SET UP
CHARGING YOUR SPEAKER
The “Classic+” speaker is powered by a rechargeable
battery. The speaker comes precharged; however,
for optimal playtime, make sure to charge before
rstuse.
A – To charge the speaker, open the cover of the
USB charging port located on the left side. Take
the included charging cable and connect the end
with the micro USB into the port on the speaker
labeled“Charge”.
B – Connect the larger USB plug into your computer
or a powered USB AC adapter. An adapter is not
included in the box, but you can use the one for your
cell phone or pick one up the next time you’re at
thestore.
C – While charging, the LED light at the top of the
speaker will stay solid red. Charge for about 3 hours
to get up to 10 hours of playtime. Once fully charged,
the LED will turn off.
USE
A – TURN ON YOUR SPEAKER
Press and hold the power button (which is also the
volume dial) for 4 seconds to turn on your speaker.

B – CONNECTING TO A DEVICE
Once turned on, the speaker will immediately search
for a device to pair to. If a device has not been
previously paired, the LED light on the top of the
speaker will ash red and blue alternatively. Enable
Bluetooth®on your device. From the Bluetooth®
menu, select “JAM Classic+”. When the device and
JAM Classic+ are connected, you will hear a tone and
the LED light will turn solid blue momentarily then
move to a slow ashing blue.
You may also connect your device to the “Classic+”
speaker using an aux cable, which is not included.
Note: Once paired, the speaker will remember the
device every time it is turned on. To disconnect the
speaker from the device, press and hold the “play/
pause” button for 3 seconds. You will hear a tone
and the LED light at the top of the speaker will ash
red and blue. The “Classic+” is now ready to pair to a
newdevice.
C – BUTTON FUNCTION
Quickly press the “play/pause” button once to play
your music.
To increase the volume, turn the volume dial
clockwise; to lower the volume, turn the volume
dialcounterclockwise.
To skip forward a track, quickly press the button
once; to skip back a track, quickly press the once.

D – CALL HANDLING
If a call comes in while rocking out to your music,
quickly press the “play/pause” button once to pick it
up; quickly press again when you’re done to hang up.
While on a call, if you want to make it private, press
and hold the “play/pause” button for 2 seconds to
move the call from your speaker to your phone.
If a call comes in and you don’t want to pick it up,
press and hold the “play/pause” button for 2 seconds
to send the call to voicemail.

PAIR 2 CLASSIC+ SPEAKERS
1. Turn on speaker 1 (press and hold the volume dial
for 4 seconds to turn on).
2. Pair your device to the speaker by following the
“CONNECTING TO A DEVICE” instructions.
3. Turn on speaker 2 (press and hold the volume
dial for 4 seconds). Do not pair speaker 2 to
yourdevice.
4. On speaker 1, press and hold the backward
and forward button at the same time for
2 seconds. You will hear “ready to pair” while the
speakers are connecting to each other. This will
take a few seconds.
5. Once the speakers are paired successfully
together, you will hear “left channel” and “right
channel” indicating that they are in stereo mode.
6. Press the “play/pause” button on either speaker
to listen to music. Press and hold the backward
and forward button at the same time
for 2 seconds to toggle between stereo and
monomodes.
7. Once paired, your speakers will recognize each
other every time both are turned on. To disconnect
pair 2 mode, press and hold the backward
and forward button at the same time for
2seconds. This will enter into pairing mode again.
Note: If either of your speakers has been previously
paired to a device, or will not pair automatically, press
and hold the “play/pause” and buttons on both
speakers for 2 seconds to activate pairing mode. You
will know they have reached pairing mode by the red
and blue blinking light.

The Warranty
JAM sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects
in manufacture and workmanship under normal use and service.
In the unlikely event that your JAM productproves to be faulty
within 1 year from the date of purchase due to workmanship or
materials only, we will replace it at our own expense,subject to
the terms and conditions of this guarantee. The warranty period is
limited to 3 months from the date of purchase for products used
commercially/professionally.
Terms and Conditions:
In addition to the rights and remedies that you have underthe
Australian Consumer Law, Consumer Guarantees Act of New
Zealand or any other applicable lawand without excludingsuch
rights and remedies warranty against defects:
1. The Goods are designed to withstand the rigors of normal
household use and are manufactured to the highest standards
usingthe highest quality components. Whilst unlikely, if, during
of purchase from the Supplier (Warranty Period), the Goods
prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials
and none of your statutory rights or remedies apply, wewill
replace the Goods, subject to the terms and conditions of this
warranty.
2. We do not have to replace the Goods under this Additional
Warrantyifthe Goods have been damaged due to misuse or

