1. Handling precautions
(1)Do not open the case of camera and never touch inside, where precision parts are
assembled. A trouble or accident may result.
(2)Do not install the unit where it is exposed to water splash, high humidity and heavy
dust. Internal parts may be damaged.
(3)Be very careful not to drop or shock the camera.
(4)Never touch the CCD surface.
2. General
This is a B/W camera of high sensitivity, high resolution and high picture quality using a
1/2 inch CCD having high sensitivity to near-infrared ray.
It has a high resolution of 560 horizontal lines (CCIR), minimum illumination of 0.01 lux,
and a smear level of -120 dB, and is equipped with such functions as line lock, automatic
electronic shutter, backlight compensation, two-way automatic iris, etc. It is a high utility
video camera for monitoring the outdoor scene and as a night-vision camera in combination
with near-infrared ray projector.
Moreover, since it is endowed with OSD and RS-485 communicating function, a high-
grade monitor system architecture is also possible.

①Lens mount (CS mount)
Accepts many types of CS mount lenses.
②C mount adaptor (Accessory)
Attached to the lens mount to accept many types of C mount lenses.
③Flange focal distance adjuster
Used to adjust the flange focal distance depending on the type of lens used. Helpful
when the lens’ focus ring fails to put into focus.
④Flange focal distance lock screw
Used to mechanically lock the flange focal distance after fine adjustment of it.
⑤Holder screw hole
Used to mount the camera onto the camera holder. Effective for general camera tripods.
Note: Be sure to use less than 5.5mm- long setscrew (1/4” – 20 UNC) for mounting
the camera to tripods or holder.
⑥Lens selector switch
Used to choose between the video iris and the DC iris depending on the type of auto
iris lens used.
⑦Auto iris lens connector
Specifically used to connect the auto iris lens. Use the connector plug that is attached
to the camera.
•For the video type auto iris lens
Set the lens selector switch to VIDEO position.

⑧ - ⑫Camera setting function switches
Use them by referring to each operation item.
⑬Video output terminal
Used to give out the video signal. Connect this to the video input terminal of a monitor,
switcher etc. (To be terminated with 75-ohm impedance.)
⑭External sync signal input terminal
Used to receive the GENLOCK (general lock) signal. For external synchronization,
input VBS or BBS signal.
⑮External sync signal 75-ohm termination switch
Set to HIGH position when the GENLOCK signal is looped with T-shaped connector.
Usually, set at 75-OHM position.
⑯Power indicator
Green LED lights up when power is supplied to the camera.
⑰Terminal switch for RS-485
In RS-485 communication control, turn this switch to ON side for one-to-one control,
and turn it to OFF side for daisy-chain connection. (For use in daisy-chain connection,
turn ON the terminal switch by terminal connection equipment.)
⑱RS-485 connection terminal block
Used for RS-485 connection.
⑲AC24V/DC12V power input terminal
Input the power of AC21.6~26.4V or DC10.5~15V.
⑳AC 230V power cable
Used to supply AC 230V power. AC 196-264V is acceptable.
Note: The camera has no power switch. Just plug in the power cable and the
camera gets started. To turn off the camera, just unplug the cable.
The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily
accessible.

5. Setting
5-1. User setting
On this camera, user can make settings of picture quality, synchronization, identification
etc. by himself or herself.
The setup menu is formed in a tree view, and the picture sharpness, synchronization, ID
and others can be set up by on-screen characters. (See the setup tree given in the end
of this manual.)
5-2. Setting switches and their functions
On the back of the camera there are the pushbutton switches and
display as shown at the left.
UP switch (U): Setting item selection (up)
DOWN switch (D):Setting item selection (down)
RIGHT switch (R): Setting change and setting item selection (right)
LEFT switch (L): Setting change and setting item selection (left)
ENTER (E): Setting mode call on/off, setting entry
* To enter into the setup mode, keep pressing the E button.
5-3. User setting menus
(1)CAMERA ID Up to 16 characters can be accepted and displayed.
Switching on and off the CAMERA ID function and presetting ID code
characters.
(2)SHUTTER Setting of high-speed electronic shutter
Selection of high-speed shutter, display of the screen at VARIABLE
mode
(3)LIGHT CONT. Selection of AES or auto iris lens
Setting of back-light compensation as sub-menu
(4)GAIN Selection of AGC, HYP-AGC and fix
(5)SYNC Selection of synchronization system (INT, LL)
(It is impossible to select LL when the power is not synchronous.)
GENLOCK is selected automatically.
(GENLOCK is not displayed without external sync signal.)
It is possible to adjust the phase on sub-menu.
(6)MENU LOCK Setting procedure is locked. (Unlocking: U→R→D→L→U →D→E)

