt wurde.
Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt
ist, muss es aus Sicherheitsgründen
vom Hersteller, von seinem
Kundendienstvertreter oder einer
ähnlich qualizierten Fachkraft mit
einem identischen Kabel ersetzt werden -
Stromschlaggefahr.
WARNUNG: Bringen Sie keine

Freezer System Control A
Die Freezer System Control ist eine fortschrittliche Technologie,
die Temperaturschwankungen im gesamten Gefrierfach auf ein
Minimum beschränkt.
Drücken Sie die Taste I 3Sekunden lang, um die Freezer
System Control zu aktivieren.
Wenn die Funktion eingesetzt wird und der Bediener
ändert die Gefriertemperatur auf einen Wert außerhalb des
Betriebsbereichs, wird die Funktion automatisch abgeschaltet.
Falls Schnell-einfrieren eingesetzt wird, wird die „Freeze System
Control“ unterdrückt, bis die Schnell-einfrieren-Funktion
abschaltet.
Ein/Stand-by C
Diese Funktion schaltet die Gefrierfächer ein oder in den Stand-
by-Modus. Halten Sie die Taste C3 Sekunden lang gedrückt,
um das Gerät in den Standby zu schalten. Im Stand-by-Modus
ist die Leuchte im Gefrierfach nicht aktiv. Bitte beachten Sie,
dass das Gerät im Standby-Modus weiterhin mit Strom versorgt
wird. Drücken Sie die Taste On/Stand-by, um das Gerät wieder
einzuschalten.
Hinweis: Bei diesem Vorgang wird das Gerät nicht von der
Spannungsversorgung getrennt.
Temperaturdisplay B
Das Display zeigt die Temperatur im Gefrierfach an (zwischen
-16°C und -24°C). Empfohlene Einstellung: -18°C oder -20°
Mit der Taste Hkann eine andere Temperatur eingestellt
werden.
Fast Freeze (Schnell einfrieren) D
Diese Funktion ist beim Einlagern einer größeren
Lebensmittelmenge in das Gefrierfach praktisch. Drücken Sie
24Stunden vor der Einlagerung frischer Lebensmittel die Fast
Freeze-Taste, um die Funktion Fast Freeze zu aktivieren. Die
Anzeige Fast Freeze wird bei Aktivierung eingeschaltet. Geben
Sie die einzufrierenden Lebensmittel nach 24 Stunden in den
Gefrierbereich des Gefrierfachs. Die Funktion wird nach 50
Stunden automatisch deaktiviert bzw. sie kann durch Drücken
der Taste Fast Freeze-Taste manuell deaktiviert werden.
Eco (Spareinstellung) E
Mit der Eco-Funktion verbraucht das Gerät seine Energie
hauptsächlich in den Phasen in denen günstiger Strom
verfügbar ist (meist in der Nacht), dann ist Energie vermehrt
verfügbar und kostet weniger als am Tag (dies gilt nur in
Ländern, in denen ein zeitbasiertes System mit mehreren Tarifen
im Gebrauch ist – jeweilige Stromkosten können bei Ihrem
Stromanbieter erfragt werden).
Drücken Sie zur Aktivierung der Funktion die Taste E
3 Sekunden zu Beginn des günstigeren Tarifs (je nach
Stromtarifplan). Wenn der Strom also ab 20:00 Uhr günstiger
ist, dann drücken Sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Taste E. Das
Aueuchten des Symbols Eco zeigt an, dass die Funktion aktiv
ist. ist die Funktion einmal aktiviert, passt die Funktion den
Energieverbrauch entsprechend der gewählten Zeit an, es wird
also am Tag weniger Energie verbraucht als in der Nacht.
WICHTIG: Um korrekt zu funktionieren, muss die Funktion Tag
und Nacht eingeschaltet sein. Die Funktion bleibt aktiv, bis sie

Erster Gebrauch
Täglicher Gebrauch
Das Gerät an das Stromnetz anschließen. Die idealen
Temperaturen für die Konservierung von Lebensmitteln wurden
bereits werksseitig eingestellt.
Um Lebensmittelverschwendung zu vermeiden,
beachten Sie bitte die empfohlenen Einstellungen und
Aufbewahrungszeiträume, die Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung
nden.
