Startup Instructions
IMPORTANT! Windows® 98/98SE users: You must download and install the
USB Update Module from our web site www.iomega.com/software/
Mac® OS 8.6 users: Download USB Mass Storage 1.3.5 from www.apple.com
Windows Me/2000/XP users, and Mac OS 9.X and up: Your system already
supports USB.
1. Swivel the cap on your Iomega® Micro Mini USB
drive and plug it into any USB port on your computer.
The Iomega Micro Mini USB drive icon will appear in My
Computer, Windows Explorer or on the Mac desktop.
The light pulsing slowly means the Iomega Micro Mini
USB drive is on. A faster pulse means it is transferring
data.
CAUTION! Do not remove the Iomega Micro Mini USB drive during data
transfer; data loss may occur.
2. The Iomega Micro Mini USB drive is ready to use
just like any other removable drive connected to your
computer. To start using the drive, double click on the
icon in My Computer, Windows Explorer or on the Mac
desktop.

3. PC users: Double click the Click Here icon to register your Iomega
Micro Mini USB drive and download cool software. You will need
internet access.
4. To remove the Iomega Micro Mini USB drive,
make sure the drive is not transferring data.
PC users: Click on the Remove Hardware icon on
the right side of the taskbar to stop the Iomega Micro Mini USB drive, then
remove it. (Windows 98/98SE users will not see this icon, simply remove the
Iomega Micro Mini USB drive.)
Mac users: Drag the Iomega Micro Mini USB drive icon to the trash before
removing.
5. To format the Iomega Micro Mini USB drive, use the system format utilities
on PC or Mac.
CAUTION! All data currently on the Iomega Micro Mini USB drive will be
erased during format. Copy the Click Here information to your desktop before
formatting.

1. Faites pivoter le capuchon de votre lecteur Iomega®
Micro Mini USB et connectez ce dernier à un port USB de
votre ordinateur. L’icône du lecteur Iomega Micro Mini USB
s’affiche dans le Poste de travail, dans l’Explorateur Windows
ou sur le bureau Mac.
La lumière clignotant lentement indique que le lecteur Iomega
Micro Mini USB est sous tension. Lorsque la lumière clignote plus
rapidement, cela indique qu’un transfert de données est en cours.
ATTENTION ! Ne déconnectez pas le lecteur Iomega Micro
Mini USB lorsqu’un transfert de données est en cours ; ceci

2. Le lecteur Iomega Micro Mini USB est prêt à l’emploi, tout
comme tout autre lecteur amovible connecté à votre ordinateur. Pour commencer à
utiliser le lecteur, cliquez deux fois sur l’icône dans le Poste de travail, l’Explorateur
Windows ou sur le bureau Mac.

3. Utilisateurs PC : cliquez deux fois sur l’icône Cliquer ici pour enregistrer
votre lecteur Iomega Micro Mini USB et télécharger les derniers logiciels. Pour
cela, vous devez disposer d’une connexion Internet.
4. Avant de supprimer le lecteur Iomega Micro Mini USB,
assurez-vous qu’aucun transfert de données n’est en
cours.
Utilisateurs PC : cliquez sur l’icône Remove Hardware
(Supprimer matériel) située à droite dans la barre des tâches pour arrêter le lecteur
Iomega Micro Mini USB, puis supprimez-le. Cette icône ne s’affiche pas pour les
utilisateurs Windows 98/98 Deuxième Edition ; dans ce cas, supprimez simplement le
lecteur Iomega Micro Mini USB.)
Utilisateurs Mac : Faites glisser l’icône du lecteur Iomega Micro Mini USB dans la
poubelle avant de la supprimer.
5. Pour formater le lecteur Iomega Micro Mini USB, utilisez les utilitaires de formatage
de système de votre PC ou Mac.
ATTENTION ! Toutes les données présentes sur le lecteur Iomega Micro Mini USB seront
supprimées au moment du formatage. Copiez les informations de la section Cliquer ici

entfernen” auf der rechten Seite der Taskleiste, um das
Iomega Micro Mini USB-Laufwerk anzuhalten. Entfernen
Sie es anschließend. (Bei Windows 98/98SE wird dieses Symbol nicht angezeigt,

Il LED che lampeggia lentamente indica che l’unità Iomega
