Using the torch:
-To turn on the torch: Make sure the switch lock is disabled and flick the switch counter clockwise for activation.
-To turn off: Turn the switch clockwise. It is also a good idea to put on the switch lock to prevent accidental activation.
To change the batteries:
1. Make sure the torch’s exterior is clean and dust free and dry – it is important that no moisture will ever come in
contact with any components on the inside. Hold the aluminium handle in one hand and the torch’s switch end in the
other. Twist counter clockwise to disassemble.
2. MAKE SURE the torch is TURNED OFF before changing the batteries.
3. USE ONLY good quality, new alkaline batteries for best performance. NEVER USE a mixture of different battery
types as well as new and old batteries.
4. This is a good time to check if the o-rings are in good condition and are free of any dust / dirt particle. Change to new
ones if necessary. Apply silicone grease to them before putting the aluminium housing back on.
Before each dive:
-Make sure its battery is fully charged.
-Inspect if the o-rings are in clean, good condition and have a thin film of silicone grease applied to them. If in doubt,
do not use the torch until the o-rings are replaced.
-The housing is screwed onto the lamp base properly (hand tight only, do not over-tightened).
-Turn on the torch and see if it is functioning properly.
Post dive:
-Thoroughly clean the exterior then follow the prescribed battery charging process as soon as it is convenient.
-Storage: Keep the torch in a cool, shaded and dry area. Do not expose it to extreme conditions such as direct sun light,
heat, temperature below –20C°(-28F∘) or above 35 C°(95F∘).
-For long-term storage, remove the batteries from the torch to prevent electricity slowly drained from the batteries and
potential battery fluid leakage induced malfunction.
To change from focused beam to photographic beam:
-Remove the aluminium housing –make sure the exterior is thoroughly cleaned and dried!