Hinweis: Nach dem Einschalten des Geräts müssen Sie 4 bis
5Stunden warten, bis die korrekte Lagertemperatur für ein
normal befülltes Gerät erreicht ist.
Betrieb des Gefrierschranks
Das Gefrierfach ist der ideale Ort, um Tiefkühlkost
aufzubewahren, Eiswürfel zuzubereiten und frische
Lebensmittel einzufrieren.
Die Höchstmenge an Kilogramm frischer Lebensmittel, die in
einem Zeitraum von 24 Stunden eingefroren werden kann, ist
auf dem Typenschild angegeben.
(…kg/24h). Wenn Sie nur geringe Lebensmittelmengen im
Gefrierfach aufbewahren, empfehlen wir die Verwendung des
kältesten Bereichs Ihres Gefrierfachs, der dem oberen oder
mittleren Bereich entspricht.
Der Gefrierschrank kann bei Raumtemperaturen zwischen +10
°C und +32 °C betrieben werden. Die optimale Leistung wird bei
Temperaturen zwischen +16 °C und +32 °C erzielt.
Erstmaliges Einschalten des Gefrierschranks
• Es ist nicht erforderlich, die Gefrierschranktemperatur
am Thermostat einzustellen, denn das Gerät wurde
bereits werkseitig eingestellt.
• Schließen Sie den Netzstecker an. Die grüne LED (zeigt
an, dass das Gerät EIN ist) und die rote LED leuchten auf.
Bei einigen Modellen ertönt nach etwa 1 Minute auch ein
akustischer Alarm (wenn vorhanden), um anzuzeigen, dass
der Gefrierschrank noch keine ausreichend kalte Temperatur
für die Lagerung von Lebensmitteln erreicht hat.
• Zum Abschalten des akustischen Alarms drücken Sie den
Türschalter.
Einstellen des Thermostats
Wählen Sie die Gefrierfachtemperatur. Umgebungstemperatur,
Häugkeit der Türönung und Menge der einzufrierenden
Lebensmittel können die Gefrierfachtemperatureinstellungen
beeinussen.
Wir empfehlen daher, mit einer mittleren Temperatur zu beginnen.
Türalarm
Das Alarmsymbol blinkt und der Alarmton ertönt. Der Alarm
wird aktiviert, wenn die Tür länger als 2Minuten geönet bleibt.
Schließen Sie die Tür oder drücken Sie die Taste Alarm stoppen
G, um den Alarmton auszuschalten.
Gefrierbetrieb
Die empfohlene Lebensmittelmenge zum Einfrieren ist auf dem
Typenschild im Gerät angegeben. Wenn Sie Lebensmittel zum
Einfrieren hineinlegen, wird die ideale Temperatur erreicht.
Tipps zum Einfrieren und Lagern von frischen Lebensmitteln
• Vor dem Einfrieren frische Lebensmittel unter Verwendung
von Folgendem verpacken: Alufolie, Frischhaltefolie, luft-
und wasserdichte Kunststobeutel, Kunststobehälter mit
Deckeln oder Gefrierbehälter, die zum Einfrieren frischer
Lebensmittel geeignet sind.
• Für hochwertige gefrorene Lebensmittel müssen die
Lebensmittel frisch, reif und von guter Qualität sein.
• Frisches Obst und Gemüse muss möglichst gleich nach der
Ernte eingefroren werden, um seinen vollen Nährwert, seine
Konsistenz, seine Farbe und seinen Geschmack zu erhalten.
Manche Fleischsorten, vor allem Wild, müssen vor dem
Einfrieren abgehangen werden.
Hinweis:
• Lassen Sie heiße Lebensmittel stets abkühlen, bevor Sie sie in
das Gefrierfach geben.
• Verbrauchen Sie vollständig oder teilweise aufgetaute
Lebensmittel sofort.
Frieren Sie nichts erneut ein, es sei denn, es wurde nach
dem Auftauen gegart. Falls aufgetaute Lebensmittel gekocht
werden, können sie danach wieder eingefroren werden.
• Frieren Sie keine Flaschen mit Flüssigkeiten darin ein.
