*Choosing the correct dehumidier should be based on the following factors:
l The size of the room
l The room temperature
l The relative humidity
l Room insulation
Consumption values may vary depending on the relative humidity in the room of op-
eration.
**30W Consumption during the fan operation.
The fan only operation is a function that cannot be manually selected. It is automatical-
ly selected when the moisture content in the room is lower than that set by the MODE
button.
When Low Fan Speed is set, the consumption can reach a maximum of 330W, regard-
less of the mode (MODE) that has been selected.
When the Medium or High Fan Speed is set, the consumption may reach a maximum
of 650W.
The deviation rate of the above values is +/- 5%.
*** Desiccant dehumidiers, operate without the use of a compressor, which is con-
sidered cutting edge technology for greater eciency at lower room temperatures. In-
cluding an absorbent Desiccant dehumidifying wheel, that reduces the room's humid-
ity during its rotation. An electrical resistance heats the Desiccant element discarding
the collected humidity directly inside the water bucket.

eas with less condensation.
• The use of HIGH speed should be preferred to achieve faster dehumi-
dication.
MODE
Press “MODE” button, and select among the following operations:
(continuous dehumidication): The dehumidier will operate continu-
ously, extracting humidity from the air. When this function is selected, the dehumidi-
er will keep running continuously until the water tank is full, disregarding the relative
humidity of the room.

11
EN
• Alternative use of this function
- Drying your clothes: Position the dehumidier in a small sized room along
with your clothes horse. Keep doors shut, and your clothes will dry up in
no time!
- For optimal results manual wringing of the clothes is suggested.
- Allow a 30-50cm distance between the unit and the clothes horse.
- For special humidity requirements, where big amount of water needs to
be distracted such us ooded rooms.
- When immediate dehumidication is necessary such as for rooms that
haven’t been used for an extended period of time etc.
Humidity level 60% RH: The dehumidier will stop operating after reaching
the 60% humidity level, and will regain operation once this level has been exceeded.
• Use this function for minimizing the operative time of the dehumidier
and to achieve greater energy savings.
Humidity level 50% RH: The dehumidier will stop operating after rea-
ching the 50% humidity level in the room and will start again when this level is exceeded.
• Suggested mode for most domestic applications.
Humidity level 40% RH: The dehumidier will stop operating after rea ching
the 40% humidity level in the room and will start again when this level is exceeded.
• To prevent the condensation on single insulated windows, or when
outside temperatures drop below 5ºC the High Mode should be preferred
rather than the Normal Mode.
SWING
The SWING function may be set between a 90 and a 45 degree angle by pressing the
"SWING" button - the swing indication led is active. By pressing the button once again, the
ap will stop at the desired angle and the swing led indication will then turn o.

misplaced.
• The water level control switch shuts o the dehumidier when the bucket is
full, removed or misplaced.
ALARM
If the unit malfunctions, an alarm system will activate and the unit will automatically
shut down.
During operation, malfunctions may occur if the
air intake or exhaust are obstructed or blocked by objects. This can cause high inter-
nal temperatures and the appliance will automatically shut down. Unplug the device
immediately and resume operation after 5 minutes.
The unit has a heater inside, to avoid overheating, the unit is
equipped with a tipping switch that automatically shuts down the device in the event
the unit tips over.
8. WATER TANK & DRAIN HOSE
There are two ways to remove collected water. Before proceeding, ensure that you
have switched o and unplugged the device.
When the water tank is full, the alarm will beep and the Water Full indicator light will
turn on.
• Slowly remove the bucket. Grip the handle with caution, and carefully pull outwards
so the water does not overow. Do not place the tank on the oor because the bot-
tom of the tank is uneven. Doing so the tank will fall and the water will be spilled on
the oor.
• Empty the water from the tank and place it again in to the device. The water tank,
must be securely and properly placed, for the dehumidier to operate.
• When the water tank is re-installed the unit will automatically restart.

11. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & TROUBLE
No there is no need for replacement. The Zeolite is
regenerated within the dehumidier and this will last
for many years.
For the rst month upon its initial operation, the
dehumidier operates at its maximum in order to
calibrate in its working environment. As time passes,
this will gradually reduce, since the dehumidier will
be controlled via its humidistat. In regards to damp
houses, the use of a dehumidier may lower your
central billing costs signicantly.
During the rst days of usage and periodically
afterwards you might notice a smell coming from the
dehumidier. This is caused by the Zeolite desiccant
material and is not a sign that the dehumidier is not
working properly nor is it harmful to humans or pets.
The smell occurs because the Zeolite absorbs odors
from items like cigarettes, cosmetics, hair sprays,
building materials and new furniture, and as the
desiccant is heated the smell is discharged into the
room. You can clear it by running the dehumidier in
a separate space like a garage or - if it is dry – outside.
For optimal results, it is suggested to place the
dehumidier in a central area, like a hallway. Leave
the doors open and the moisture will migrate
naturally towards the device to be processed.
No, the lter can’t be replaced.
The suggested humidity range uctuates between
40% and 60%. This level of an average humidity
ensures the greatest comfort for you and your
family, preventing allergies or diseases, and keeps
your home healthy and well maintained, in terms of
plasterboards, dye exfoliation, wood furniture and
any other equipment or material that is susceptible to
the harmful consequences of extremely high humidity
conditions.

16
EN
When the room reaches the preferred humidity
level, there is a possibility of humidity appearance
on windows. This happens due to the temperature
dierence of the room’s and external ambient
temperature. Keep running the dehumidier and
when the air temperature outside increases the
windows should clear of condensation.
The desiccant dehumidier Rise, operates with an
electrical resistance that warms up the desiccant
material. As a result, the temperature of the outgoing
air has been increased to 10°C comparing to the
room’s temperature. This doesn’t denote in any case
that this device can be used as a heating appliance.
l Make sure the dehumidier’s plug is placed completely into the socket.
l Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box.
l Check whether the power cord is damaged.
l Check the water bucket, if it is full, empty it.
l Check if the dehumidier has reached its preset level.
l Make sure the water bucket is positioned properly.
l Room temperature is lower or higher than the advised operational range.
l Check whether the humidity level has been set in high levels
l Make sure that the dehumidier has been operating enough time to remove the
moisture.
l Make sure there are no curtains, blinds or furniture blocking the front or back of the
dehumidier.
l The humidity selector may not be set low enough.
l Make sure you have cleaned the lter as suggested. Clogged lter may result in re-
duced performance.
l All house exits (windows doors etc) where the dehumidier is operating, should be
shut.
l Room temperature is below the advised operational range.
l There is a kerosene heater or something giving o water vapor in the room.
l The room that the device is placed is bigger than suggested.
l The humidity level is too high.

17
EN
l The air lter is clogged.
l The device is titled instead of being in an upright position.
l The oor surface is not at.
l Check that the drain hose has been correctly placed.
l The drain hose has been blocked or damaged.