(1)EXIT Ending (Saving) the setting mode and returning to the regular display.
(2)CANCEL Recalling the previously saved settings.
(3)RESET Recalling the factory-settings.
(4)RET Returning to the preceding setting menu.

according to the warranty coverage.
• For repairs after the expiration of the warranty period, consult your dealer or sales
representative. It will first be judged whether the trouble is repairable or not. Charged
servicing will then be made upon the request of user.

1. Zur Beachtung beim Umgang
(1)Öffnen Sie das Kameragehäuse nicht und berühren Sie niemals die inneren
Komponenten, da es sich um Präzisionsbauteile handelt. Es kann dabei zu Störungen
bzw. zu einem Unfall kommen.
(2)Die Kamera darf nicht an Stellen montiert werden, wo Spritzwasser, hohe Feuchtigkeit
oder hohe Staubentwicklung vorherrscht. Die inneren Bauteile können dabei in
Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden.
(3)Die Kamera darf nicht fallengelassen und auch sonst keinen Stößen ausgesetzt
werden.
(4)Niemals die Oberfläche der CCD berühren.
2. Allgemein
Hier handelt es sich um einen S/W von hoher Empfindlichkeit, hoher Auflösung und hoher
Bildqualität mit einem 1/2-Zoll-CCD (hohe Empfindlichkeit bis Fast-Infrarotstrahlung).
Die Kamera besitzt eine hohe Auflösung von 560 Horizontalzeilen (CCIR), eine
Minimalbeleuchtung von 0,015 Lux und einen Schmiereffekt-Pegel von -120 dB. Sie besitzt
Funktionen wie Teilbild-Netzfrequenzverkupplung, automatischer Verschluß,
Gegenlichtkorrektur, automatische Zweiweg-Irisblende usw.
Bei diesem Gerät handelt es sich um eine Überwachungskamera, welche zur Beobachtung des
Außenbereichs eingesetzt wird, sowie als Nachtsicht-Kamera in Kombination mit einem Fast-
Infrarotstrahl-Projektor.
Da das Gerät mit OSD und der RS-485-Kommunikationsfunktion ausgestattet ist, ist
eine hochqualitative Architektur des Monitorsystems ebenso möglich.

①Objektivfassung (CS-Fassung)
Diese Fassung ist für viele Arten von Objektiven mit CS-Fassung geeignet.
②Adapter für C-Fassung (Zuvehör)
Mit diesem Adapter lassen sich viele Arten von Objektiven mit C-Fassung ansetzen.
③Auflagemaß-Einsteller
Dient zur Einstellung des Auflagemaßes für das verwendete Objektiv. Diese Funktion
ist äußerst hilfreich, wenn sich der Brennpunkt nicht mit dem Fokussierring einstellen
läßt.
④Auflagemaß-Sicherungsschraube
Dient zur mechanischen Sicherung des Auflagemaß-Einstellers der Kamera nach der
Feineinstellung.
⑤Gewindebohrung für Halter
Dient zur Befestigung der Kamera an den Kamerahalter. Verwendbar für allgemeine
Kamerastative.
Hinweis: Sicherstellen, daß die Länge der Schraube für die Kamerabefestigung am
Stativ oder am Halter weniger als 5,5 mm (1/4-Zoll - 20 UNC) beträgt.
⑥Objektiv-Wahlschalter
Dient zur Wahl des Video- bzw. Gleichstrom-Irisblendenobjektivs (vom Typ der
automatischen Irisblende abhängig).
⑦Anschluß für automatische Irisblendenobjektiv
Wird ausschließlich für den Anschluß des Irisblendenobjektivs benutzt. Hierfür den
an die Kamera angeschlossenen Stecker verwenden.
•Für das automatische Video-Irisblendenobjektiv
Den Objektiv-Wahlschalter auf die Position VIDEO stellen.