Frische Lebensmittel einfrieren und lagern
• Geben Sie die einzufrierenden Lebensmittel in die oberen
zwei Körbe.
• Wird der Gefrierschrank ohne Gestell verwendet, legen Sie
die Kühlakkus über die einzufrierenden Lebensmittel an der
Vorderseite der obersten Schublade.
• Beladegrenzen werden durch Körbe, Klappen, Schubladen,
Ablageächen usw. bestimmt. Stellen Sie sicher, dass diese
Komponenten nach dem Einräumen noch einfach schließen.
Körbe entfernen
Ziehen Sie die Schubladen so weit wie möglich heraus, heben
Sie sie dann leicht an und entfernen Sie diese. Ziehen Sie den
unteren Korb vollständig heraus. Drehen Sie ihn dann leicht zum
Entfernen.
Hinweis: Blockieren Sie niemals den Luftauslass (an der
Rückseite im Gerät ) mit Lebensmitteln. Ist das Gefrierfach mit
einer Klappe ausgestattet, kann das Lagervolumen erhöht
werden, indem die Klappe herausgenommen wird. Alle
Ablageächen, Klappen und herausziehbaren Körbe lassen sich
herausnehmen. Die Innentemperaturen des Gerätes hängen
von der Raumtemperatur, der Häugkeit der Türönungen und
dem Gerätestandort ab. Bei der Temperatureinstellung sind
diese Faktoren zu berücksichtigen.
Falls nicht anderweitig angegeben, ist das Gerätezubehör nicht
zum Spülen im Geschirrspüler geeignet.
Herstellung von Eiswürfeln
Die Eiswürfelschale bis zu 2/3 mit Wasser füllen und ins
Gefrierfach stellen.
Verwenden Sie zum Lösen der Eiswürfelschale auf keinen Fall
spitze oder scharfe Gegenstände.
deaktiviert wird (oder bis sie bei Stromausfall oder Abschaltung
des Geräts deaktiviert wird). Drücken Sie die Taste erneut,
um die Funktion zu deaktivieren. Wenn die Eco-Anzeige nicht
leuchtet, ist die Funktion deaktiviert.
Hinweis: Der angegebene Energieverbrauch bezieht sich auf
den Betrieb mit deaktivierter Funktion Eco Night.
Stromausfall-Alarm F
Bei einem Stromausfall ist Ihr Gerät in der Lage, die Temperatur
im Gefrierraum nach Wiederaufnahme der Stromversorgung
automatisch zu überwachen. Steigt die Temperatur im
Gefrierraum über den Gefrierpunkt an, leuchtet das Symbol
Stromausfall auf, das Alarmsymbol blinkt und das Warnsignal
ertönt, sobald die Stromversorgung wieder einsetzt.
Zum Rücksetzen des Alarms einmal die Alarm-Stoppen-Taste
drücken. Im Falle eines Stromausfallalarms sollten folgende
Maßnahmen getroen werden:
• Verbrauchen Sie angetaute, aber noch kalte Lebensmittel aus
Gefrierfach innerhalb von 24 Stunden.
• Falls die Lebensmittel im Gefrierraum gefroren sind,
bedeutet dies, dass sie angetaut waren und nach
Wiederaufnahme der Stromversorgung wieder gefroren sind.
Dadurch werden nicht nur Geschmack, Qualität und Nährwert
der Lebensmittel verändert, sondern sie sind auch potentiell
gefährlich. Sie sollten diese Lebensmittel nicht verzehren
und den gesamten Inhalt des Gefrierfachs wegwerfen. Der
Stromausfall-Alarm liefert Ihnen Hinweise zur Qualität der
im Gefrierfach eingelagerten Lebensmittel im Falle eines
Stromausfalls. Dieses System stellt keine Garantie für die
Qualität und Unbedenklichkeit der Lebensmittel dar, sondern
weist lediglich darauf hin, dass der einwandfreie Zustand der
Lebensmittel im Gefrierfach überprüft werden muss.

