Slide Switch
STANDARD: default mode; allows normal
communication between ports.
EXTEND: open MTU VLAN, set PoE ports to full 10 Mbps
and extend Ethernet up to 250 meters (820 ft.)
Connections
Connections
1 Use Ethernet cable (Cat5e min.) to connect powered device(s) to PoE port(s).
2 Use Ethernet cable (Cat5e min.) to connect switch to uplink port(s).
3 Wire the grounding terminal to an earth-grounding
object to prevent power spikes.
4 Use the included power cord to connect the device (on the rear panel) to an
AC outlet. The device supports AC 100 – 240 V, 50/60 Hz.
Placement
Desktop Installation
Prior to use, place/position the switch:
• on a level surface with at least 25 mm (approx. 1”) of clearance for ventilation
• away from sources of electrical noise: radios, transmitters,
broadband amplifiers within 100 m (approx. 328’) of
network devices it’s to be connected to.

Anschlusse
1 Verwenden Sie ein Ethernet-Kabel (Cat5e min.) zum Anschluss
von mit Strom versorgten Geräten an den PoE Out Ports.
2 Verwenden Sie Ethernet-Kabel (Cat5e min.), um den
Switch mit dem/den Uplink-Port(s) zu verbinden.
3 Verkabeln Sie den Erdungspunkt, um Spannungsspitzen zu vermeiden.
4 Verwenden Sie das beiliegende Stromkabel, um die Strombuchse
auf der Rückseite des Switches mit einer Steckdose zu verbinden.
Das Gerät unterstützt AC 100 – 240 V, 50/60 Hz.
Nutzungsumgebung
Desktop-Installation
Er wird empfohlen, den Switch vor der Nutzung folgendermaßen aufzustellen:
• auf ebenem Untergrund, der das Gewicht des Switches
(und evtl. anderer Gegenstände) trägt,
• mit mindestens 25 mm Abstand zu allen Seiten für angemessenen
Luftdurchsatz, fern von anderen Übertragungsgeräten
wie Radios, Breitband- verstärker, etc.

EXTEND: abra la MTU de red para interfaces locales
virtuales, configure al máximo los puertos PoE en 10 Mbps

Conexiones
1 Utilice el cable Ethernet (mín. Cat5e) para conectar
los dispositivos al puerto PoE de salida.
2 Utilice el cable de red Ethernet (Cat5e min.) para conectar
el interruptor a los puertos de enlace ascendente.
3 Conecte el terminal de conexión a tierra a un objeto de
conexión a tierra para evitar picos de energía.
4 Utilice el cable de corriente incluido para conectar la parte
trasera del switch con una toma de corriente. El dispositivo
es compatible con AC 100 – 240 V, 50/60 Hz.

Instalación de escritorio
Antes de utilizarlo, se recomienda que el switch sea colocado/fijado:
• sobre una superficie plana que pueda soportar el peso del
switch (y cualquier otro artículo que deba ser considerado)
• con un mínimo de 25 mm (1”aprox.) de espacio libre en la parte
superior y en los lados para una ventilación adecuada, apartado de
fuentes de ruido eléctrico: radios, transmisores, amplificadores, etc.

Interrupteur à glissière
STANDARD : mode par défaut ; permet une
communication normale entre les ports.
EXTEND : activer le réseau VLAN MTU, définir les ports PoE
sur 10 Mbit/s et étendre Ethernet jusqu’à 250 mètres
Connexions
1 Utilisez un câble Ethernet (Cat5e min.) pour connecter le(s)
dispositif(s) alimenté(s) au(x) port(s) de sortie (PoE OUT).
2 Utiliser un câble Ethernet (Cat 5e minimum) pour relier le
commutateur au(x) port(s) de liaison ascendante.
3 Câblez la borne de mise à la terre à un objet de mise
à la terre pour éviter les pointes de tension.
4 Utilisez le cordon d’alimentation inclus pour connecter l’entrée
d’alimentation au panneau arrière du commutateur à une prise de
courant. L’appareil prend en charge 100 – 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz.

Avant d’utiliser le commutateur, il est recommandé:
• de le placer sur une surface plane qui peut supporter
son poids (et celui d’autres objets),
• ac. un écartement minimal de 25 mm d’autres objets pour
une ventilation suffisante, loin des appareils électriques qui
peuvent être source d‘interférence (des radios etc.).
