7. POWER SOURCES - The appliance should be connected

8. CLEANING - The appliance should only be cleaned with a
dry cloth.
9. OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY - Care should be taken so
that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the
device’s openings.
10. CARTS AND STANDS - The appliance
should be used only with a cart or stand that
is recommended by the manufacturer. An
appliance and cart combination should be
moved with care. Quick stops, excessive
force, and uneven surfaces may cause the appliance and
cart combination to overturn causing possible injury to the
user and/or damage to the unit.

caused by the electromagnetic field generated by electronic
devices. In fact, most electrical appliances and devices emit
electric and magnetic fields, and most of modern electronic

sure all the accessories are put aside so they will not be lost.
FM transmitter for your iPod®nano sends the

nano. You can find a frequency on the FM dial while it displays
on the LCD screen after simply plugging the transmitter directly

Screen Indications
Turning on/off the FM Transmitter
When connected to your iPod, it automatically turns on. When
disconnected, it automatically turns off. If there is no audio input
signal until 1 minute after connected to your iPod, this unit
automatically enters the standby mode. In the standby mode, it
stops transmitting. If there is an audio signal, it automatically
wakes up and begins transmitting the music.

Setting up the Preset Memory
You can store up to 9 FM frequencies in the preset memory and
easily call them up later.
1. Connect the FM transmitter to your iPod.
2. Press the “MENU” button to
see the FM frequency on your
iPod screen.
3. Check whether the “M” indication is currently on. If currently
on, press the “MENU” button to turn off.

4. Select an FM frequency using the left-arrow “W” or right-
arrow “X” buttons.
•Press the “W” or “X” button to change the frequency
with 0.1MHz step.
•Press and hold the “W” or “X” button to change the
frequency with 1MHz step.

5. Press and hold the “MENU”
button until one of the preset
numbers is activated.
6. Select the preferred preset memory number using the left-
arrow “W” or right-arrow “X” buttons.

7. Press and hold the “MENU”
button to store the frequency
into the selected preset number.
The indication “M” will be on.
8. Repeat Steps 2 to 7 to preset other frequencies.
Changing One Preset to Another
1. Press the “MENU” button to see the FM frequency on your
iPod screen.
2. Check whether the “M” and
preset number indications are
currently on.

Transmitting Your Favorite Songs to a
Nearby FM Radio
1. Connect the FM transmitter to your iPod.
2. Select the preset number using
the left-arrow “W” or right-arrow
“X” buttons.
Note: The FM transmitter screen
will change to the normal iPod
screen if there is no action for 5 seconds with the FM
transmitter. If the screen changes to the normal iPod screen,
you can always change to the FM transmitter screen by
pressing the “MENU” button.
3. Leave for 5 seconds without any action on the transmitter.
The iPod screen will return to normal.

Transmitting Your Favorite Songs to a
Nearby FM Radio – Cont.
4. Play a song on your iPod as usual.
5. Tune your nearby radio to the FM frequency that you want
to listen to.
6. If properly set, you will hear the song from your iPod on the
radio.
7. Adjust the volume to an appropriate level for listening.
Note: Do not listen to music with high volume while driving.

Helpful Tips on Getting the Clearer Sound
•An FM transmitter employs frequency modulation to
transmit a song to an FM radio, and it can be disturbed by a
nearby strong FM broadcast. Thus, before transmitting a
song using this unit, it is very important to select a clear FM
station which has no other signal which renders only static
noises.
•The sound quality of an FM transmitter also depends on the
direction of its built-in antenna and surroundings. If you
hear some static noises while listening to music using the
FM transmitter, rotate or move the FM transmitter around
until you get a clearer sound.

Helpful Tips on Getting the Clearer Sound –
Cont.
•If the battery of your iPod is low, the sound quality may also
be poor. In this case, charge your iPod first and try it again.
Charging and Synchronizing Your iPod
You can charge or synchronize your iPod without disconnecting
the FM transmitter. To do so, connect the mini USB plug of the
supplied USB cable to the mini USB port located at the bottom of
the FM transmitter. Connect the other end of the USB cable to
your computer or USB power adapter. Your iPod will be charged
or synchronized as usual.