Nützliche Tipps und Tricks
Reinigung und Pege
Reinigen Sie das Gerät regelmäßig mit einem Tuch und einer
Lösung aus warmem Wasser und speziellem Neutralreiniger
für Kühlschränke. Verwenden Sie keine scheuernden
Reinigungsmittel oder Werkzeuge. Verwenden Sie das
mitgelieferte Werkzeug, um die Tauwasserabussönung an
der Rückwand des Kühlfachs in der Nähe des Gemüsefachs
regelmäßig zu reinigen, um sicherzustellen, dass das Tauwasser
richtig abgeführt wird (siehe Abb. 1).
Ziehen Sie vor dem Warten oder Reinigen des Geräts den
Netzstecker oder trenne Sie die Stromversorgung.

Die Dichtung zum Hineindrücken
ermöglicht eine einfache Reinigung.
Entfernen Sie sie einfach aus ihrem Sitz,
beginnend am oberen Eckteil wie gezeigt,
und setzen Sie sie dann in umgekehrter
Reihenfolge wie beim Entfernen wieder ein.
Tipps zum Energiesparen
• Vermeiden Sie häuges Önen der Tür und lassen Sie sie
nicht länger als unbedingt erforderlich oen.
• Stellen Sie die Temperatur nicht kälter als notwendig ein.
• Stellen Sie eine ausreichende Luftzirkulation und Abluft
am Geräteboden und an der Rückwand des Geräts sicher.
Decken Sie Entlüftungsönungen nie ab.
• Stellen Sie keine warmen Lebensmittel in das Gerät. Lassen
Sie warme Lebensmittel zuerst abkühlen.
Tipps zum Einfrieren
Hier ein paar Tipps für Sie als Unterstützung für die meisten
Einfriervorgänge:
• Die Maximalmenge frischer Lebensmittel, die innerhalb
von 24 Stunden eingefroren werden kann, ist auf dem
Typenschild angegeben.
• Der Einfriervorgang dauert 24 Stunden. Während dieser Zeit
sollten keine weiteren Lebensmittel eingefroren werden.
• Frieren Sie nur hochwertige, frische und gründlich
gereinigte Lebensmittel ein.
• Bereiten Sie die Lebensmittel in kleinen Portionen zu, damit
sie schnell und vollständig eingefroren werden können und
anschließend nur die erforderliche Menge aufgetaut werden
kann.
• Packen Sie die Lebensmittel in Aluminium- oder Plastikfolie
ein und stellen Sie sicher, dass die Verpackungen luftdicht
sind.
• Sorgen Sie dafür, dass frische, nicht gefrorene Lebensmittel
nicht mit bereits gefrorenen Lebensmitteln in Berührung
kommen, um deren Temperaturanstieg zu vermeiden.
• Magere Lebensmittel lassen sich besser und länger lagern
als fette; Salz verkürzt die Lagerzeit von Lebensmitteln.
• Wenn Wassereis unmittelbar nach der Entnahme aus dem
Gefrierfach verzehrt wird, könnte die Haut möglicherweise
eine Kälteverbrennung erleiden.
• Es empehlt sich, das Einfrierdatum auf jeder einzelnen
Packung zu vermerken, damit Sie den Überblick über die
Lagerzeit behalten.
Tipps zur Lagerung von Tiefkühlkost
Um eine optimale Leistung des Geräts zu erzielen, sollten Sie:
• Sicherstellen, dass die Tiefkühlkost vom Händler
ordnungsgemäß gelagert wurde.
• Sicherstellen, dass die Tiefkühlkost innerhalb kürzest
möglicher Zeit vom Lebensmittelgeschäft in das Gefrierfach
gelangen.
• Vermeiden Sie häuges Önen der Tür und lassen Sie sie
nicht länger als unbedingt erforderlich oen.
• Lebensmittel werden nach dem Auftauen rasch schlecht und
können nicht erneut eingefroren werden.
• Überschreiten Sie die vom Lebensmittelhersteller
angegebene Lagerdauer nicht.
Abtauen des Gefrierschranks
Das Gefrierfach ist frostfrei. Das bedeutet, dass sich kein Frost
bildet, wenn es in Betrieb ist, weder
auf den Innenwänden noch auf den Lebensmitteln. Durch
die kontinuierliche Zirkulation von kalter Luft im Inneren des
Faches, angetrieben von einem automatisch gesteuerten
Ventilator, kommt es zu keiner Frostbildung.
