Your radio has three radio modes: analog (FM), HD Radio, and RBDS (Radio Broadcast Data System).

Turningyourradioonoro
Toturn yourradioonoro:
• Press and hold 1 second . Your radio turns on and the HD RADIO splash
screenappears on thedisplay.Pressandholdfor1 secondagaintoturntheradioo.
Lock&UnlockyourRadio
1 Pressthe buttontoshowthelockingdisplaystatus.
2 Press tounlockthescreen andgotooperatingstatus.
Operating display status is the normal operating status where
thetouchscreenand key buttonswork.
3 Press again.Your radiodisplay dims.If thereisno keyinput or screen
touchfor threeseconds(orthetimeyousetinthemenu)the backlight
automatically turns o.If thereis any keyinputor thescreenis touchedwhile
thescreenisdim,thebacklight turnson.
Adjusting thevolume
• Press the + button to increase the volume or press the – button to decrease the volume.
The volumeindicatorinthe display showstheincrease ordecrease.Thevolumeindicator
disappearsafterthreeseconds.
Manuallytuningtoa frequency
Whenyoumanuallytune,your radio goes to thenext or previous frequency regardless of
whethera stationisbroadcastingonthefrequency.
Tomanually tunetoa frequency:
• Press > for less than one second. Your radio goes to the next higher frequency.
Each press >of the button changes the frequency by 0.2 MHz.
• Press < for less than one second. Your radio goes to the next lower frequency.
Each press of the button changes the frequency by 0.2 MHz.
• Press and hold >or < to fast-forward or fast-reverse through the frequencies.
Caution
Listeningtoyourradiowith thevolume settoo loudorusing earphones for extendedperiods oftimecan damageyour
hearing.Youshouldsetthevolumeleveltomedium(themediumlevelisusuallylessthan2/3ofthemaximum).
Automatically tuningtoastation
Toautomaticallytunetoa station:
• Press >> to automatically tune to the next higher radio station. If the search reaches the top of the radio band, your radio goes to the
bottomof the bandandcontinuessearching.
• Press << to automatically tune to the next lower radio station. If the search reaches the bottom of the radio band, your radio goes to
thetop of thebandandcontinuessearching.
Settinga presetstation
Toseta presetstation:
1 Tuneto thestationyouwanttomakea preset.
2 PressthePresetbutton.
3 IfyouwanttostorethenpressStore button,
andpress“YES”button.
4 Whenyoupress oneof thepresetson the screen,
itis highlighted.Pressthepresetagainor pressthe
Selectbuttontogoto thepresetchannel.
5 PresstheReturnbuttontoexitwithoutstore.
