irock! Irock 930 User manual

On:
To turn on the player, press and hold the "Play/Pause/
Stop" Key for 3 seconds or until the blue LED turns on.
Once the player is turned on, it will automatically begin
to play and the blue LED will blink.
Off:
When the player is in play or pause mode, press and hold
the "Play/Pause/Stop" Key. The blue LED will blink for 4
seconds before shutting off.
Play:
To play or when your player is paused, press and release
the "Play/Pause/Stop" Key.
Pause:
When the player is in play, press and release the "Play/
Pause/Stop" Key. The blue LED will stop blinking and
remain on. If no button is pressed within 1 minute of
pause mode, the player will automatically turn off.

Forward:
Press and release "Forward/ FFW" key for the next song.
Fast-Forward:
To fast forward current song, press and hold the
"Forward/ FFW" key.

To go back a song, press and release the "Previous/
RWD" key.
Rewind:
To rewind the current song, press and hold the "Previous/

Connecting your player:
• Make sure your player is off.
• Connect the USB cable from the player to your
computer's USB port.
Exploring player's built-in memory or memory card*:
• From your PC system, right click the "Start" menu and
select "Explore".
• From the pop-up menu, select "Removable Disk" on the
computer drive list.
• Now you can copy, paste or delete files as you do on a
regular drive.
To disconnect (eject) the player:
• To safely eject the player, click on the "SafelyRemove
Hardware" (for Window XP) or "Unplug or Eject
Hardware" (for Windows 2000) icon in the system tray.
• From the pop-up menu, select the appropriate drive.
• You can unplug the irock! player when the PC prompts
that it is safe to remove the USB cable.
PLAYER OPERATION
Steps
*NOTE: You will not be able to view both the player's
built-in memory and the memory card at the same time.
You can only view one at a time.
Transfer files to/from built-in memory:
• Make sure your player is off.
• To transfer files to the built-in memory, remove any
memory card from the player's card slot.
• Connect the USB cable between the player and the PC.
• Following step "Exploring player's built-in memory or
memory card".

• Make sure your player is off.
• To transfer files to the memory card, insert memory
card into the player's card slot.
• Connect the USB cable between the player and the PC.
• Following step "Exploring player's built-in memory or
memory card".
File format:
This player will only play MP3 music file format.
Playing files:
If the memory card is inserted, the player will play the
memory card only. To play your MP3 files from your
built-in memory, remove the memory card.
File Transfer

My 2GB memory card is not working or has errors:
FID has tested numerous brands of media for
compatibility with the player. Please check our web site
(www.myirock.com) for recommended memory cards.
My player doesn't turn on:
Please make sure you have at least one MP3 music file
in the built-in memory or the memory card. If no file is
on either one, the music player will not turn on.
My SD card cannot be writen or formated:
Please check if your card lock switch is on and turn off.
