Before Initial Use
Prior to using or assembling your Ivation® Electronic Wine Bottle Aerator for the first time, we highly recommend that
you run clean, warm water through the aeration tube.
Assembling Your Aerator
1. First, you’ll need to install the batteries. To access the battery compartment,
twist the outer battery cover on the main body counterclockwise, then pull
straight up. The cover should separate completely from the main body (figure 1).
2. To open the battery compartment, press the release latch in the direction
indicated and it should pop open easily. Insert two (2) AAA 1.5V alkaline
batteries, making sure they face the direction indicated by the raised markings
on the compartment, then close the latch on the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover by pressing it down and turning clockwise until it latches
securely into place.
4. Attach the aeration tube (after rinsing it with clean, warm water) by gripping the rubber
stopper, aligning the raised sections inside it with the slots on the protruding spout of the
main body, and then pressing it down and turning it clockwise until it locks securely into
place (figure 2).
5. To expand the aeration tube and expose the air vents for use, grip the bulb at the end of the
tube and pull straight down. To collapse the aeration tube, press the bulb straight up toward
the main body. Do not try to bend or twist the aeration tube as this could damage your
aerator or cause it to malfunction.

Instructions for Use
1. Open the bottle of wine (or spirits) that you want to aerate, and gently insert the
fully-extended aeration tube straight down into the mouth of the bottle until the rubber
stopper seals o the mouth. Do not force the rubber stopper into the bottle (figure 3).
2. Press and hold the operation button on the top of the main body for two seconds while
holding the bottle with your free hand. You will feel a slight vibration as the aerator mixes air
into the liquid (figure 4).
3. The aerator is designed by default to run for a full minute and then shut itself o automatically.
If you would like it to run for longer than one minute, follow these steps:
a. To aerate for two minutes, press the operation button twice quickly after you’ve
started the aeration process.
b. To aerate for three minutes, press the operation button three times after starting the
aeration process.
4. After the aeration process has completed, the device will automatically stop running and
turn itself o. Press and hold the operation button for two seconds if you want to end the
aeration process and turn o the device before that time.
5. Once the aeration process has completed and the device is powered down, remove it from
the bottle. Separate the aeration tube from the main body and immediately rinse it in clean
warm water, then dry with a soft towel.
6. Enjoy your fully aerated wine or spirits!
Care and Maintenance
1. Always clean and dry the aeration tube with warm, clean water and a soft towel immediately after use.
2. If needed, wipe the main body clean with a slightly damp cloth and immediately dry with a soft towel.
3. If water alone is not cleaning the aeration tube, you may use a very small amount of lemon juice or vinegar to
improve the cleaning eect.
4. Do not use any soaps or detergents to clean the main body or the aeration tube, as these could damage or discolor
the product.
5. Always separate the aeration tube from the main body to clean it. Do not submerge the main body in water.
6. The main body and aeration tube are not dishwasher-safe.
