Important note on in tallation:
Ensure the required clearances and s acing during
installation (Fig. 1).
If the device is to be installed in a fitting anel (e.g.
universal holder AY000115, see Fig. 2), roceed as
follows:
1. Attach the fitting anel to the intended location.
2. Screw the first nut onto the sensor, insert the sensor into
the corres onding mounting hole and then screw the
second nut onto the sensor. If the device is ex osed to
vibrations during subsequent o eration, the additional
use of s ring washers or toothed lock washers is
recommended during installation.
3. Select the mounting oint so that the distance to the
active surface is at least 7mm (Fig. 3).
4. Do not overrun the maximum tightening torque of
1.5Nm.
5. Already during mechanical installation, ay attention to
the alignment of the connector so that an angled cable
socket runs in the desired direction.
6. Only attach the cable socket after the mechanical
installation has been com leted and screw the union nut
tight. The maximum tightening torque is about 0.4Nm.
7. If you need to correct the alignment of an angled cable
box, loosen the mechanical fastening beforehand and
adjust the sensor (Fig. 4).
8. Provide suitable strain relief for the line so that any
vibrations are not transmitted to the device via the line.
