ofilluminationitproducesisunrivalledbyanythingsimilarinsizeonthemarkettoady.Theultrabright
10wLEDanditsrechargeablelithium‐ionbatteryarehousedinasturdy,marine‐gradealuminium
housing.Togetthemostoutofthistorch,pleasereadthroughthemanualcompletelybeforeusingthis
product.Shouldyouhaveanyquestion,pleasedonothesitatetocontactyournearestISTauthorised
dealerordistributorforassistance.

CHARGINGTHEBATTERY:


Beforeusingyourtorchforthefirsttime,pleasechargeandmakesurethebattery’s
powercapacityisfull.

Althoughlithium‐ionbatteryhasnomemoryeffect,foryourconvenience,itisagood
practicetochargeitsoonaftereachusesoitcanbereadyforyournextuse.

NEVERuseanyotherchargerotherthantheonethatcomeswiththetorch!

1. Makesurethetorch’sexteriorisdry,cleananddustfree–itisimportantthatnomoistureshall
comeincontactwiththebatteryoranyelectroniccomponents.
2. Toremovethebattery,turnthebatterycompartmentendcapcounter‐clockwiseuntilitcomesoff.
3. Plugtheappropriateendofthecharger’selectricalcordtoawallsocketandthecharger.When
powerisgoingthroughthecircuit,thelightinthewallsocketendofthecord(green)andthe
charger(yellow,ontheright)willcomeon.

4. Slidethebatteryintothecharger.IftheLEDbulbontheleftisred,itmeansmorechargingisneeded;
iftheLEDisgreen,itmeansitisready.


Chargingisbestperformedincooltemperature.Donotcoverthebatteryandcharger
whilecharging.

5. Althoughthechargerhasabuilt‐inover‐chargingprotection,don’tleavethebatterysittinginthe
chargerinafullychargedstate.
6. Whilecharging,itisagoodtimetocheckifthetwino‐ringsareingood,usableconditions(freeof
dirt,cracks,cuts,deformed)andchangetonewonesifnecessary.Alsochecktheinsideofthe
batterycompartmentcapforcleanliness.Applysiliconegreasetotheo‐ringsbeforeputtingthecap
backon.


USINGTHETORCH:
‐Slidethebatteryintothetorch’sbatterycompartment(notethebattery’sandthebattery
compartment’ssteppedprofile).
 
‐Installthebatteryendcap.
‐Toswitchon:Turnthebatterycompartmentcapattheendof
thetorchclockwiseuntillit.
‐Toswitchoff:Turnthebatterycompartmentcapcounter‐
clockwiseuntilthelightisoff.Ifturningthetorchoffwhilstin
thewater,donotturnmorethanitisnecessarytoprevent
floodingofthetorchinternal.


Atnotimeshouldyouattempttoopenthefrontendofthetorch–indoingso,theseal
willberuinedandyourwarrantybecomesvoidatthesametime.

TheMINISOLisnotrecommendedforuseinairforlongerthan15minutesatatimeor
theunitmayoverheat,damagingtheelectroniccircuitandbattery.

BEFOREEACHDIVE:
‐Makesurethebatteryisfullycharged.
‐Inspectiftheo‐ringsareinclean,goodconditionandifindoubt,donotusethetorchuntiltheo‐
ringsarecleanedorreplaced.Inanycasetheyhaveathinfilmofsiliconegreaseonthemforto
protection.
‐Closethebatterycompartmentcapandturnthetorchontoseeifitisfunctioningproperly.
‐TurnMinisolonbeforeenteringthewatertobeginyourdive.

POSTDIVE:
‐Turnthetorchoff(ifpossible)andthoroughlycleantheexteriorwithfreshwater.
‐Followtheprescribedbatterychargingprocedureswhenitisconvenient.


Althoughlithium‐ionbatteryhasnomemoryeffect,deep‐discharge(e.g.whenpoweris
completelydrained)ishighlydetrimentalandrechargingshouldtakeplaceassoonas
possibleminimisedamage.

STORAGE:
‐Itisveryimportanttostoreyourtorchbutespeciallythebatteryinacool,shadedanddryarea.Do
notexposethemtoextremeconditionssuchasdirectsunlight,heat,ozoneetc.Infact,itishighly
recommendedtokeepthebatteryinthecooleststorageplacethatisconvenientlypossibleasthe
higherthetemperature,thequickerthelithium‐ionbatterywilldegradeandloseitscapacity.
‐Storethetorchandbatteryseparately.





unauthorizedrepair&dismantling,anymodificationormisuse–intentionalorunintentionalwill
renderthiswarrantyinvalid.Damagecausedbyaccidentwillalsonotbecoveredbythiswarranty.

