Infants are at risk of serious injury if they face forward too early.
If the infants shoulders are below the lower label or if the baby’s neck muscles are unable
to support their head, then the infant should remain rear facing. When the child’s shoulder
reach the lower label, the child restraint may be turned to face towards the front of the car
(refer page 33 Child Seat section).

infants shoulders are below this shoulder height marker (Lower label).
To be used only in a rearward-facing position for an infant until their shoulders REACHREACH the
Lower shoulder height marker (approximately 12 months of age).