3. This Warranty does not extend to the purchase of used, repaired,
or secondhand products, or to products not imported or supplied
by HoMedics Australia Pty Ltd, including but not limited to those
sold on offshore internet auction sites.
4. This Warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend
to Suppliers.
5. Even when we do not have to replace the Goods, we may decide
to do so anyway. In some cases, we may decide to substitute
the Goods with a similar alternative product of our choosing. All
such decisions are at our absolute discretion.
6. All such replaced or substituted Goods continue to receive the
original Warranty Period (or 3 months, whichever is the longest).
7. This Additional Warranty does not cover items damaged
by normal wear and tear, including but not limited to chips,
scratches, abrasions, discolouration, and other minor defects,
where the damage has negligible effect on the operation or
performance of the Goods.
8. This Additional Warranty is limited to replacement or
substitution only. As far as the law permits, we will not be liable
for any loss or damage caused to property or persons arising
from any cause whatsoever, and shall have no liability for any
incidental, consequential, or special damages.
9. This warranty is only valid and enforceable in Australia and
New Zealand.
Making a Claim:
In order to claim under this Warranty, you must return the Goods
to the Supplier (place of purchase) for replacement. If this is not
possible, please contact our Consumer Relations department by

• All returned Goods must be accompanied by satisfactory proof
of purchase that clearly indicates the name and address of
receipt or sales invoice.
• You must bear any expense for return of the Goods or otherwise
associated with making your claim under this Additional

CONFIGURATION
CHARGE DU HAUT-PARLEUR
Le haut-parleur Classic+ est alimenté par une batterie
rechargeable. Le haut-parleur est fourni chargé.
Toutefois, pour assurer une durée d’écoute optimale,
veillez à le charger avant la première utilisation.
A – Pour charger le haut-parleur, ouvrez le couvercle
du port de charge USB situé sur le côté gauche.
Prenez le câble de charge inclus et branchez-en
l’extrémité micro USB dans le port du haut-parleur
marqué « Charge ».
B – Branchez la plus grande la prise USB dans votre
ordinateur ou dans un adaptateur secteur USB
alimenté. L’adaptateur secteur n’est pas inclus dans
la boîte, mais vous pouvez utiliser celui de votre
téléphone cellulaire ou vous en procurer un lors de
vos prochains achats.
C – Lors de la charge, le voyant à DEL en haut du
haut-parleur s’allume en rouge xe. Chargez environ
3 heures pour jusqu’à 10 heures d’écoute. Il s’éteint
lorsque l’appareil est chargé.
UTILISATION
A – MISE EN MARCHE DU HAUT-PARLEUR
Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt (qui est
également le bouton du volume) pendant 4 secondes
pour mettre le haut-parleur en marche.

B – CONNEXION À UN APPAREIL
Une fois activé, le haut-parleur recherche
immédiatement un appareil pour l’appairage. Si
l’appareil n’a pas déjà été appairé, le voyant à DEL
en haut du haut-parleur clignote en rouge et en bleu.
Activez la fonction Bluetooth®sur votre appareil.
Dans le menu Bluetooth®, sélectionnez « JAM
Classic+ ». Lorsque l’appareil et JAM Classic+ sont
connectés, vous entendrez une tonalité et le voyant
à DEL s’allume momentanément en bleu xe puis
clignote lentement en bleu.
Vous pouvez également connecter votre appareil au
haut-parleur Classic+ avec un câble auxiliaire, non
inclus.
Remarque: Une fois appairé, le haut-parleur détectera
l’appareil à chaque fois qu’il est mis en marche. Pour
débrancher le haut-parleur de l’appareil, appuyez sur
le bouton Lecture/Pause pendant 3 secondes. Une
tonalité se fait entendre et le voyant à DEL en haut du
haut-parleur clignote en rouge et en bleu. Le haut-
parleur Classic+ est maintenant prêt à être appairé à
un autre appareil.
C – FONCTION DES BOUTONS
Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton Lecture/Pause
pour jouer votre musique.
Pour augmenter le volume, tournez le bouton du
volume dans le sens horaire. Pour diminuer le
volume, tournez-le dans le sens antihoraire.
Pour passer à la piste suivante, appuyez brièvement
une fois sur le bouton . Pour reculer d’une piste,
appuyez brièvement une fois sur le bouton .
D – GESTION DES APPELS
Tout en écoutant votre musique, en cas d’appel,
appuyez brièvement sur le bouton Lecture/Pause
pour prendre un appel, puis appuyez brièvement une
fois de plus pour raccrocher.
Si vous souhaitez que l’appel reste condentiel,
appuyez pendant 2 secondes sur le bouton Lecture/
Pause pour transférer l’appel du haut-parleur à votre
téléphone.
Pour ne pas répondre à un appel entrant, appuyez
pendant 2 secondes sur le bouton Lecture/Pause
pour envoyer l’appel vers la messagerie vocale.