Wenn das Gerät nicht verwendet wird
Trennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromversorgung, entfernen Sie
alle Lebensmittel und reinigen Sie es. Lassen Sie die Türen weit
genug oen, damit die Luft in den Fächern zirkulieren kann.
Dadurch wird die Bildung von Schimmel oder unangenehmen
Gerüchen vermieden.
Bei Stromausfällen
Halten Sie die Türen des Gerätes geschlossen. Auf diese Weise
bleiben die Lebensmittel länger kalt. Frieren Sie teilweise
angetaute Lebensmittel nicht erneut ein, sondern verbrauchen
Sie diese innerhalb von 24 Stunden.

Das Gerät funktioniert nicht:
• Überprüfen, ob das Netzkabel an eine funktionierende Steckdose mit der
korrekten Spannung angeschlossen ist.
• Überprüfen Sie die Schutzeinrichtungen und Sicherungen der
Stromversorgung in Ihrem Haus.
Es bendet sich Wasser in der Abtauschale:
• Bei warmem, feuchtem Wetter ist dies normal. Die Schale kann sogar
halbvoll werden. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät ausnivelliert ist, damit das
Wasser nicht überläuft.
Die Kanten des Gehäuses die mit der
Türdichtung in Berührung kommen, fühlen sich
warm an:
• Bei warmem Wetter und bei laufendem Kompressor ist dies normal.
Die Beleuchtung funktioniert nicht:
• Überprüfen Sie die Schutzeinrichtungen und Sicherungen der
Stromversorgung in Ihrem Haus.
• Überprüfen, ob das Netzkabel an eine funktionierende Steckdose mit der
korrekten Spannung angeschlossen ist.
• Falls die LEDs beschädigt sind, muss der Benutzer den Kundenservice
kontaktieren. Dieser Lampentyp ist nur durch unseren Kundenservice oder
durch autorisierte Händler erhältlich.
Der Motor läuft zu stark:
• Die Motorlaufzeit hängt von verschiedenen Faktoren ab: Anzahl der
Türönungen, gelagerte Lebensmittelmenge, Zimmertemperatur,
Temperatureinstellungen.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Kondensator (hinten am Gerät) frei von Staub
und Flusen ist.
• Sind die Türen richtig geschlossen?
• Sitzen die Türdichtungen richtig?
• An heißen Tagen sowie in warmen Räumen läuft der Motor länger.
• Falls die Tür längere Zeit oen stand und viele Lebensmittel eingelagert
sind, läuft der Motor länger, um das Geräteinnere zu kühlen.
Die Temperatur im Gerät ist zu hoch:
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Gerätesteuerungen richtig eingestellt sind.
• Wurden große Lebensmittelmengen in das Gerät gegeben?
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Tür nicht zu häug geönet wird.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Türe richtig schließt.
Die Türen lassen sich nicht korrekt önen oder
schließen:
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass keine Lebensmittelverpackungen die Tür blockieren.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass interne Teile oder der automatische Eiswürfelbereiter
nicht verkehrt eingesetzt sind.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Türdichtungen nicht schmutzig oder klebrig sind.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät ausnivelliert ist.
Hinweis:
Gurgel-, Zisch- und Summgeräusche aus dem Kühlsystem sind normal.
Bevor Sie den Kundendienst kontaktieren:
Das Gerät aus und wieder einschalten, um festzustellen, ob die
Störung verschwunden ist. Falls nicht, schalten Sie es erneut aus,
und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang nach einer Stunde.
Falls die Störung nach den vorstehend beschriebenen Kontrollen
und dem erneuten Einschalten des Geräts weiter besteht,
wenden Sie sich bitte an den Kundendienst, erläutern Sie klar Ihr
Problem und geben Sie nachstehende Daten an:
• Art der Störung;
• Modell;
• Bauart und Seriennummer des Gerätes (siehe Typenschild);
• die Servicenummer (die Zahl hinter dem Wort SERVICE auf
dem Typenschild, siehe nächste Seite, im Geräteinnern)
