Placing the vibrating poker +motor in service
After unpacking the machine, proceed to:
•check whether the drive motor has been dented such as to impair its correct operation; above all, make sure that there is
no damage to the cable and switch.
•Make sure that the mains voltage available for powering the motor corresponds to the nameplate voltage
•Make sure that the work site control panel to which the motor is connected, is provided with remote contactor having
automatic trip and manual resetting.
•Check for presence and correct layout of the earth (ground) wire on the power socket available.
•Insert the poker in the shank of the motor, securing it with the screw.
•Place the shoulder strap on the motor and adjust the strap
•Insert the socket in the work site plug.
Motor start-up
After carrying out the preliminary operations for placing into service, the motor can be started merely by shifting the switch to
position 1; the drive motor then starts running thus vibrating the poker.
To stop the machine
To stop the motor at the end of the vibration operations, simply shift the switch back to its original position 0; the motor stops
within a brief time.
It is advisable to stop the motor when the poker is out of the concrete.
