Important information regarding your unit
Keep in mind that your iWatSkate incorporates 4 electrical components: the control board, the wireless
controller, the motor wheel and the battery. These elements feature various protective systems to guar-
antee user safety:
1. Automatic Protection function upon loss of wireless connection.
If we traverse an area with radio-electrical interference, it’s possible that we’ll lose connection between
the remote and the skate. In this case, lights 1or 2will FLASH and the unit will active the brakes in order
to come to a stop.
Possible cause: Certain environments are filled with wireless signals and strong interference, generated by
industrial machinery, electrical transformers, etc.
Solution: Stop using the skate and leave the area until the connection is recovered. Now you can safely
enjoy your skate.
2. Security Protection upon motor wheel blockage.
In the event that the motor wheel becomes blocked, the system will stop working and the lights on the
remote 3, 4and 5will begin to FLASH IN SYNC. The skate will active the brakes in order to come to a
stop. At this moment the remote control will stop controlling the functions of the skate.
Possible cause: The motor wheel has become blocked in a hole or an obstacle, or due to the cold.
Solution: Check the wheel and make sure that no element is impeding rotation.
3. Security Protection against an excessive rise in electrical current.
If the recommended limits of the iWatSkate are surpassed, the system responsible for protecting the motor
against any electrical current that exceeds nominal value, a RAPID FLASH will occur and lights 3, 4and
5will simultaneously light up on the remote, bringing the skate to a stop.
Possible cause: Riding up a hill that’s too steep or surpassing the user weight limit.
Solution: Turn o the skate and wait for the motor to cool down before using again.
4. Security Protection against motor overheating.
The Skate’s motor is small but powerful, meaning that it can become excessively warm. The skate incor-
porates a temperature limit to guarantee the safety of the motor and of the user. If this happens, a SLOW
FLASH will show up on lights 3, 4and 5SIMULTANEOUSLY on the remote, bringing the skate to a stop.
Possible cause: Riding up a hill that’s too steep or surpassing the user weight limit.
Solution: Turn o the skate and wait for the motor to cool down before using again.
5. Low-voltage Protection against a low battery level.
If the battery is low, the iWatSkate will reduce velocity, but the brake system will function normally. If this
happens, light 5on the remote control will FLASH. If the remote has a low battery, a SLOW FLASH will
also occur on light 5.
Possible cause: Using the skate even though he battery is low.
Solution: Stop use and recharge the battery of both the skate and the remote control.

How to replace the cover on the motor-wheel
The wheels on the skate will wear due to use and duration, depending on the type of roads it’s used on
and the riding habits of the user. We have designed the motor-wheel so that swapping out the cover can
be easy. Please follow these instructions:
1. Use the indicated tool to re-
move all of the screws (except
the centre screw).
4. Insert the new cover.
7. Insert the screws.
2. Remove the black washer.
5. Re-attach the black washer,
making sure that the orifices all
coincide.
8. Installation complete!
3. Remove the worn cover.
6. Fill the orifices with
thread-locker.
WARNING
Wait 2 hours before using the skate again. This is the time it takes for the glue to completely dry.

faq
1. Why doesn’t the board turn ON?
Please charge the board correctly and completely.
2. Why isn’t the board moving if it’s on?
Please switch the remote control on and make sure light 1and 2is ON, and NOT FLASHING. If the light
is flashing, it means the signal is not connected. The wireless signal may get disconnected from the heavy
signal-polluted environment. You should get away from that area and try riding again. Please make sure
light 1or 2are always ON, which means normal working status.
3. Why does the board turn OFF automatically?
The board turns OFF automatically if it is kept still for 1 minute in order to save energy. It will turn OFF in
case of low battery.
4. Why is the autonomy range lower than specified?
The autonomy range described has been calculated riding in an ideal environment. The distance may
vary depending on the road condition, the user’s weight, the speed, riding habits, etc. Avoiding sudden
accelerations and breaks can improve the autonomy range. Riding up slopes, heavy loading and bad road
conditions also shorten the autonomy range.
5. Can I ride the electric skateboard as a normal skateboard?
NO. The motorized skateboard is not designed to be used as a normal skateboard. Avoid performing tricks
and stunts, jumping, drifting etc.
6. How shall I charge the board correctly? Should I just charge it when the battery is
low?
You don’t need to wait until the battery runs out in order to charge it. In fact, charging the board frequently
will help improve battery life.
7. Can I use a dierent charger other than the original one?
NO. It is prohibited to use any chargers other than the provided by the manufacturer
8. Can I upgrade the software with an open software?
NO. The skateboard would not support an open source firmware. Please NEVER upgrade the board with
any firmware not ocially supplied by the manufacturer. This will damage the iWatSkate.