⑧ - ⑫Nummern der Anschlußstifte

⑬Video-Ausgangsbuchse
Used to give out the video signal. Connect this to the video input terminal of a monitor,
switcher etc. (To be terminated with 75-ohm impedance.)
⑭Eingangsbuchse für externes Synchronisationssignal
Dient zur Zuführung des GENLOCK-Signals (Generatorsynchronisation). Ein VBS-
oder BBS-Eingangssignal ist verwendbar.
⑮75-Ohm-Abschlußschalter für externes Synchronisationssignal
Sollte auf die Position HIGH eingestellt werden, wenn das GENLOCK-Signal mit einem
T-förmigen Steckverbinder durchgeschleift wird. Wird normalerweise auf die Position
75-Ohm eingestellt.
⑯Netzanzeige
Die grüne LED leuchtet auf, wenn der Kamera Strom zugeführt wird.
⑰Abschlussschalter für RS-485
Bei der RS-485-Kommunikationssteuerung ist dieser Schalter für die Geräte-Steuerung
auf die ON-Seite zu drehen. Für einen Verkettungsanschluss muss der Schalter auf
die OFF-Seite gedreht werden. (Beim Verkettungsanschluss ist der Abschlussschalter
am Abschlussschalter-Gerät zu aktivieren.)
⑱RS-485-Verkettungsanschlussblock
Für RS-485-Anschluss
⑲Spannungs-Eingangsanschluss 24-V-Wechselstrom / 12-V-Gleichstrom
Eingabe von Spannung: Wechselstrom 21,6 V ~ 26,4 V oder Gleichstrom 10,5 V ~ 15 V.
⑳Netzkabel für 230 V Netzspannung
Dient zur Versorgung mit 230 V Netzspannung. Eine Spannung im Bereich von 196
bis 264 V Wechselstrom ist zulässig.
Hinweis:
Die Kamera verfügt nicht über einen Netzschalter. Durch Anschließen des
Netzkabels wird die Kamera eingeschaltet. Zum Ausschalten der Kamera ziehen
Sie den Netzstecker.
Die Steckdose muß leicht zugänglich in der Nähe des Gerätes sein.

5. Einstellung
5-1. Einstellung durch den Benutzer
Bei dieser Kamera kann der Benutzer die Einstellungen bezüglich der Bildqualität, der
Synchronisation, der Identifikation usw. Das Einrichtmenü wird als Baumstruktur
dargestellt, während die Bildschärfe, die Synchronisation, die ID und andere Posten
durch Bildschirmsymbole eingestellt werden. (Siehe hierfür die Baumstruktur am Ende
dieser Anleitung.)
5-2. Einstellung und Funktionen von Schaltern
An der Rückseite der Kamera befinden sich die links dargestellten
Druckknopfschalter und das Display.
Aufwärtsschalter (U): Wahl des Einstellpostens (aufwärts)
Abwärtsschalter (D): Wahl des Einstellpostens (abwärts)
Rechts-Schalter (R): Veränderung und Wahl des Einstellpostens
(rechts)
Links-Schalter (L): Veränderung und Wahl des Einstellpostens
(links)
Eingabeschalter (E): Abrufen des Einstellmodus ein/aus, Eingabe
von Einstellungen
* Um den Einrichtmodus zu aktivieren, ist die Taste E mehrmals zu betätigen.
5-3. Benutzer-Einstellmenüs
(1) CAMERA ID Bis zu 16 Zeichen können eingegeben und angezeigt werden.
Ein- und Ausschalten der CAMERA ID-Funktion und Voreinstellung
der ID-Codes.
(2) SHUTTER Einstellung der Verschlußzeit des elektronischen
Hochgeschwindigkeitsverschlusses
Einstellung der Verschlußzeit des Hochgeschwindigkeitsverschlusses,
Displayanzeige im VARIABLE-Modus
(3) LIGHT CONT. Wahl des AES- oder automatischen Irisblendenobjektivs
Einstellung der Gegenlichtkompensation (als Untermenü).
(4) GAIN Wahl von AGC, HYP-AGC und festen Regelung (3 Stufen).
(5) WHITE BAL. Wahl und Einstellung des Weißbalancesystems
ATW1: 2600K - 6000K
ATW2: 2000K - 6000K (bei Verwendung einer sodium-Lampe)
AWC: Tastendruckeinstellung
MANU: Manuelleinstellung
(6) SYNC Wahl des Synchronisationssystems (INT, LL)
GENLOCK wird automatisch angewählt.
(GENLOCK wird ohne externes Synchronisationssignal angezeigt.)
Phaseneinstellung ist möglich (als Untermenü).
(7) MENU LOCK: Die Einstellfunktion ist gesperrt.
(Aufhebung der Sperre: U→R→D→L→U→D→E)
