Digital Process Compact 3CCD Color Camera
MKC-507 The MKC-507 is 1/2-inch IT of 3 CCDs camera which employs the next generation digital process IC (ASIC) adopting the
state-of-art graphic processing technology.
It realizes clear and true video image which is required in the medical field use.
Furthermore it can archive still picture and network connection by the advanced software technology for medical use.
It realizes high quality picture which is required for the medical camera system.
The functional camera which reproduces best suitable video image at all.
Employing the high-performance CCD and
the next generation digital process IC (ASIC)
12 bit of A/D converter
It is adopted the 0.18µm digital process IC (ASIC) which is
employing by broadcasting TV camera in addition to a high-
performance 410,000 pixels of 1/2-inch ITCCD.
As it is maximum 38 bit of video processing, it realizes clear and
true video image for the medical camera system.
It reproduces high contrast video image even in darker areas by
employing the 12bit A/D converter.
High Quality, High Sensitivity
It realizes Horizontal Resolution 850 TV lines and sensitivity
2000 lux at F13. And it is high quality and high sensitivity which
is the best suitable for medical field use, like the operating
microscope system and the astral lamp system.
High quality of S/N 63dB
It realizes high quality of signal-to-noise ratio 63dB by the new
CCD signal processing and low noise of 12 bit A/D converter.
Digital Process IC (ASIC)
ADAPTIVE AUTO KNEE
Even with a sudden change of brightness, it prevents high light
parts from changing its color. And appropriate video is
reproduced.
Black stretch
A video without under exposure is reproduced by adjusting
contrast of dark affected parts.
Detail Enhancement
Skin Detail:
Detail enhancement of skin tone for operative site is available in
accordance with condition of the subject.
Electronic Shutter (Shutter Iris)
function
It equips the Shutter Iris function which
can maintain the most appropriate
brightness of video image in accordance
with changing light intensity of the subject.
Manual adjustment of brightness is
available by a volume on the front panel.
Color Correction (painting)
function
Painting: The volume of the continuous
variability is employed for the level
adjustment of R ch (red) and B ch (blue).
It is effective for the fine tuning of painting.
Video Level Indicator
The Level Indicator indicates video level
on the front panel of CCU. It is easy to
check appropriate video level.
Slim Detail:
Detail enhancement of video in details for operative site is
available.
Scene File function
The scene file function which memorize and select color
correction set up and ON/OFF of each auto mode till 3 position
is equipped.
The setup fitted to terms of photography can be called easily.

Auto Iris function
A precise iris control is available by connecting to an auto iris
type camera adaptor or lens.
Excellent practical use and functions
Compact and light weight camera head
It realizes compact, light weight camera head by employing a
small optical block.
The installation work to the operating microscope and the
various adjustments can be done efficiently.
Still picture storage function
It is available to store still picture of
640 X 480 dots from video to USB
memory by pushing button on the
front panel of CCU. Furthermore, it is
available to operate from the foot
switch (option) as well.
Camera head and CCU separate type
A CCU and a camera head were separated.
All adjustments of the image and selection of
function can be done with CCU on hand.
Furthermore, as vertical standing of CCU is
available, it can save installation place
effectively.
Freeze function
It is available to keep an image in a state of
freeze by pushing button on the front panel of
CCU. So it can see details even if it is moving
object. In case of using foot switch (option),
both hands can be used freely, too.
DV output
The DV output terminal has the capability to connect and
system up with various DV equipment like a PC and a DV video
recorder.
Antibacterial coating
Camera head and CCU are coated with antibacterial paint,
giving careful consideration to safety as well.

The various options which make practical use as a system camera possible.
Upgrade of Still Picture Storage function
It equips the simple filing function which can manage every patient ID easily. A preview
of stored still pictures is available on the GUI screen by operating a mouse and a touch
display.
DICOM transmitting function
Stored data (still picture) are available to transmit to the DICOM server through a
network by changing into the DICOM files.
DICOM patient information communicating function
The patient information can be accessed by inputting a patient ID with using DICOM
QR service.
And the patient information can also be accessed by the reservation information list with
using a DICOM MWM service, too.
DV long time recording function
It is available to record a motion video with DV format (AVI format) as long time
recording in the external HDD.
High quality still picture storage function
It is available to capture a high quality still picture (VGA), and store with JPEG format in
an external HDD.
