Battery Charging:
ELECTRICITY STORED IN ANY BATTERY WILL DIMINISH OVER TIME. IT
IS IMPERATIVE TO FULLY CHARGE YOUR TORCH BEFORE USING IT THE
VERY FIRST TIME!
1. Make sure the torch’s exterior is clean and dust free and dry – it is important that no moisture will ever come in contact with any
components on the inside. Hold the aluminium handle in one hand and the torch’s switch end in the other. Twist counter
clockwise to disassemble.
2. MAKE SURE the torch is TURNED OFF before charging begins.
3. USE ONLY THE CHARGER that came with the kit. IF DAMAGE IS FOUND BY USING INCORRECT CHARGER, the
torch’s warranty will automatically be void.
4. The charger works with any electricity from 100v to 240v (50~60Hz). The torch receives incoming charge from the LED end of
the torch.
The charging process will cause the battery’s temperature to rise. This is normal under normal operating
circumstances.
5. The charging time takes about 10~12 hours. IT IS AGOOD IDEA TO USE A TIMER TO PVERVENT OVER-CHARGEING!
6. This is a good time to check if the o-rings are in good condition and are free of any dust / dirt particle. Change to new ones if
necessary. Apply silicone grease to them before putting the aluminium housing back on.
Lithium-ion Battery care tips:
-Battery should always be charged as soon as possible after every use. DO NOT allow it to sit in a prolonged discharged state as
this will cause permanent damage.
-To keep the battery in good condition, TURN the torch OFF when there is little or no power left in the battery to avoid
over-discharging. Use alternative lighting equipment instead.