APPAIRAGE DE 2 HAUT-
PARLEURS CLASSIC+
1. Mettez le premier haut-parleur en marche (en
appuyant sur le bouton du volume pendant 4
secondes).
2. Appairez l’appareil au haut-parleur en suivant
les instructions de la section CONNEXION À UN
APPAREIL.
3. Mettez le deuxième haut-parleur en marche (en
appuyant sur le bouton du volume pendant 4
secondes). N’appairez pas le deuxième haut--
parleur à votre appareil.
4. Sur le premier haut-parleur, appuyez simultanément
sur le bouton précédent et sur le bouton
suivant pendant 2 secondes. Le message «
Ready to pair » (Prêt à l’appairage) se fait entendre
pendant que les haut-parleurs se connectent l’un à
l’autre. Cela prend quelques secondes.
5. Une fois les haut-parleurs correctement appairés,
vous entendrez « left channel » (canal gauche) et «
right channel » (canal droit) indiquant qu’ils sont en
mode stéréo.
6. Appuyez sur le bouton Lecture/Pause sur l’un ou
l’autre haut-parleur pour écouter votre musique.
Appuyez simultanément sur les boutons précédent
et suivant pendant 2 secondes pour
basculer entre deux haut-parleurs ou un seul haut-
parleur.
7. Une fois appairés, les haut-parleurs se détecteront
à chaque fois qu’ils sont mis en marche. Pour
désactiver le mode d’appairage de 2 haut-
parleurs, appuyez simultanément sur le bouton
précédent et sur le bouton suivant pendant
2 secondes. Cela permet d’activer de nouveau le
mode d’appairage.
Remarque: Si aucun haut-parleur n’a été
précédemment appairé à un appareil ou s’il
ne s’appaire pas automatiquement, appuyez
simultanément sur les boutons Lecture/Pause
et pendant 2 secondes pour activer le mode
d’appairage. Lorsque le voyant clignote en rouge
et en bleu, cela signie que le mode d’appairage
estterminé.

CONFIGURACIÓN
CÓMO CARGAR SUS ALTAVOCES
El altavoz “Classic+” recibe su energía de una batería
recargable. El altavoz viene precargado; sin embargo,
para un tiempo de uso óptimo, asegúrese de cargarlo
antes del primer uso.
A – Para cargar el altavoz, abra la cubierta del puerto
de carga USB ubicada en el lado izquierdo. Tome el
cable de carga incluido y conecte el extremo micro
USB al puerto del altavoz que dice “Charge” (carga).
B – Conecte el enchufe USB mayor a su computadora
o a un adaptador de CA USB energizado. En la caja
no viene incluido un adaptador, pero puede usar el de
su teléfono celular o adquirir uno la próxima vez que
visite la tienda.
C – Mientras se carga, la luz LED en la parte superior
del altavoz permanecerá encendida de color rojo
permanente. Cargue durante alrededor de 3 horas
para tener hasta 10 horas de reproducción. Cuando
esté completamente cargado, la luz LED se apagará.
MODO DE USO
A – ENCIENDA SU ALTAVOZ
Presione y mantenga presionado el botón de
encendido (el cual también es el dial de volumen)
durante 4 segundos para encender su altavoz.

B – CONECTARSE A UN DISPOSITIVO
Una vez encendido, el altavoz comenzará a buscar de
inmediato un dispositivo para emparejarse. Si antes no
se ha emparejado algún dispositivo, la luz LED en la parte
superior del altavoz parpadeará en colores rojo y azul de
manera alternada. Habilite Bluetooth®en su dispositivo.
Desde el menú de Bluetooth®, seleccione “JAM Classic+”.
Cuando el dispositivo y el altavoz JAM Classic+ estén
conectados, escuchará un tono y la luz LED se iluminará por
un momento en color azul permanente y luego comenzará a
parpadear lentamente en color azul.
También puede conectar su dispositivo al altavoz “Classic+”
usando un cable auxiliar, que no está incluido.
Nota: Una vez emparejado, el altavoz detectará el
dispositivo cada vez que se encienda. Para desconectar
el altavoz del dispositivo, presione y sostenga el botón de
“reproducción/pausa” durante 3 segundos. Escuchará un
tono y la luz LED en la parte superior del altavoz parpadeará
en colores rojo y azul. El altavoz “Classic+”
ya está listo para acoplarse con un nuevo dispositivo.
C – FUNCIÓN DE LOS BOTONES
Oprima brevemente el botón de “reproducción/pausa”
una vez para reproducir su música.
Para aumentar el volumen, gire el dial de volumen en
dirección de las manecillas del reloj; para bajar el volumen,
gire el dial de volumen en contra de las manecillas delreloj.
Para pasar a la siguiente pista, presione brevemente
el botón ; para regresar a la pista anterior, presione
brevemente el botón .
D – CONTESTACIÓN DE LLAMADA
Si recibe una llamada mientras está disfrutando de su
música, presione brevemente el botón de “reproducción/
pausa” una vez para contestar la llamada; cuando termine,
vuelva a presionarlo brevemente para colgar.
Mientras está en una llamada, si desea hacerla privada,
presione y mantenga presionado el botón de “reproducción/
pausa” durante 2 segundos para pasar la llamada del
altavoz a su teléfono.
Si suena una llamada y no desea contestarla, presione y
mantenga presionado el botón de “reproducción/pausa”
durante 2 segundos para enviar la llamada al buzón devoz.
