Choosing the Correct Size
Test Suggested Size First

If the headset does not t correctly try
the shorter version.

using the foam tip tool to indicate a
suggested size

The foam tip should be screwed on so that
the tube is no longer visible.

How Often to Change
Carry Spares
Always carry a spare pair of foam tips in
case they become sweaty or dirty
and need replacing.
When Sweaty or Wet
In high temperatures, the foam tips can
become wet due to sweat. Change foam
tips for dry ones. Let them dry for re-use.
Every Two Weeks
A good practice is to change the foam tips at
least every two weeks to maintain hygiene..
When Dirty
When the foam tips are dirty, they should be
changed to avoid risk of infections.

Please Notice
but will not offer the same headset retention in the ear.
Cutting should be done in small chunks to avoid cutting too short.

Tighten Cable Grip
Slide the cable grip up the cable so that it is
tightened against the head/neck to secure
headset and avoid loose cables.

In order to avoid tangling and loose
cabling, the headset cable should be placed
behind the neck.

The adhesive area of the wind lter must not
cover the microphone grill.
Replace When Dirty
The wind lter over the hear-thru micro-
phone protects from wind noise. Replace
when dirty for optimal audio performance.

Maintenance
Protected from Force
To avoid damaging the headset, store
the headset in a protected area without
excess weight.
Dry and Ventilated
The headset should be stored in a dry and
ventilated area to avoid moisture build-up.
Clean in Fresh Water
If headset becomes dirty or exposed to salt
water, rinse in fresh water.

Control
Automatic Start-Up
Turns on and off automatically with the
radio (radio dependent).
Hear-Thru Off
Hear-thru is turned off via a long push.
Hear-Thru On & Volume
Hear-thru on and volume adjusted via a short
push. Three levels: Low, Med & High.

Each of the four PTT buttons is only as-
signed to connected radios.

Receive and Transmit
Rx
Radio Transmit - Right Ear
Outgoing radio signal (Tx) is transmitted
from the right ear.
Radio Receive - Split Ear
Incoming radio signals (Rx) are received in
both ears with split audio. Example:
Dual net radio - net1 in left and net2 in right.

Incoming radio signal (Rx) is received in
the left ear when transmitting.
