Slide mechanism case back 6”.
Replace center case.
A. Removetwocentercasemountingscrews.
B. Removeretainingringandpin.
C. RemoveoldXP98/99 center case.
D. Attach new center case with new pin,
retainingringand screws.

6When properly adjusted, secure
strike with additional screw. IMPORTANT!
Perform operational check.
B. Withdoor closed, push device pushbar.
Deviceshould allow door to open.
A. With door closed, push against
doorwithout touching device.
Device should NOT allow door to open.
C. Ifdevicedoesnotfunction as described,
adjust strike position and continue
operationalcheckuntil device functions
asdescribed above.

4Install new strike using existing
strike holes.
